So I went online and set an appointment for the weekend to see what they could do. I have used Geek squad services (at least the ones down in Miami) ever since High School. They have added memory to my computer, helped me recover files on a busted external hard drive, and so many other different things over the years. When you walk in, they have a tv prominently displaying those who have appointment and when you would be seen. I was happy to see that my appointment was taken and that i did not have much time to wait at all. So i start talking to the Geek Squad tech and he advised that they do not perform repairs of apple products in house, they have to ship it to Apple for repair. He said that due to the age of the device that obviously I am our of warranty. He then described the cost for Apple just to check what the issue is. He said any repairs would be over that amount. He then advised that technically, the cost for just diagnosis was the cost of this current older model alone. I thanked him for his honesty, and said I would just buy a new apple ipad. Only reason why this isnt 5 stars is because I wish that they did apple device repair in house.

Both told me to be at the store 1 hour before closing so they could program my new key. I took my wife's vehicle today to work because this was the only day she didn't need it. I was able to get off of work early and was at their location exactly 1 hour and 5 minutes before they closed. Taylor informed me that he was unwilling to do it because it would take him until closing time. I asked him what he would be doing for the whole hour and he replied "my job". Clearly not. I don't appreciate being lied to. Many other trespasses I can overlook, but being lied to deserves a review. If Integrity matters to whomever is reading this, I would suggest going elsewhere for your needs.

I sat back and watched the store manager, Daryl Barron, literally give the best show on "multitasking" that I have EVER witnessed! This guy had all of us in AWE on his customer service skills, and I think I know a thing or two regarding customer service as I was one for a major Orthopedic company for over 40yrs!!! As he struggled with T MOBILE server issues that would NOT allow him access to various codes, his computer and his tablet were all in front of him and his phone in his ear as he tried to get the couple in front of me their purchased set of new phones activated AND switched over from Sprint to T mobile And then the new Sim card issue.....Never once did Mr. BARRON loose his cool, or did his voice waver, he was just Mr. COOL doing his UTMOST to satisfy this couple...he was DANCING up a storm, he was GRACEFUL, ALMOST POETIC as he handled each and every hurdle he came upon....it was honestly....the BEST reality t.v. I have seen!!! Every chance he got he apologized to me and reassured me I was next, I repeatedly told him I was fine watching him work while my butt just sat...fascinated at his skills!!! I left that store an hour and 40 minutes after I had walked in...time had flown by as we all watched Mr. BARRON treat each and every one of us as if we were the only person that mattered to him. I can't say enough about this guy!!! I just hope he gets the recognition from his managers cuz this guy Is a KEEPER!!! As I said, we don't have a store were I live. It's thirty minutes depending on traffic to get to this store...but this guy is MY CHAMPION!!! And I can't finish this review without mentioning SHAQ....he took every other customer that he could help!!! I was self- employed for years and now since being retired money is tight and insurance that includes vision coverage is prohibitive. When I moved to the Fort I visited a small private practitioner to get a new pair. The exam for a new patient was $250.00 so I switched back to LensCrafters this time as they advertised an exam for $99.00.......good deal! My experience with the doctor serving LensCrafters was excellent and my glasses were ready in four days. So far so good! My three stars review is due to sales and delivery. After I picked out my frames and was ready to pay my bill the salesman asked if I wanted a year warranty on my glasses for only $44.00. I declined thinking it was too money to pay since I had ordered the scratch free option. He told me they didn't cover scratches etc. unless I bought the warranty. Suddenly he decided that he could take $50.00 off the price of the glasses if I bought the warranty! So I now have a warranty. It appears that the cost of their glasses are so inflated that they have a lot of money to play with. It would have been nice if they just charged me $50.00 less in the beginning!! I got a call that my glasses were ready for pick up. I arrived at the store at about 6:00pm on a Friday night! The store was busy but only two staff members were on duty. I waited for 45 minutes and lots of people were milling around the store and were waiting for help. When they got to me the manager could not find my glasses.....what the hell! It tuned out that they had reversed my name on the computer making it almost impossible to find my order. I finally got the glasses and after an hour I was out of there!......the glasses fit well and seem really good......let's get organized folks!!!!!....but I got a nice warranty!!!!!
