As far as I could tell, they did a good job. I have no complaints about their workmanship and price. I was referred to them and due to their relationship
with the person who referred me, they lowered their price by $700. The originally quoted me lower, but after the work was completed, they said they had no recollection of the lower quote. No problem. Before they did the work, I asked if they accepted credit cards. They did. My PNC card with 18k available got denied. I called PNC with Celtic on the line and PNC said nothing was ever run through. PNC said they denied nothing. Then Celtic ran my Discover. Denied. My AMEX. Denied. These are all cards that I was currently using and had zero or minimal balances. Celtic went to the person who referred me (my daughter's cousin) and somehow got him to pay, so I then owed the guy CASH!!! After talking to several retailers, I think it was (allegedly) a scam. They didn't want to lower their profit margin with credit card fees so they kept allegedly lying and saying my cards were declined. AMEX also confirmed that there were no record of my card being run through the system. BTW, my daughter's cousin's harassed me for weeks staying he didn't get the $2500 I sent him through Cashapp (I sent the first 2500 via Zelle). No matter what proof I showed him, he wanted me to send him another 2500!!! I told him I'd have to get the police involved and the next day, he "found" the money and apologized. I don't have proof but I wonder if they were all in this together. No one's card gets declined and the credit card company has no record of it even been sent through the system! Lastly, the same day my PNC got "turned down" by Celtic, $5,000 was approved for a new furnace by another contractor. Zero issues with that transaction. I don't trust Celtic!! Just pay cash!! read more
