This cenote is relatively small compared to the other cenotes, but it is very pretty! We located it on google maps, it was a short 5-10min drive from downtown Tulum. The entrance fee was $250 pesos ($12.5 USD) so no need to book a tour/company. It is VERY deep, so it is perfect for diving, jumping, and swimming. They also rent out life vests for those who need it. My favorite thing about this particular cenote in comparison to most is that they have beach chairs available for the guests.

Great cenote but be aware of the crowds. It seems to be a great spot for that perfect Instagram pic, so keep that in mind with the crowds. I did like how they have it set up for drinks and to hang. That was fun.

Water was so refreshing. Deep enough to jump into and really clear. Little baby fish in the water.

This was a really fun experience. I'm so happy that my fiancé and I were able to come here. I would definitely recommend bringing mosquito spray. Otherwise, it's definitely a great place. You can walk to the cenote and bring cameras!!

In May 2023, 6 of us were registered to go on the Southern Sport charter to Socorro through Ko'ox. We had *each* paid $5000 for the trip in advance. We boarded the boat Southern Sport (which was a dump, btw) and, after 24 hours, never left port because the boat had a mechanical issue. Because the operator canceled the trip, travel insurance did not cover the situation. Chucho, the owner, who was with us on the trip, promised us all that he would refund our money and make it right. "Just trust me." We had no choice, so I did. Chucho and his colleague Andrea promised they would pay on a payment plan over 8-10 months (no interest, but at least I'd get my money back). I agreed. I receive a payment in October and one in November. In December, Chucho asked if he could half it (claiming hardship) and wait a few weeks to receive it. Then he ghosted me - simply stopped answering and stopped paying. I am still ~$4,000 and the others are out their full $5000. Keeping our money was unethical and illegal. They got away with it with us -- don't let them get away with it with you as well.

This is a spectacular dive operation!…read more I spent 3 days in the water with them and, aside from the nicest facility I've been to in ages, the crew of guides, instructors, and office peeps made this an incredibly easy, enjoyable, and comprehensive dive adventure. Most importantly, though, my small group had incredibly varied SCUBA experience and their team got everyone diving in a way best for them. I'm already planning a return visit. Never rushed. Never unsafe. Never pushed beyond your skill level... I cannot say enough nice things about this PADI 5-Star operation.

Infinity2diving is one of the more expensive dive shops in tulum. Which we are ok with as people…read morewho love to spend on vacation :) usually with a greater price one can expect a higher bar of customer service. Unfortunately that was not the case. The manager was somewhat dishonest and deceptive, although we take some ownership over not being careful enough. But we'll let you be the judge. Looking through these reviews we may be an isolated incident (or maybe it's changed) but for those who have high expectations for a dive shop who pay more, I would encourage you to think twice. The managers technique is keep everything ambiguous, and bait and switch... The dive we booked was 1 dive: "CENOTE OF YOUR CHOICE" the your choice part was important to us as people who've been to tulum once to twice a year for the past decade. We signed up paid our deposit which was non refundable. After we signed up we were notified that it was slightly over a year since our last dive (13 months) and therefore they offered a "free refresher course at casa cenote". Having signed up for a "cenote of your choice", we were under the impression that the refresher course was at casa, and we would go to a cenote of "our choice" since that was wait we paid for. When we got there it was clear that we didn't have a choice and we had to go to casa, which has had cases of E. coli and has a bad mosquito problem (much worse than other dive locations). After talking with the manager, who was nice but we felt a bit gaslit as what we signed up for. After much back and forth I just decided to proceed with casa (which was told as the ONLY choice, despite having paid for our choice), even though that would've been our last choice. Now the deception didn't end there. Having called a "free refresher course" you would've thought it was a refresher course tied to a real dive. Now it was 15 minutes of skills learning and maybe 10-15 minutes of actual diving. We didn't stop to admire any of the wildlife it was very in/out. Also in the email it says lunch will be served but there was no lunch (not that we were hungry but just calling them out for their shady email tactics of "we told you this over email") We really felt bait and switched bc we don't understand how you can advertise it as a free refresher course because it implies it's attached to something else but it wasn't. the entire thing was the course.... You live and you learn!! Two stars instead of one because we could've been more careful and asked more questions before we got there. Lesson learned!

Overall - one of the best experiences of my life. I'm planning to go back and do it again. Over 2…read moredays I dove: Dos Ojos (2 routes), Angelita, Car Wash, and The Pit. I dove with Martino on day 1 for Dos Ojos and the Pit, and an Argentinian guy whose name i don't see on the website anymore for Angelita and Car Wash - but he was the absolute best. In terms of dives: Dos Ojos was not great - but that's relative. Once you've done Angelita, Car Wash, and The Pit - you're going to be so in sheer awe of their beauty that Dos Ojos will seem mediocre. If a god existed, he would live somewhere like this. Logistics: be prepared to wait around the dive shop in the heat beforehand, and at the dive sites for surface intervals which is not great. You'll probably ride with the Dive Masters in their cars. And I think I had to pay additional fees beyond what was advertised to get into a few of the cenotes. The biggest grievance was having to pay to bring your camera in... If i recall correctly it was free to take my GoPro, but had to pay $30 to bring my Olympus TG7 which is basically a compact camera like a GoPro. This is not on the dive shop though - it's the cenote owners. Advanced vs OW: You need advanced or equivalent cert to do Angelita, Car Wash and the Pit. This was a bummer for my friend who is an experienced diver but just never got the cert - plan ahead!

We were with Nicolas who really made the effort to keep you calm and get in the right mood and mind space to do something very new and be able to enjoy it as a group together. He made it very clear that we had plenty of time to take each step for as long as we need and not to jump into anything because of pressure or time restrictions. By the time we were in the water, we all felt ready to go down. Before venturing off along Casa cenote, we all one by one practiced the skill sets we learned while now being underwater to make sure everyone was still comfortable and knew what they were doing. It was smooth sailing the whole time. We saw incredible views, and it felt so epic to be in Casa cenote. Diving for about 45min, it felt like the perfect length of time. I ABSOLUTELY recommend you choose them for your diving experience in Tulum. I will happily return for more underwater adventure next time I visit :)

When I arrived the next morning I was told they were running just a little late and was taken next door for a complimentary coffee while I waited a few minutes. Frederico was my dive master. He was a great dive master and also was a wealth of knowledge about the local area. What really put Scuba Tulum over the top was when I went back the following day to ask for recommendations on where to watch some American football games. I was given some great recommendations and had an enjoyable time watching the games. They really went above and beyond. Thank you Scuba Tulum!!!

Now for the downsides: 1) I asked in my emails if this is PADI shop & I was led to believe it is. It is not. The owner is a PADI instructor, however, he couldn't get certification for his shop. We found this out after our reef dives 2) Our dive master for the reef dives seemed very inexperienced & no familiar with the area. He swam very fast, didn't wait for the group - there were only 5 of us. We did not have any time to linger and explore for the small things. He was very interested in finding big fish, which there were very few. He also went into several dark caves in the coral which were dead ends and we ended up having to turn around and come back out. 3) When gearing up my dive buddy & I always do a safety check. He told us not to touch our stuff - this felt really unsafe and several of us ended up having some issues - not enough weights was the biggest problem because he literally argued with us that we didn't need as much weight as we said. 4) We had 5 divers and 4 snorkelers - they took us out on a boat that barely held the people and equipment. No orientation to the boat, where are life jackets, etc. No water on the boat for us to drink. 5) The website says $55USD for cenote snorkel that inclues lunch and cenote fees - both the divers and snorkelers had to pay our cenote entrance fees and there was no lunch. They had bananas and water. 6) On the 1st day they were late picking us up so we stressed that on the 2nd day we had to be back at our house by 1:30 as someone was arriving from the airport. On the 2nd day they arrived 30 minutes late and I missed the 2nd cenote dive because I had to go back to the house to meet the person. I was still charged the full price even though it was their fault I missed that dive. 7) Finally, they were supposed to bring a credit card machine on the last day so we could pay. They forgot it. The owner randomly showed up at the back door late one evening without warning. We are a group of women and that was a very uncomfortable feeling. He should have used the front door and notified us (he has our phone number and emails) of when he was going to show up. The waters off of tulum are gorgeous - clear, colorful, lots of sealife. The biggest reason I could not recommend this shop is because they are misleading in that they are not PADI certified.
