We had an amazing time on our 1hr tour of the cave. Great guide. They give wetsuits to keep you warm. Note, this is the lasssssttttt cenote on the trial of this location. Once you get of the Main Street, it's another 15min drive in to get to this place. You will pass 10 other cenotes to get to this one, but they are connected so this might be the better option. Great experience.

This cenote was amazing. Beautiful and felt magical. Let me warn you though- IT IS FREEZING. I was shivering throughout our snorkel, but it was so cool to see and experience that it made it worth it. We were able to come here actually on a tour (I wish I knew the name of the company, but our hotel in tulum organized it). It wasn't crowded at all, and you can rent gear and life vests on site. However, I wouldn't recommend coming here without a guide. If you want to explore the entire cenote, you need a guide, with a flash light, that knows how to get around inside here and where to go. You can very easily get lost in here and I know people have drowned, which is sad but it was because they weren't prepared. Our guide actually turned his flashlight off at one point to show us just how dark it gets in there and WOW. I knew I was safe but it still scared the shit out of me. When you have a guide, they will take you to the natural "mud bath" and also show you the bones (said to be deer bones) that are at the bottom of one part of the cenote. There are also lots of bats flying around over head! I would highly recommend coming here rather then one of the other more popular cenotes, but again, make sure you have a guide, it's worth the price and experience!

Sac Actun is incredible. 1st... call ahead. 2nd... you don't need to stop at the Dos Ojos main gate. Just tell them you're heading straight to Sac Actun. It's a bit of a drive from the main gate, but worth it. Oh... no sunscreens. If you are going don't put any on; you will be underground so you won't need any. You will need to take the guided tour to see the cenote. I am not normally a guide fan, but this was good. The cenote is a maze and even with a guide I got disoriented. If you are really caulstrophobic, this might not be the place for you. That being said, I am claustrophobic and I was lost in the beauty and never worried. One person in our group did and had to wait while we continued. They are really trying to capture the natural beauty of the cenote and its surrounding environment. The caves are well lit, until they turn out the lights (if you want to see that area and you do). There were bats, but they were cute. The water is cool, but not bad. They have beautiful grounds. It is a good place to have a picnic or a bite if you remember to bring out food.

Sac Actun- The cenote you need to see!! For my first trip to Tulum, I wanted to experience the best Tulum had to offer. I read a few reviews and even asked locals before deciding Sac Actun would meet my needs: great reviews, not as crowded as the other cenotes, and lower cost. We passed many cenotes on the way to Sac Actun, and after being there I'm so glad we didn't settle for a closer, convenient cenote. Sac Actun- offered wet suits which I recommend as the water was chilly. They also had underwater cameras if you would like to rent one and keep the SD card. They provided free life jackets, snorkels and goggles with the excursion price. Ok- now to the good stuff- Our tour guide was Luis! Luis had us saying Geez, Luis!! He stunned us with his history lessons, comedic act, and friendly demeanor. He confidently led us through the cenote which was breath taking. I can't even explain how cool it is to be in this underwater cave exploring like your in an Indiana Jones movie- It was magical. We had to shimmy through tight crevices and dodge hanging stalactites. The surroundings of living history and bats is truly indescribable. Due to it being slow season we had the opportunity to explore parts of cenote that were harder to explore with larger groups and I felt like we had the VIP tour. I definitely would recommend going to Sac Actun! I also would make sure you take Luis along with you!! Thank you to the staff for making our memories in Tulum awesome!

This was my first time with boat entry, open water warm dives, and I had the best time! The entire experience was great. Service: As this was part of a solo travel for me, I was in communication with the dive shop via WhatsApp to make sure that I was fully prepared. I felt very comfortable the entire time, and everything was explained clearly. All materials and great were prepped and ready for me upon arrival, and all staff members that I was interacting with were kind and welcoming. Experience: We did two dives, and had some discussion on the boat as to what we most wanted to see, to help determine the locations that we would travel to. We settled on Palancar Bricks for the first dive, and La Francesa for the second. There were 7 divers with 3 dive masters, so despite being a solo traveler, I felt like I had a ton of support. The overview of the dive sites before entry was great, because it primed me for some of the aquatic life that we would see. As my first warm water and coral reef dive, I can say that scuba diving is one of the great privileges of my life--I was overcome with emotion at seeing so much! Schools of small (young) fishes, corals, large organisms, sponges, nurse sharks, barracuda, a seahorse, a cozumel toad fish, giant parrot fish, and so many more! Special thanks to Captain Mono, Jorge, Juan, and Javi who led our trip. If I ever have the fortune of returning to Cozumel, I will absolutely return for more trips!

The guides were incredible, and diver to dive master ratio was 2.5 to 1, and best of all, they had parkas on board to keep us all warm. This was one of the nicest dive shops based on service, limiting the group to a small size, and the extra things they did for comfort. I highly recommend Scuba Life Cozumel - 10/10!

I swam for about an hour or so and when i got back to my car, all the doors were unlocked when i was 100% sure i locked all of them them. I'm not the only person this happened to. I spoke to other tourist that afternoon and the same thing happened to them. They broke into another person's trunk and stole their belongings. Luckily it was only my cell phone in the glove compartment that was stolen. This place is a trap for tourist. Please if you're planning to go, don't leave anything in the car. I also did some research and noticed it happened to others in the past so please go somewhere safer unless you want your car to get vandalized! And I get that you have to be a smart traveler. Trust me, your car will get damaged and you can't even call the police. Even the car rental lady told me that the cops will try to get a bribe from you so make sure you hold your phone camera up and record him!! You can't win!
