I stopped by to trade my phone in, the employee told me that he wouldn't be able to help me today because they close in 15 minutes. Thats some amazing customer service if I say so myself. I couldn't believe it. in my industry when a customer is there to spend money or has concern you do what it takes to make sure that said person has been taken care of. He let me walk out the door, I'll never be back and truth be told I will probably just switch my phone carrier. I am so sad one more store that has been hit by the pandemic. If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered my elderly mom a phone from this store on 12/21 for Christmas. I took whatever phone would get to her the quickest and was promised a phone on 12/29. On 1/9 still no phone. Called store but closed early due to COVID per message on phone. Finally had to send mom into store 1/14 and was told the order was returned/cancelled. The store associate was yelling at my mom and I when inquiring as to why this would happen. This place has really gone down hill. We have bought over eight phones over the years from here but will never return. So disgusted by this lack of professionalism and common human decency. Highly suggest ordering your phone online we had no problem when we did that. Don't shop local if this is the only local offered. read more

October 10, 2019 Purchased Apple watch on this date. The Simply Mac Store paired the watch to iPhone. Approximately 1:30 p.m. Jonathan S did a great job. Following this step I contacted Verizon.....After several attempts to set up my watch online with Verizon, observing: First agent was uninformed of the process, asking me to perform the wrong functions as I later found out. I was subsequently transferred to another agent who was also unfamiliar with the process. I was disconnected a couple times during the online chat. I then called a Verizon Agent. I was confident the Verizon Agent had established Verizon service for my watch. On October 11, 2019 at 10:33 a.m. I had received a text from Verizon, asking me to access a website embedded in the text. I did as requested, and was taken to the Verizon Wireless Website and to the section, "Manage connected devices". I was unable to perform the function requested on this website. I made a trip to the Corporate Verizon Store at 4601 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Phone 260-432-9928. The staff was unable to explain why I was unable to perform the function requested via text by Verizon. Due to a lack of confidence in this answer, I requested Verizon to confirm my street address entered in the Verizon system for emergency assistance. Verizon was unable to access this information and did not understand the process; although the Agent did ask his managers in the back of the store how to complete the process several times. The manager provided misconstrued and incorrect advice to the Agent as I later learned. The Agent told me Verizon, based on information from his managers in the back of the store, did not maintain my address for emergency services and had only asked for my address to determine if 911 services were available in the area. (Is there a location where 911 is not available these days?) I asked to speak to the General Manager. Instead the on floor "Solutions Manager", Jenny, stated Verizon personnel did not know why I received a text message and could not explain the reason I was unable to complete the requested function. Jenny said Verizon did not maintain my address in their system for emergency purposes. I learned later this statement was not factual. Corporate Solutions Manager, Jenny, was dismissive, uninterested in my dilemma, and as I eventually learned, was not knowledgeable about both issues that I had made a trip to the Corporate Verizon Store to resolve. I called Apple for the facts and spoke to Jasmine. Jasmine was unable to confirm the facts but contacted a Verizon representative, Michael. Jasmine had explained the run-around the Corporate Store manager had given to me. Michael confirmed the Verizon Corporate Store Manager, Jenny, was uninformed of both issues, stated her behavior was inappropriate and reflected badly on Verizon. Michael stated Jenny's poor attitude and dismissive behavior is not the type of treatment Verizon finds acceptable for its customers. (Evidently Verizon doesn't appreciate being contacted by Apple Service when their customers need help from Verizon.) Michael explained the text had been sent too late in the set-up process and should have never been sent to me at all. As an incidental matter, Michael fixed the incorrect name identified with the Apple Watch. Michael explained Verizon does maintain home addresses in the Verizon system in the event of an emergency, utilizing the Apple Watch functionality to provide 911 services. The Corporate Verizon Store at: 4602 Illinois Road Fort Wayne, IN. 46804 260-432-9928 exhibited undesirable behavior, especially from management, which indicated they were unaware of the operational aspects of the Verizon system, and consequently provided untrue statements. Alright I will say it....Verizon lied to me. The proper response to me from the Solutions Manager would have been "I don't know the answers to your questions, but I will investigate and call you tomorrow with the answers". Oversight and review of the Solutions Manager, Jenny, behavior should be conducted by Verizon. In my opinion, at least a reprimand is in order for her. read more

We have never been ignored upon entering the doors of any Verizon store but...there's a first time for everything!! We entered this store ( off of Illinois Rd across from JP Mall) and there were a 'few' customers being helped but no other sales associate greeted or responded to my husband or myself in any way. After standing around for 15 minutes being totally ignored, we left and went to a Verizon store off of Lima where we had the total opposite experience! We really hope corporate sees this negative review of the poor customer service delivered by this store's associates. Ridiculous! Despite the convenience of this location for us we will not be buying phones in this store anytime soon. read more

Oh yeah this is the best place to visit these people they they very friendly I definitely like this place.

I have had internet for two years. They always tell me DSL is all that is available in my area. On daily I have to unplug the modem, wait a minute, then plug it back in. Most times it works for. Couple hours then we have to do it again. When it doesn't work (which is about once every couple of months) I have to call Verizon who makes me go through the exact same crap I'm already doing. Last night I was in this store to transfer service from a basic phone to an IPhone 4 for my mother. They were having issues between Apple and Verizon and could not get the phone to work. (At least that is what we were told.) Bethany Biggs, our Solutions Specialist, was super helpful and was doing everything she could possibly do to get this phone set up. She asked the store manager, Jason, to help. This is my second run-in with Jason. The first time, a friend of mine was trying to get help with her account and was going to let my mother use her old phone when she upgraded, but there was a problem with an upgrade, so we left. My friend tried calling Jason 2 times and he never called her back. So, my brother ended up giving my mom an IPhone 4S that he had after he upgraded in December. (My brother is also a Verizon customer) That is why we were in there last night. AGAIN, Jason could not offer any solutions except to look over her shoulder and gave us many excuses why the phone was not working. He was too busy chit chatting with fellow employees to give us a real solution or tell us to come back tomorrow. NOT IMPRESSED. We were in the store for nearly 2 hours and heard the term 'just 5 more minutes" at least 15 times. Is this how the managers there train their employees? We finally had enough and we were given instructions on how to set up the phone at HOME. The instructions did not work, so my mother now does not have a cell phone at this time. I will not be back to this store and am really considering leaving Verizon after 17 years due to the poor service. read more
