As with many of my reviews, I do have a different spin. Here's mine with this stadium. BMO Field is where the old Exhibition Stadium used to be. BMO Field was established in 2007. It is the home of the Toronto Argonauts (Canadian Football League) and Toronto FC (Football (soccer) Club). I have seen all Argos games at SkyDome or Rogers Centre, depending on when the name change occurred. I have yet to see a Toronto FC game. My spin? Although BMO Field isn't a concert venue, the first and only concert that was held here was Genesis on September 7, 2007. I was there. It holds a special place in my heart. It was a fantastic concert. I don't know why it hasn't hosted more concerts. I was comfortable at this concert. Concession stands were everywhere. The prices were a bit expensive back then, but you expect that to be the case at any major entertainment event. The washrooms were clean and accessible. These days, I'm normally around the area to park. I remember seeing Erasure at Queen Elizabeth Theatre a few years back, which is across from BMO Field. I parked near gate 4. It was affordable and a fairly close walk over to the theatre on a soggy, rainy evening. I haven't seen any CFL games recently. I should, as I miss seeing all CFL action in a stadium. I'll need to give it a try at BMO Field in the upcoming Argos season. (127)

There's not a lot to this stadium. The shops aren't very well developed, and the food options are…read morelimited. There is a water fountain near the entrance: the trick is to twist the spout around 180 degrees so you can fill your water bottle. But, put it back so you don't just have water splashing onto the floor by those not expecting that. The one thing that you want to pay attention to is the side you sit on. If there's an afternoon game, and you're on the east side... well, the sun sets in the west, so that sun is directly on you. And it gets hot. Very very hot. Also, make sure you have a clear bag if you want to take anything in... It's not the worst stadium, and when you're in your seats it looks great, but it doesn't have a lot to offer.

Went to see NKOTB. The show itself was great. Traffic to the venue was HORRIBLE. We missed DJ Jazzy…read moreJeff but made it right on time for Paula Abdul. They were so entertaining. It was my second time seeing NKOTB and first for Paula. We had a great time. The venue could have used police presence and traffic control especially after the show. Ubers and Taxis were literally blocking lanes of traffic making walking (crossing the street) and driving very unsafe. They (taxis/Ubers) left their illegally parked cars on the street and were walking around asking event attendees if they needed an Uber. They were also making erratic u-turns. We didn't see ANY police or traffic control. It was bad. The crowd was crazy inside for the food/drink and merch lines as it usually is for concerts, but we ate before going so we didn't buy anything. I went to the merch line after the show and the line went really quick. I got lucky and the merch I wanted was still available in our sizes. Also, we came to Toronto from California for this show. I wish there was more signage especially on the freeway for the Budweiser Stage. We didn't see any, but saw signage for other venues. We were using Google Maps so we ended up being fine. Would I go back to the Budweiser Stage? Maybe.

SIAL Canada, a food expo, was held 4/29-5/1 at the Enercare Centre…read more The venue is well lit and has many conference rooms, ample restrooms, and waste receptacles with recycling sections. Several grab and go food and beverage kiosks were also available. If you are ever an exhibitor, check which Hall your program is in. Our ride app driver dropped us off at D, and we had a trek with our exhibit materials to Hall B! However, that area is great if you are using wheelchairs or have other needs. There is an elevator to the exhibit hall floors from the parking and street areas. This was a nice venue and the staff are all personable and professional!

Fun family splurge, if a bit hokey. :)…read more - Parking was confusing - Bummed that the exterior wasn't shaped like a castle, like other locations (not a big deal, but you should know) - The two entrance lines should be clearly marked before the doors open for VIP/non-VIP. The red mat on the floor isn't obvious. - Frozen drinks at the lobby bar are surprisingly good/well-spiked (you can also get them alcohol-free for the kids) - Souvenir clothing items are decently priced - Be sure to see the horses when you first walk in. They're taken out of their stalls pretty quickly after you're inside. - Museum of torture got to be too much for me about 2/3 of the way through (I can be sensitive to graphic stuff, and made the mistake of reading all the placards). Had to abandon. - Condition of the restrooms (specifically the floors) was unforgivable. This was true of all restrooms, multiple times through the evening. - Couldn't follow the story line during the performance, but it didn't really matter. :) - Performers were excellent and COMMITTED, and our server (Kat) was wonderful. - Food was way better than expected! - Combat impressed even my 12 & 13 year olds. Sparks! Splinters! Awesome. - If you can't be silly, don't come. Let loose. Cheer! Boo! - I find dressage (making horses dance and bow) really unnatural and a bit upsetting. It feels forced and looks uncomfortable to me, so I never like those parts - and there are a lot. Just be aware. (And know that you may have to explain why they're whipping a horse to your young child.) - Overall we had an awesome time. We hooted and hollered and made memories. Thanks, Medieval Times!

First time coming here…read more Show was about 2 hours total. First hour or so was a bit boring and the second half was more entertaining with the knights fighting each other. It was all staged but still felt fun and good to do once. The food is included in the show and you shouldn't expect much. You get tomato soup, garlic bread, half chicken, potato, corn, dessert, and a drink. The chicken itself was pretty under-seasoned and very dry. The soup and bread were decent. We got tea at the end and it tasted like water. Overall it's a fun show to do and see once but don't expect good food

I was a little torn on who I should cheer for because I was born in Toronto and went to Blue Jays games as a kid but I have also been a Minnesotan for 2 decades. It was great being at the game - fun atmosphere and good food & drinks selection. Glad that we decided to get last minute tickets to go to the game and thankful that we were staying at a hotel right down the street from Roger Centre for my work trip.

The arena itself is right in the heart of downtown, so the whole area around it already feels super alive before you even walk in. There's people everywhere, jerseys, food spots nearby, and just that pre-game energy that makes it so fun. Inside, it was packed but in a good way, like full energy, loud, exciting, everyone already hyped before tip-off. I had seats in the 300 level and honestly I don't even think that's a bad thing at all. The view from up there is actually really solid, you can see the whole court properly and the energy from the crowd feels even more spread out and intense. Service-wise, everything was pretty organized. It was busy, so lines and movement around the concourse can get a bit crowded at times, but nothing unexpected for a Raptors game night. Once you're settled in your seat though, it's smooth and you can just focus on the game. Overall, I'd 100% recommend going at least once if you're in Toronto. It's not just about basketball, it's the full experience: the crowd, the energy, the location, and just being part of that atmosphere. Even from the 300s, it still feels like a really good seat. Definitely one of those experiences that's way more fun in person than on TV.

The Argos (Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrgooooosss) have lifted up the League Championship Grey Cup trophy 16 times, and have appeared in the big game a total of 22 times. Late comedian and actor John Candy was once a minority owner of this team, as was Hockey Legend and Hall of Famer Wayne Gretzky. The team has played on various home fields but now shares a field (BMO Field) with the Toronto Futbol Club of the MLS.

Bought a ticket to the Dream Theater 40th anniversary show, I knew what I signed up for, a week before the show, the venue with pizza pizza, ran a promotion for a ticket at almost 80% off from the seated rows, and trust me, I was in the last row of seats for the whole building. S O U R ($11.11 plus TM fee's) To add insult to injury once I got into the building and getting to my seat, it was uncomfortably hot, sitting, listening to the band play, to the point where I was sweating bullets. in intermission I went to the bathroom, literally walking from one side of the arena to the other side of the arena, and the bathroom side of the arena was at least 5 degrees colder, with AC on, I know this building has been around forever, and was in the middle of a season change, but half and half is just a battle and a waste of energy and resources. The new metal detectors are really rad, not sure how much they cost, but man if you need a metal detector, this upgrade is so slick, zero body contact and zero harassment. Being tied to a go-station and TTC loop is very beneficial, as parking on the CNE grounds is $35+ at the time of writing and will for sure get much worse, as space in this area is going to be swallowed up shortly. (but who cares about parking if you didnt pay full price for a ticket?)

Well organized and the Different than a regular season sport event and interestingly different. Theres also a few food vendors in the area and connects to the adjacent exhibit spaces.
