Gabbie was an amazing person to work with... I am so happy with how much easier it was with her patience and perseverance.

I don't know why people have such bad things to say about Comcast. I've been a Comcast customer for…read moreover 10 years and I think they're great to work with. Their customer service whether in-person or over the phone has always been good. I have no complaints whatsoever about the customer service provided. I particularly appreciate that most of their tech support is local, so you're not calling someone in another country and dealing with a language barrier. Now as far as their services are concerned, I have Internet through Comcast but I no longer have cable TV. For Internet Comcast is the best value around with super fast speeds, decent monthly rates, and good technical support when you need it. But as far as cable TV is concerned I think Dish is a better option. Comcast On Demand never worked in my house or when it did occasionally work I wasn't very impressed. We dropped them for Dish and have been much happier with our TV service. My one issue with Comcast in general are their prices. I've had to constantly fight with them every 6 months to a year to get a better price. Their promotional rates are great but then when it switches to full price it's kind of ridiculous. So I have to call them every so often and negotiate a better rate. It's not a big deal but its kind of a hassle and the games you have to play to get a competitive rate gets old.

Dealing with Comcast has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had…read morewith any company. It's remarkable how a company that provides something as essential as internet service can make even the simplest issues so unnecessarily complicated. My biggest complaint is the billing. I signed up expecting a relatively straightforward monthly rate, only to discover that my bill had increased significantly after the promotional period ended. I understand that introductory pricing is common, but the difference was substantial, and trying to figure out exactly what I was being charged for was far more difficult than it should have been. Calling customer service was an exercise in patience. I spent what felt like an eternity navigating automated menus, being transferred between departments, and explaining the same issue repeatedly. One representative would tell me one thing, and the next would give me a completely different answer. At one point, I was assured that a billing adjustment had been made, only to discover that the following statement didn't reflect what I'd been promised. The internet service itself was generally usable, but occasional interruptions made the experience even more aggravating. When you're paying a premium for reliable internet, you shouldn't have to spend additional time troubleshooting problems or arguing over your bill. What bothers me most is the feeling that the company makes everything unnecessarily difficult. Signing up for service is incredibly easy, but getting a clear explanation of charges, resolving an issue, or making changes to your account seems to require an unreasonable amount of time and effort. I don't expect any company to be perfect. Mistakes happen, and technical problems are inevitable. But I do expect transparent pricing, accurate billing, and customer service representatives who can actually resolve problems without sending customers in circles. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience. Between the confusing billing, inconsistent information, and frustrating customer support, I can't recommend Comcast. One star, and that's being generous.

I am originally from Miami, Florida, and I moved to Van Wert, OH back in January due to getting a…read morenew job. I was completely unfamiliar with the area and I was very surprised to find out my cable company/internet service provider Comcast/Xfinity did not service the area. I have had many problems over the years with Comcast, including one on my way out of Miami which I will detail in a later review, but I did like the product they provided. I did not know what companies serviced the area so I called AT&T and found out that although they did not have their service their either, Directv, one of their subsidiaries did. I wasn't thrilled about going to satellite but I said well when in Rome, do as the Romans do. I signed up with a package with them. I also wanted internet, phone and security and they said I needed to work with a different company they are affiliated with in the area: Centurylink. I got a package and I was told they would be at my home on a certain day after my move. Thus began a comedy of errors that made me terminate my contract with both companies. During this time both: 1) put down the wrong dates to start service. 2) create a work order to repair my existing service, when it wasn't even installed in the first place. I was actually told by the repairman who was mistakenly sent to my house that he doesn't know how this could have been screwed up this bad! 3) getting my order wrong I had to make so many phone calls, including in the middle of a work conference I was attending! Every time my mother called me to say hey we have another problem with the cable/internet companies I wanted to jot my head against the wall in frustration. I was losing my patience and then one call again during the conference, my mother said that the installer for the internet service said that we would have ridiculously slow speed because they relied on DSL for service in my area and we were really far away from the downtown area where if we watched YouTube on one computer no other computer could use the internet! Wait!? What!? I was already unhappy with switching to satellite for tv but DSL? What am I back in the 90s? I can't use this, I work from home occasionally and so does my brother... this can't work! I wasn't told anything about this. I stopped the installation and canceled. Thankfully since service wasn't set up I didn't break the contract, it just never happened. Yeah no thanks!
