For example, this year (2017), the venue hosted the WTA tour while Montreal hosted the ATP. Next year it will switch around. This was my second time visiting the stadium for the WTA, and just like the first time I enjoyed my visit here and the matches I got to see in the semi-finals for the women. In terms of the stadium it's a nice venue overall. Clean and well-kept, so no complaints there, however, if there is one area I think could be improved upon greatly it would be the concession prices. There just way to high in my opinion and I will gladly always wait to eat outside the stadium versus inside. I'm sure that won't change anytime soon, but it's worth noting nonetheless.

All the staff- from ticket checkers to food vendors to security- were pleasant despite the heat and crowds. Mostly decent and healthy food options (I appreciate that). Really good views of the practice courts. Wishing there were more spots to grab shade and rest, as well as ice machines. The heat and sun made it very difficult to watch a full match.

Wildcard - Myself and Nadia at a Wildcard Event

I had the pleasure of hiring Wildcard to help plan and produce a corporate event I worked on a…read morecouple of years back. Not being familiar with their business I assumed they covered the basics like poker and pretty girls for the fellas (and apparently pretty guys for the ladies). Upon meeting with Nadia for our intial meeting I was absolutely blown away by their full product and service offerings. Aerialists, models, themed celebrity impersonators, dancers (from every style and ethnic background), dance instructors, casino games, musical acts everything from single artists to full multi-piece bands, fire performers, party rentals (furniture, bar set ups, lounge chairs) photobooths, staff and more... and more and more. To give you and idea of how you should proceed with your wish list when working with Wildcard is by simply saying "Do you know what would be cool to have at _________ (event)?" Then say it and in the speed of one of those commercials for 1-800-got-junk (where you point and poof the junk is gone), Nadia had a cool solution for my dreams, and 5 other ideas as well. I would say that they are the premier event production company in the GTA but that would be a disservice to the magic the people at Wildcard create. Instead, I would say that they are the premier facilitator of dreams come true for any experience you're looking to have. For the event I hosted we had an aerialist pouring champagne from the ceiling as guests walked into the room, a samba performance that would rival what you might see at Caribana, an electric violinist who absolutely KILLED it, a kick ass photo booth, and blackjack with some of the proceeds going to charity (to name a few)! Being someone who regularly plans corporate events (as well as going overboard with the planning of friends and family events) it goes without saying that Wildcard (Nadia) is the first and only call I'll ever make again when hosting an event of any size... Next stop... bachelor party? Maybe! Give them a call and tell them your old pal Kris from Yelp forced you to get in touch with them

They arrived late and left early and insisted on a big tip at the end of their 4 hour shift. First time I've seen that at the over 100 stags I've been to. The icing on the cake was the horrible dealer who has been "doing this for 30 years" seemed to me he never held a deck of cards before. He also ended up costing me a $250 pot because of a big mistake of his and that he was curious to see what the other player had. Not sure what business is it of his as it isn't his money but overall a horrible experience and I would not recommend this company. I've been playing poker for over 10 years and have helped out friends withe numerous events. Never seen a dealer flip over a mucked hand, say "why would you fold this you can still win...all you need is a full house" and proceed to then put the river and of course give the other player a full house. I don't care about losing the hand because the cards are set in stone. What bothered me was the player said to me after seeing my King high flush was "oh wow nice hand you're good take the pot...and folded face down. Why the dealer did that was beyond me, especially being around for 30 years.

Another hot tip is to buy your ticket for a weekday at 7pm (earliest time) and arrive a little before it opens so you're one of the first to enter. That way you won't need to wait in those long lineups, at least for your first couple of haunted houses. Or just splurge for a front-of-line pass and go whenever you want. Your ticket includes entry to 7 haunted houses, each with a different theme, and the site has a fun show to enjoy ("The Kill Show") plus some rides, a booze lounge and food trucks. Honestly, I was impressed by 5 out of the 7 haunted houses (two were meh). A lot of the sets were really well done and quite creepy, and the actors were pretty good at coming out of nowhere and scaring the bejesus out of you. Try your best to lag well behind the people in front of you, otherwise you'll never get a truly good scare. The more crowded it is inside the haunted house, the less fun it is. IMHO this is way better than Legends of Horror at Casa Loma.
