Overall one of the best ballparks I have been to. From the food to the drink selection, everything was to die for. Entering the park was super easy and you can take the tunnel all the way to the entrance! Easy access from any part of town! The food selection was insane, everything from tenders, to tacos and poutine was available. Everything we tried was amazing! The Corona Deck was also a super cool addition and the drink were amazing. Only ballpark I've ever found a guava margarita and it was amazing! Definitely would recommend and that says a lot coming from a Yankees fan!

Rogers Centre underwent massive renovations starting in 2022 and completing in 2024. It was a little surreal for my bro and I as we attended a sunday Jays home game recently. Just remembering how it used to be called Skydome. We hadn't visited since prior to 2022 so to see the new venue renovations was cool. We sat out near the 3rd base side, around section 137. I think what Rogers did was flatten out the area around the field and elevate the ground very slightly to allow fans more of a "player level" type view. Very welcome change. I remember this was not the case with the old seats as they were quite high off the ground as soon as you were above 100 level. Now even 300 level seats can get decent level view of the field. There are a lot more food vendors scattered around the outer ring now. I wish they built more refillable water stations though. The pro shop is BUSTLING all the time. They have one official pro shop at one of the entrances and various stalls around the outer ring where you can purchase merch in case your seats are not close to the official pro shop which is convenient. Jays won the game which made the recent visit sweeter.

We went on Looney Dog Day (aka $1 hot dogs) and it was hilarious watching people stack up 6-10 at a time! The vibe was electric, everyone was so into the game, super friendly fans, and we loved sitting at the bar seats in the 100-level section after climbing the super steep steps up in the 500s. Between the team store and the buzz in the stadium, it was such a fun night out with our kiddo.

So I chase MLB Ballparks. This was my first trip to the Rogers Centre since 2006. There have been extensive renovations since my last visit. I saw a Blue Jays vs. Cubs game on a sold out Thursday 3:07 game. I purchased a GA ticket just to get inside and found a good place to stand on the left field line. I can't comment on the food, I had a good hot dog outside. I did have a beer inside which was a local option. It was cold and tasty. There seemed to be a lot of options, and plenty of large gathering places inside. Great environment to watch a game, electric crowd, very friendly employees, and plenty of pre/post-game options outside the park. Roof was open during my visit. I would definitely recommend going to a game here. It won't go up against the top tier parks, it is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful stadium, clean and really cool with the retractable dome. We went on a night where they kept the dome closed, which felt cool and unique! We ordered a hot dog which was reasonably priced and my bf quite enjoyed it. I'd recommend coming to enjoy a fun day out at the ballpark!

Recently went to the Jays game and tried some of their newer food option! The Hot Maple & Bacon Hot Dog is definitely worth the higher price point. It's different, and a good balance between sweet and savoury. The Jerk Chicken Nachos I would say are a bit on the stronger side in terms of the cilantro and onions. However, the Plantain Chips are a nice subtle touch!! Was a great ball game as usual and the atmosphere was great.

    The open dome! REALLY Cool.

The venue is massive and the retractable roof is so cool to watch! The stadium staff is as friendly or friendlier than any we've encountered. This Red Sox fan really likes the Blue Jays (now) and my Phillies fan family like them too!

Incredible experience at the Rogers Centre for a Blue Jays game this weekend, this stadium is beautiful and the view of the CN Tower from our seats just topped it off. There's plenty to do and eat inside of the stadium, apart from all the staff being so welcoming. A must visit in Toronto if possible, worth taking the time for any event.

It's crazy that I have never reviewed Rogers Centre. It's time! I reference two venues in Toronto by their original names. I keep saying Air Canada Centre instead of Scotiabank Arena. I also say SkyDome often and have to correct myself with Rogers Centre. You're going to read SkyDome a lot in this review. It is where I attended my first free concert and my first paid concert. In grade 12, my best friend was into Chalk Circle, a band from Newcastle, ON. They performed a free show on a Sunday at SkyDome. I tagged along. It was my first visit to the venue. Seeing the dome open was awesome! It does take some time for it to open and close. My first major concert was Madonna at SkyDome. It was a year after seeing Chalk Circle. I had an amazing time and started my ongoing love to attend concerts whenever I have a chance. I have seen a bunch of Blue Jays games over the years here. When the dome is open, I recommend wearing a hat and protecting yourself from the sun. I was a novice and definitely caught some sun on a hot summery day. The last Jays game that I saw was for a corporate event in 2006. I was the marketing person taking photos of our staff and guests for our Web site and marketing materials. It was a lot of fun, except that I didn't have a chance to take in the game. I couldn't tell you who the Argos played against. The Toronto Argonauts, our city's Canadian Football League (CFL) team, used to play at SkyDome. Whenever the Argos played the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, I'd take in the game. It was boring. Argos fans seem reserved compared to Bombers fans. I stopped going to them and ended up heading over to Hamilton. TiCat fans are similar to Bombers fans. Every game was exciting and fun to attend. The Argos play at BMO Field these days. Hopefully, it's more exciting over there. I recently returned to Rogers Centre to see Taylor Swift in concert. I went with a couple of friends. A lot of good improvements have occurred since I was last here. We entered through gate 11. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. All three of us did not bring bags or purses, so we went through security effortlessly. There were kiosks where we had to scan our ticket barcodes. The process was smooth. The merchandise lineups were long, but organized. There were vendors with trays of beer, popcorn, and fancy cocktail drinks as we waited in line. Drinks and food are expensive. You expect the price hike at such venues. I will say that food is much better at Rogers Centre than Scotiabank Arena. Mary Brown's! The hot dog that my friend got looked amazing. He enjoyed it. I saw waffle fries. I was happy. I got the most expensive Diet Coke at any concert venue in my life. Well, it did come in a collectable Taylor Swift-inspired cup for $15. I have been drinking out of that cup for over a week just to get my money's worth... haha! The seats were comfortable. We sat down at around 5:30 pm. The show ended past 11:30 pm. Mind you, we were standing for most of the show. It had cup holders and plenty of space for our legs. All three of us are tall, with my friend being the tallest at 6'2". We were all comfortable and happy seated. I like that Rogers Centre has hand railings on all stairways. I was pleased. Scotiabank Arena doesn't. The lineup for the women's washroom was long between Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift. Rogers Centre was smart to have trailer washrooms open. My other friend used it and let me know that it was clean. I used a regular washroom. It was also clean and the stalls were roomy. Gates and sections are clearly displayed on clear signs. I was happy. This venue is cashless. Credit and debit cards are accepted. I rarely park close to any major venue in Toronto. I learned that when I took in a concert at SkyDome. I couldn't leave the parking lot for an hour after the show. For the Taylor Swift concert, I parked in Chinatown and took the 510 Spadina bus south. I then walked briefly over to Rogers Centre. This method worked well. Buses ran often. I fetched my car at an affordable parking lot and had no problem leaving Chinatown to head home. I had a great experience. It was nice to be back. This concert experience at Rogers Centre has inspired me to go see more Blue Jays games next season. (457)

LOVE the Rogers Center. Came to Toronto to see the Blue Jays, and getting into the stadium was flawless. No lineups on a busy Sunday. Everything ran smoothly. Grab vibes in the crowd. Lots of food choices in the stadium (hot dogs, poutine, candy, beer, mary browns chicken, ice cream, ect), although very expensive. I really enjoyed my time here.

I saw the cultural phenomenon that is the Taylor Swift Eras Tour here at the Rogers Centre. For context, I'm a 28 year old straight male who is really not a Swifty. My mom just asked if I wanted to come as she had an extra ticket and I needed to see what the hype was all about. Admittedly, I do love some of her songs and generally appreciate good musicians so it wasn't like I didn't want to be there. Back to December is such a bop and I used to watch the You Belong with Me music video over and over again in middle school. Right off the bat, my mind was blown when we walked into the Rogers Centre. She was set to go on at 8, and there was not an open seat at 7:30. 40,000 seats, at capacity, for her SIXTH show in Toronto. SIXTH!?! In one city!?! I began to do the math when my sister-in-law informed me she had done over 150 sold out shows on this stadium tour. She saw my brain scrambling and said "She performs for over 3 hours too..." I just kind of laughed that off as I know she'd be rounding up from the likely 2 and a half hours she performs. No one is performing for 3 hours lol. Swift came out from under the big rainbow leaf thingies at 7:59pm to one of the loudest pops you've ever heard in your life. I look over at my Brother covering his ears looking at me like "wtf..." while my mom and sister in law are smiling from ear to ear screaming along to a song I didn't know. The collective energy in here was tangible. I stood there surrounded by sequin dresses, knee high sparkle boots, and homemade friendship bracelets as I took in the surroundings: Girls of every age between 6 and 70 belting the lyrics and crying to certain tracks, chatter of what the "surprise songs" will be, and a handful of supportive boyfriends clearly dragged along. I really wasn't a part of the collective energy until she ran off the craziest 4 track run: You Belong with Me, Love Story, 22, and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. I was deadass a Swifty for those 4 tracks. I was screaming "SHE WEARS HIGH HEELS, I WEAR SNEAKERS, SHE'S CHEER CAPTAIN AND I'M ON THE BLEACHERS!" Such a bar damn. Although she was saying this while in Louboutin Red Bottom high heels lmao. She performed until 11:27 pm, leaving the stage for no more than a minute for one of her 16 outfit changes. That is 3 hours and 28 minutes of putting her heart and soul into this performance. She is gangster for that. Highkey an ATHLETE. Some Kobe level work ethic. Even her biggest fans sat down for certain portions, as there's no shot they're used to being on their feet for that long. However, much to my immortal chagrin, she performed for that long and didn't sing Back to December. Pain, pain everywhere. This has got to be the best set production I've seen, dare I say, since Kanye's Yeezus Tour. The LED stage and wall is synced up with every one of Swift's movements, fire cannons and indoor fireworks come out of nowhere, the outfit changes for each individual era, and the attention to detail of Swift knowing exactly when the camera is close up on her face is beyond impressive. I felt like I was watching a feature film, and she was acting her ass off. I left the Rogers Centre thinking, "Wow, she must have the craziest god complex." 150+ sold out stadium shows of people there to just see 1 person. It's not a team or anything, they are literally just there to see her. There is no way that can't mess with your head. How could you not have at least a little bit of a god complex? The word cult sounds aggressive, but if we are going off the definition of "a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object," then this is definitely a cult. This thought path led me down a rabbit hole. In doing my research for this review, I realized we don't know anything more about Taylor Swift than she wants us to know. I'm sure if you're a Swifty you'll tear me apart for that statement, but I'mma stand on that. Every interview she does, she and her team have final cut. You'll probably say oh she gives us everything in the music, but it can't get more curated than that. Just like this tour, everything about her is hyper-curated. I left craving to see Taylor Swift on the Joe Rogan Podcast, or any long form interview that she doesn't have final cut on. That would be SO lit. Imagine the numbers that would do... my god. I'm so curious to see what she is really like as a human being. I wonder if she even knows who she is at this point. I understand that this would never happen as she doesn't need it AT ALL, but how funny would it be to see her reaction when Joe asks her what she thinks of the tic tac UFO Navy Commander David Fravor saw back in 2004. I left impressed and inspired, but so curious as to what she is like behind the curtain of this hyper-curated image she has created. But I guess we'll never know. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Ok, Blue Jay fans have a very cool stadium. The Rogers Banner Club was nice and the best part about it, is the live player batting cage. You see players warming up taking swings... cool AF! The amenities are good and club service was easy and fast. Ordered food and beer from my seat, and in less than 10 minutes I was munching & sippin'. A must go to when in Toronto.

The arena itself is right in the heart of downtown, so the whole area around it already feels super alive before you even walk in. There's people everywhere, jerseys, food spots nearby, and just that pre-game energy that makes it so fun. Inside, it was packed but in a good way, like full energy, loud, exciting, everyone already hyped before tip-off. I had seats in the 300 level and honestly I don't even think that's a bad thing at all. The view from up there is actually really solid, you can see the whole court properly and the energy from the crowd feels even more spread out and intense. Service-wise, everything was pretty organized. It was busy, so lines and movement around the concourse can get a bit crowded at times, but nothing unexpected for a Raptors game night. Once you're settled in your seat though, it's smooth and you can just focus on the game. Overall, I'd 100% recommend going at least once if you're in Toronto. It's not just about basketball, it's the full experience: the crowd, the energy, the location, and just being part of that atmosphere. Even from the 300s, it still feels like a really good seat. Definitely one of those experiences that's way more fun in person than on TV.

Maybe in Canada as well but I'm not confident enough to aver that. As for the the spectator experience, sure the seats (bleachers) are only a few years old and well maintained but it's nothing close to the full fledged stadiums you see to the south or even in most other Canadian cities and that itself almost tells you that the University has no real expectations for the student population to come out in in full force supporting the Blues. The ice rink while better in comparison to the football stadium is still not impressive and looks like it could do with some renovations as well including the teams changing/locker rooms. An upside to the stadium's layout is that half of it is open to public viewing from Devonshire and as a result you can just happen to catch a game or meet for free (although if you are a student it's free either way). A few years ago they hosted some meet here and Usain Bolt was a participant and sure enough he bought in a huge gathering of supporters that lined the entire fence. Something I've yet to see any University team accomplish. So if you have a friend in the football or cheer leading squad, it's worth the trip to go and see them or even if you are a fan of football, but as for visiting the location for itself, there's nothing too impressive to see here.

It is the home of the Toronto Argonauts (Canadian Football League) and Toronto FC (Football (soccer) Club). I have seen all Argos games at SkyDome or Rogers Centre, depending on when the name change occurred. I have yet to see a Toronto FC game. My spin? Although BMO Field isn't a concert venue, the first and only concert that was held here was Genesis on September 7, 2007. I was there. It holds a special place in my heart. It was a fantastic concert. I don't know why it hasn't hosted more concerts. I was comfortable at this concert. Concession stands were everywhere. The prices were a bit expensive back then, but you expect that to be the case at any major entertainment event. The washrooms were clean and accessible. These days, I'm normally around the area to park. I remember seeing Erasure at Queen Elizabeth Theatre a few years back, which is across from BMO Field. I parked near gate 4. It was affordable and a fairly close walk over to the theatre on a soggy, rainy evening. I haven't seen any CFL games recently. I should, as I miss seeing all CFL action in a stadium. I'll need to give it a try at BMO Field in the upcoming Argos season. (127)
