The phone had been working just fine, and I only wanted to be proactive in getting it fixed. Fast-forward three days after their repair, and the same lens is cracked again, despite no drops, bumps, or accidents. I took it back, assuming a business with "CPR" in the name might stand by their work. Wrong. They claimed the crack was due to a "puncture" and refused to honor their warranty, even though I had done absolutely nothing to cause damage. I asked what good a warranty is if it doesn't cover a repair that clearly didn't hold up, and they basically shrugged it off. Honestly, I would have been better off keeping the original, lightly cracked lens than paying for a replacement that failed within days. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. I wouldn't trust this place with a phone case, let alone a repair.

He was thorough and told me the cost before I committed to the service. He got the work done in 35 minutes. The work performed solved my problem. The price was a tad more expensive than other places. I appreciate that they were open, without appointment, on a Sunday afternoon. My only real complaint is that there is no place to wait inside this large store. It seems they don't want you hanging around to wait on the service to be completed.

This is the second experience with uBreak. The store is small but does have two seats to wait on…read moreservice to get with you or to be completed. The on line scheduling process was easy to use. Each time I showed up early the attendant got me started without waiting. The attendant was as friendly as a technician type person could be. During my first time...the attendant sized up my Xbox problem and gave me wise advice. I decided not to have them fix the issue as it wasn't worth the cost. On this occasion...my problem was easy. I needed a battery changed on my iPhone. When I got there they didn't have a battery to replace it with. This despite knowing three days in advance that they needed one for this model. Then I hit a text an hour before my appointment reminding me to come in...to replace the battery I need that they didn't have. So..they wanted my time. Though they offered to order the battery and fix the phone in four additional days. The good news is they gave my a referral to store they solved my problem the same day.

So I went online and set an appointment for the weekend to see what they could do. I have used Geek squad services (at least the ones down in Miami) ever since High School. They have added memory to my computer, helped me recover files on a busted external hard drive, and so many other different things over the years. When you walk in, they have a tv prominently displaying those who have appointment and when you would be seen. I was happy to see that my appointment was taken and that i did not have much time to wait at all. So i start talking to the Geek Squad tech and he advised that they do not perform repairs of apple products in house, they have to ship it to Apple for repair. He said that due to the age of the device that obviously I am our of warranty. He then described the cost for Apple just to check what the issue is. He said any repairs would be over that amount. He then advised that technically, the cost for just diagnosis was the cost of this current older model alone. I thanked him for his honesty, and said I would just buy a new apple ipad. Only reason why this isnt 5 stars is because I wish that they did apple device repair in house.

Both told me to be at the store 1 hour before closing so they could program my new key. I took my wife's vehicle today to work because this was the only day she didn't need it. I was able to get off of work early and was at their location exactly 1 hour and 5 minutes before they closed. Taylor informed me that he was unwilling to do it because it would take him until closing time. I asked him what he would be doing for the whole hour and he replied "my job". Clearly not. I don't appreciate being lied to. Many other trespasses I can overlook, but being lied to deserves a review. If Integrity matters to whomever is reading this, I would suggest going elsewhere for your needs.
