I got the Carolina Tangy BBQ and then I tried one of his Jerk Wings (which took entirely too long to come out . Felt like it was seasoned on the spot. Ate my wings slowly and finished our drinks before they came out). Carolina bbq wings were FIRE. Cooked perfectly, tasty sauce and it was great sauce to wing ratio. The jerk wings were pretty good too. I'd order them next time now that I know about the length of time it takes. The French fries were perfect as well honestly. Ordered some churros and they were a 4/5; just a little too crunchy but I enjoyed. My first drink was strong but I ordered a Long Island second and it was pretty blah. Service was okay. My server was kind of blah but she got the job done and was constantly around in case we needed anything. Ambiance was great. Really good place to watch the games with your friends. Lots of TVs.

We ordered the teriyaki wings with extra sauce, and they were really disappointing. The sauce tasted like straight soy sauce, very thin and salty, with none of the sweetness or depth you'd expect. No hint of garlic, honey, or ginger, and the wings themselves were dry. We also tried the grilled chicken club, which was also dry and pretty forgettable. The shoestring fries were hard, and the sweet potato fries weren't anything special, especially for the price of $8. It's a bummer to say, but we've decided to take this place off our revisit list. Sad to see a former favorite slip because of what felt like a lack of care coming out of the kitchen.

They had some chill 80s rock/pop playing at a reasonable volume. Food was good. My wife had a burger. I had a French Dip roast beef sandwich. My son had chicken fingers. All yummers. This was the second time I've been here. My wife multiple. My son's first. lol. We will definitely be going back again. Two thumbs up!

Glad my friends took me here! It's very easy to miss this place. Right off of Metropolitan Avenue down 88th Street. If you didn't know about it already, you definitely wouldn't know it's there. The Q54 is just a few steps away. The space is HUGE! Really massive pub with a charming feel. They have different live music acts there most weekends. Check their social media to see who is playing in advance. Service is extremely attentive and friendly. The actual bar wraps around the front in a U shape. Plenty of room anywhere you go. So spacious. The music acts have a dedicated space on the left side when you first enter. Lots of booth and table seating in the front. The back was so immense. Lots of t.v.'s all over playing sports. You can tell lots of locals and regulars patronize this pub. Thr zucchini and mozzarella sticks were good. Most likely frozen but they were still yummy. For my entree I had the fish and chips for $20. The tartar sauce and batter on the fish was delicious. The lettuce and tomato on the plate was just an afterthought. The fries were kind of dry, but I loved that they gave me malt vinegar to go with them. They know what they're doing! They offer a wide variety of dishes. They have a sandwich board that they bring around to every table with the daily specials written on it. They do offer desserts but you have to ask what's available since they're not listed on the menu. I had the molten lava cake. It was my favorite part of the meal. Warm, gooey and tasty. Really hit the spot. When the bands start playing the vibe is just so fun and chill. I had a great time. Hope to come back soon!

Like I said, this is the place for the reunion. I'm not huge on this type of bar. Not that I don't like them, it's just not my usual go-to. That said, I honestly look forward to coming here every single year. The staff is great, the beer selection is perfect and the food isn't just your typical bar offerings. Sure, you can get wings and mozz sticks, but even the salads are excellent. I can't say that I'd recommend the salad at most bars, but Connolly's is the exception. Ok, I didn't have the salad, but my wife did and she was impressed. Aside from all this, the ambiance is good, the vibe is good, and it's just comfortable. None of the usual busted chairs or sticky table tops. Although I don't live very close, it's a place I'd def recommend if you're in the area.

Service is attentive, friendly & fast enough. They cook their burgers exactly as requested: we had one medium & one well done with both cooked spot-on. They have a great selection of customization for their burgers. Both the fries & sweet potato fries were done right. Try the spice dusted shrimp & corn appetizer, it's out of this world! This time we tried the stuffed mushroom special, which was very good. Their salads are generously portioned, fresh & delicious. The blackened chicken is particularly great!

It had a pretty raunchy feel with an older crowd, sitting somewhere between a pub and a dive bar. The door was broken and the cups by the water looked dirty. I wouldn't even bother with the popcorn machine... This is all just my observations. The only decent thing this place had going was the cheap drinks. After buying a drink, you're given a 'chip' that can be redeemed for a free one, which is an interesting concept... Still, overall it just wasn't my vibe...

The place is really small with limited seating inside as well as enclosed outdoor seating and tables/stools along the outside. Such a diverse crowd! They have 2 entrances. One the side and the front. It was way too busy inside so we chose to sit in the covered outdoor section. If you do that, be prepared for a lot of smoke and pigeon feathers flying around! We were okay with that! When you order a drink here, you get a wooden token which will get you your next drink free! This happened the entire time we were there. We had a total of 4 drinks each with 2 of them each being free! That will definitely have me coming back for more. There's no other place that does that. No jukebox, but the music they played was decent. Total dive bar atmosphere. Service was fine. Love the free popcorn with fixings station. Fresh hot popcorn with Old Bay is delicious with a nice, cold drink. All you can eat of it, too. Although I saw 1 patron go up 10 times for it! Talk about overkill. They serve hot dogs for a buck as well! Now the bathroom was pretty gross. Hardly any light. Stinky and no place to dry your hands. Did I expect a 4 star bathroom experience here? Absolutely not, but give me a working hand dryer or paper towel please. The shocker of the night was when I closed out my tab. For those 4 drinks we got charged for, it came out to $13.50! Uhh....what?! That's insane. Cheapest happy hour drinks ever. Did I get a headache from the well liquor they used for these drinks? Definitely. Was it worth it for that price. You know it! I'll be back.
