A friend recommended Center Nails when my regular nail salon was booked and my first experience was ok. I had to wait about 30 minutes past my appt time. Others were waiting when I got there, including two ladies who actually left and came back. Angie was very nice and my nails looked good. The second time I waited more than half hour and after my wait, Angie asked if the man working there could do my nails instead. I replied I requested her so would wait. He was visibly frustrated. Ridiculous. My appointment was specifically scheduled with her, and if I chose to wait, that shouldn't be an issue. She finally did my nails and when time to check out told me a different price, $10 higher than previously charged for dip. I questioned it, and she said I chose a more expensive dip powder. I said there are no prices on the nail samples, so she said because the additional charge wasn't listed she would only charge me $5 extra. Ummm ok :( I should have stopped at that time, but I went back and made sure I asked about the nail color price first! This time the dip was a mess. She was struggling and complaining about it. It was also putting me on edge because she was so frustrated. I finally said is there something wrong with the polish or powder. She said no, but was still struggling with it and continually trying to fix it throughout the process. After my nails were done she said something was wrong with it and slammed it in the trash. I was concerned it wouldn't last so asked if she would redo them with a new powder, especially since there was something wrong with the other one. She said they were fine and blew me off. She still charged full price which I thought was crazy after that experience. My nail color started chipping in two days. I will never go back. While they have been there a long time and some people are pleased, I agree with another customer who said the atmosphere was not welcoming. I did not feel valued as a customer. read more

Worst pedicure I have ever gotten. Beginning to end was seriously 15 minutes. I told him to do my heels and he just rubbed it once with exfoliating scrub. He kept asking me if I wanted to get my nails done even though I told him multiple times that I did not. Not worth the money at all. read more

The vibe was so weird. Not a welcoming feeling at all. Was 20 minutes past my appointment time when taken back. Pedicure was by far the roughest and most painful experience I've ever had. He dug so much around my toes there gaps. I am not looking forward to the pain I'm going to feel the next few days. You cut away, not tear at the skin...and he kept looking away while pushing back my cuticles. Needless to say, my feet are sore and the polish looks like my daughter painted my nails to top it off. read more

The guy that did my nails started off ok and got worse. I got coffin shaped nails with gel. They look circular and the gel chipped within a few days!! Gel is suppose to last longer! Acrylic mess and he was on his phone the whole time. My daughter had hers done there the same day.. in less than a week all her nails fell off!! Never going again. He wasn't good and Angie the one who did my daughters nails talks about everyone that walks in and people there. Not professional at all. I had my lashes done Thursday eyes were irritated very sore for two days .I had to soak off woke up both eyes swollen drainage Minday March. 4.I went to er they said I have bacterial infection in both eyes.I called spoke to Angie she told me to get benadryl I told her it was to late my eyes was ine er with diccomfort.I wasn't offered no refund I went there to see what glue was being used Angie showed me product and went to station to finish her client.Very disappointed never would return to this nail place again.I am on antibiotics for my eyes . read more

This place is not welcoming at all. They ignore you and it appeared they only acknowledge their regular customers. I really don't like the different price list if you use cash or a card. I can understand having a minimum to use your card but to have all expenses high if you use a card is ridiculous. I will not be returning to this business. read more

I'll never forget going to this establishment, firstly they tend to ignore customers when you walk in - making you wait quite some time before even approaching you. The nail tech I went to not only did my nails poorly, she snapped at me "So you think you're the professional huh?" when I simply asked to if she could file some more. I was so hurt, I got up and left without paying. The owner turned to another customer, someone I knew personally (small town) and told her I was a "brat". How unprofessional. Mind you, I'm usually afraid to speak up about my nails because I get nervous. So after the employee spoke to me that way, it just confirmed my fears. There are plenty of better nail salons around like BB Nails & Hot Nails. Save your money for a better service. read more

I paid $30 for a lousy job. The tech nail person did my nails and while he was doing them, he kept answering his phone and texting! My nails were not painted all the way to their side! I'm very disappointed in this establishment. I went for a gel manicure and was told they didn't have time for me to wash me hands and also didn't get to soak my hands. I wasn't given a manicure and they did take $5 off but I wanted one. I didn't make an appointment ahead of time and if I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have come. The time before that I did get to to soak my hands only and had a manicure. It seems that they are taking too many clients and cutting back on quality. read more

I'm really disappointed in this salon. We didn't have too long of a wait to be seen but once we were in the chair soaking our feet for the pedicures, we sat there for 40 minutes with our feet in the water until I got up and asked if we were going to be helped. Someone came over to me and touched my feet for 5 minutes. Barely scrubbed, trimmed or massaged and then someone came being her and painted them. The people working there were very friendly and nice but the quality of work is severely lacking. My feet weren't bad to begin with and they didn't get the dead skin off or anything! It's a family run business, they do a good job, and the storefront is clean and the owners and staff are friendly. Yes, they charge extra for using a credit card, but I weigh that against their extremely reasonable prices. If it matters to you then bring cash. I've never had such a horrible experience at a nail salon. I went to the same person for almost a year and she's expressed that she does not like doing full sets. I needed a full set for a special occasion and she had an attitude about it. I want my nails not as long and my last set, which were super long, instead she cut them super short. I expressed that they were a little too short and she got even more frustrated. I apologized and said that I just wanted them a little longer bc with the tips I had on my nails now, I could grow my natural nails out to that length. She replied with "Good for you." I was shocked. I apologized multiple times for "being a bother". But at this point, she was being so blatantly rude and became rough with my hands. I didn't know what to do so I called my parents and asked and they told me to leave, so I did. Customers that were there also attended my school and they told me that the women that worked at Center Nails were speaking very bad about me saying that I didn't have money, that I was a spoiled brat, telling them to never act like that, etc. I've always given good tips and was very nice to these women even when they would cut my fingers on numerous occasions, make me wait an hour after my appointed time, and have an attitude with me. I never once responded negatively when they had an attitude with me bc I personally get too nervous to correct them on my nails and don't like to annoy them. But this time, it was my last homecoming, and I just wanted them to be nice. Money was not an issue, but they kept raising the price as it went on. It is very disheartening that these women would speak so ill of me right after I leave after I told them the problems I was having and instead of at least trying to fix it, they had an attitude that was impossible to miss. I was honestly just going to stay and just not tip, but I felt so uncomfortable sitting there, that I just had to leave. I'm so disappointed. read more
