I found this gem on a whim. I usually go to Seva in the Walmart on the Lynnway, and make my…read moreappointments through Vagaro. I was looking for a more affordable place, and I was also disappointed with the quality I got at Seva for the price. Marina did my eyelash extensions, and while they were just the less expensive type (yeah, I know they're not good for your lashes, so sue me) she did an impeccable job with them. You probably wouldn't be able to tell they were not the pricier ones unless you were a tech or looked up close. They were natural looking and have lasted fairly long. They also do the other type if you make an appointment in advance. She also waxed my eyebrows and filled them in a bit to show me what fuller brows would look like. The shape is impeccable! They also offer other services like gel manicures, pedicures, and hair. I'm so excited to try these in the future! However the girls here do not speak much (if any) English, but the owner does. However, Marina was so kind and patient with me when I tried to speak as much Spanish as I could. She was trying to teach me new Spanish and I was teaching her new English words. We even had some interesting conversations! I will definitely be returning!

It feels like one of those secrets you almost don't want to share because she's that good. With Anh, I get instant and lasting benefits every single time. My skin is clearer, healthier, and I've gotten more compliments this year than I ever have. She also takes the time to recommend products that actually work for me, which has made such a difference in keeping my skin on track between visits. If you're looking for results-driven skincare in Boston, this is the place. Anh is truly a hidden gem.

HAIR EXTENSIONS RUINED MY HAIR! As lovely as hair extensions…read morecan be for an instant change in your looks, they can also be terrible for your natural hair - to the point where you're googling "Help! Hair extensions ruined my hair!". With all that extra length and added volume comes the inevitable science that is an added weight to your scalp, which is precious and delicate already, causing major stress on your follicles from the strain of all that weight from your hair extensions - this is where hair extensions can ruin your hair. Regardless of the method used for applications tailored to each style of hair extensions that are available, hair extensions are attached to your hair - tugging at your scalp as well as your hair and because of this fact, hair extensions CAN ruin your hair but the damage can also be avoided. The tension from wearing hair extensions can lead to traction alopecia which is a type of alopecia caused from when pressure has constantly been put on the roots which has damaged your hair follicles. The most damaging factor of hair extensions is the application - if it's not done correctly by someone who is specialised in the particular type of hair extensions you're getting, you could end up with less hair than you started

We were pretty early so we were hanging out for a while since the lady was still finishing up her costumer before us. Nataly was my hair dresser and she was fantastic. She did my hair and ombré or balayage. Not sure which one since they look similar. She was really patient and good with her craft. She even helped me put my baby to sleep which was really nice of her. My hair came out good but it took too long cause of the amount of hair I have and everyone was tired already. She told me to come back to tone out more of the brassy parts of my hair. So I'm coming back in two days to get my hair a little bit more lighter. I can't wait!
