It's a complete ripoff and not fair to honest customers. John is the absolute greatest person to work with, and always tries his best to make sure your needs are met within his strength. This is my closeout review…read more First, I want to acknowledge the staff--John in particular was absolutely great to work with. He was professional, helpful, and made the experience pleasant on a personal level. However, my issue is with the company's pricing practices, which felt like a clear bait-and-switch. I initially signed up under a promotional offer that provided a reduced rate for the first three months, with the understanding that it would then move to a set standard rate. However, before the promotional period even ended, I received notice that my rate would increase--by nearly 38% above the agreed-upon post-promotion rate. As a result, I didn't even receive a full month at the standard rate I originally agreed to before being hit with a significant increase. That feels misleading and undermines the terms presented at signup. Overall, it gives the impression that the company relies on promotional pricing to attract customers, only to quickly raise rates to offset those discounts.

Great customer service & employees, super clean new state of the art facility, and easy access to our unit. They even supply dolly carts to transport your stuff to your unit, and they have free coffee (and chocolate chip cookies for the kids) in the main lobby! Lastly, I love the fact that you do NOT have to sign a long term contract with them, as many people only need these units for a few months or so. We'll probably keep it for a year to two though, until we can de-clutter the house. Thanks Space Shop!

We also told him we would take the $10,000 of insurance for $100...a no brainer as I said to him. The movers called him the day of the move, and he stuck cardboard between the glass. They moved it without disassembling it and damaged it. I filed a claim only to be told I did not have insurance. Turned out I did not realize it was not included in my quote...yes, my fault but the salesman apparently did not own up to his error. They should have disassembled the table as agreed. Had they taken time to look at it, they would have found that it was easy to do so. The table was worth well over $2,000. The offered me $120 and agreed to come up to $200. Not good business and I do not recommend them!
