I would not recommend this school to future students. I took Hospitality Management. The teacher…read morewas very good in general. She is very knowledgeable and cares a great deal about her students. The lectures however were slightly dry because of the teaching materials the teacher was given. She tries to enrich the material by showing youtube videos that relates to the topic. Only critism I have about the teacher is she needs improvement in the English language and lecturing skills. There is a lot of "um" and "uh" in every sentence which makes it very difficult to focus on the point at times. The course is a very fast paced course and there are topics covered that there should be more time for. This course should not be taken if you don't actually have industry experience. Another reason this school would not be recommended is because of Management. They are unprofessional and hard to deal with. First of all, students do not know which management person is in charge of what duties unless it becomes necessary. Second, the Scarborough campus houses 2 different school however the policies are different for very small things like obtaining a student ID. Examples of unprofessionalism: Moving furniture during class hours loudly disturbing the classes that are running.

This oasis of calm is found between the Scarborough Civic Centre and Scarborough Town Centre. Came here during the lunch rush and just took a look around at the sculptures and architecture. Sat down at one of the many benches (they have many tables as well) shaded by the trees and enjoyed listening to the birds and the sound of the man made waterfall. After my moment of calm I headed to the busy Towne Centre, I was ready to face the masses.

I wanted to apply to Centennial College for the Digital Marketing programme…read more But they don't inform new students about the total fees before paying the deposit. They told "approximate fee" and they wanted me to pay a deposit ( 2.650 $) without knowing the total 1-year fee. They just want to have money, money, money!!! Students have a right to learn the exact final tuition fee before they register. They said that they would let me know until 22nd June 2020 but still there is no information. I sent an e-mail 3 times after 22nd June, they never answered my mail. Moreover After the pandemic, the Centennial college has just started to demand the whole tuition fee only from the international students until 6th July 2020 while they were taking the fee semester by semester before the pandemic. They are not asking the whole fee from the domestic students. Centennial does not be equal for all students in terms of the payment schedule. The epidemic has already affected to all international students. However, Centennial still does not inform students about Fall fees? My suggestion is please be careful while you want to go to Centennial College. You should think more than twice if you don't want to go to a school which sees you only as money and doesn't respect your rights.

They split the letter categories into A,R, and F. 4 people on F , 3 on R and 1 person on F (i was F) Let me be clear when i say this, it is slow as Fuck! Do not come here unless you have a whole day to burn sitting on your ass. Totally inefficient and a down right pain. Considering the tuition i paid these people should atleast have administrative services running more smoothly. Dont waste your time or money here. Go to a real college like George Brown. Oh yeah while im at it, if you like frosh events or external events do not even think about coming here. Unless you enjoy bolly wood night or shitty fiction nightclub sub focused events. Enjoy these cheap excuses for events while other schools are holding concerts and raves with relevant artists.

(WARNING: THIS REVIEW WAS MADE ON SEPTEMBER 2024. REVIEW MAY NOT BE ACCARUATE LATER ON)…read more McGregor Pool. A place where you could unwind. right... right?? So we will only be two topics Pool and staff so lets go! POOL: Alright so right off the bat. my visits. there was a kid who threw up 2 times different times and different days. And that was couple of days after it just opened. now its like what. but the rest of the times. it was good. Its very cold for cold weather. but if hot. it could be amazing. like amazing amazing. in case of babys bathrooms or shower. There are shower rooms that have showers then a dressing room (sometimes its locked sometimes its not) it just depends. but back to the topic there is a bathroom. now A QUICK WARNING. because people are going to need it. if you are a boy. who needs to use the washroom. if you go to the boys shower room and head to the bathroom. there is only one stall. now if you head to the unviersal. there is multiple. and the showers are the same only 4 for all shower rooms. there is a office for FIRST AID and more. STAFF: Now this one is going to be pretty short unlike the pool one. because well there isnt much things to say. some staff are nice some are not. and thats kind what sums it. as there really isnt nothing else to say expect most of the staff are nice. SHOULD YOU GO TO THIS POOL: Yea! Its peaceful sometimes. can get a bit crowed but if you are near mcgregor and want to go do a quick swim. this is your place! - Ethan K.

I remember spending 13 days in four different Toronto community centres including this one from 24-Dec-2013 to 04-Jan-2014. The North American event was called the 2013 Toronto Ice Storm locally. So much of this city was impacted by the significant severe winter weather storm that included a crippling blanket of ice that forced Toronto to open up a number of community centres as emergency shelters. I even celebrated my birthday here during a midnight shift, complete with a cake that another volunteer bought and then totally surprised me with! The staff here were terrific, then and now. What great memories about what these functional community centre are when times were really tough, and when I'm only here to freely exercise my democratic right to Vote!
