You'd think a company with ZERO 5 star and ZERO 4 star reviews would think, hmm... maybe we should break the cycle, make SOMEONE like us. Your company is trash. Whoever owns this franchise is so pleased he got daddy's money so he never has to use his brain cells in the real world to make anything, just buy into a plug n play business like a car wash. Idiot. My WiFi went out yesterday, talked to an agent for FOUR HOURS because they couldn't figure out why it looked fine on their end and not mine. FINE, SEND AN AGENT! Lazy customer service, lazy business owner, hope his parenting isn't as lazy or his kids will be strung out and his wife will leave him for being lazy somewhere else. Get. It. Together. You should not be wasting peoples time. Some of us value it, and would happily pay MORE for another service that wastes less of our time. read more

sooo many issues w/Xfinity/comcast most recent was the idiots that buried an unnecessary cable thru the MIDDLE OF MY YARD!!!! Funny thing I requested they bury a 3' section of existing cable that surfaced thru the clay. Instead they dig thru my back yard right thry the middle, AND LEFT THE OBVIOUS ORANGE CABLE I NEEDED BURIED!!!!! Ft Wayne downtown manager was to call me A week and a half ago....no call. There is significant property damage that could have been avoided. I asked to be home on the order but OF COURSE THEY IGNORED THAT TOO. Khoi stopped by to help and said FOR SURE I would hear from the manage. Disgusting/non existent work ethic must be a requirement to work there read more

Takes 3 days to fix wifi and they return 5 days later to bury the cable. After they bury the cable wifi doesn't work. Sorry can't fix for another 6 days. I called of course and was told " no one is available to approve an earlier service." unacceptable service. And their phone tree is a nightmare. I know you are a monster company but you have to do better. read more

Every time I go to this service center, I cringe as I pull into the parking lot, this on top of the months of anxiety leading up to finally getting the nerve to call Comcast.. to voice my mind about their intermittent service or question why my boyfriend (who lives in the same area code as me) is getting faster internet, tv service, video on demand, and free HBO FOR $40 while I have been paying $69.95/mo for slower internet for the past year and a half... and every time I call to change my plan to what he has, they quote me more than what I had been paying in the first place! So, I called yesterday and the quote (for boyfriend's package- mentioned above) was a whole $2.00 less than what I have been paying. So I did it. I'll roll the dice and pick the stuff up from the ghetto service center since shipping is 5 business days and store pickup is next day (Friday). The experience wasn't that bad. In fact, I don't have much to complain about. Associate handed me the equipment after only about 5 minutes in the back room and mentions "brand new equipment--fresh from corporate." I was like cool, new sh!t... it should work just fine. Nope. .....Well, maybe it works. I wouldn't know. See attached pictures with captions. Typical Comcast right there. Hit or miss. Even brand new equipment straight from corporate. read more

A representative from Comcast's "Chicago-Heartland Executive Care" lies to the Better Business Bureau regarding my account billing. Minnesota AG Lori Swanson has filed suit against Comcast for the same behavior. Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports, "The company would use promotional details to attract customers, then add undisclosed 'invented' fees to their bills, according to the lawsuit. This Comcast representative "invented" non-factual statements to my complaint to BBB. Minnesota is suing Comcast for these reasons. There are several reports of lawsuits filed against Comcast for attempting to extort customers through false, or "invented" billing issues. read more

Buyer please be aware. The other one star reviews express some of the same issues i have experienced. Poor customer service; service goes out almost every other day; an expensive bill that was always higher than first quoted, or "mistakes" and "misprinted". I was always calling them at least 2 or 3 times a week. Even the wait music was annoying. A piercingly loud Caribbean theme. After 4 months (and 1150 dollars later) I finally cancelled. Please listen to what so many of the other reviews are saying....Comcast is one of the worst companies out there. Try to find a different server. Don't waist your time or money. Please. read more

First of all this company charged my Account 3 separate transactions $120, $284, and $64 and change for services that I never had. From Monday -Thursday I was LIED to, telling me things like the 120 was refunded and the other charges will be returned that Thursday by 5pm. Now here comes FRIDAY and still no refunds. On this day I was given the number 18009346489 where I was told my account would be closed out and my card removed however no one could even tell me why the monies was removed in the first place. Then I was told that my money would take ANOTHER 5-7 business days to be returned. This companies actions caused my account to become overdrawn, I'm stuck with every transaction fee This company caused me to rack up. That's $36/transaction/day it's not caught up. I don't get payed until 5days from that Friday, which Comcast still wouldn't have given me my money, my bank just takes my whole check to cover what Comcast TOOK for NO REASON. Now my bills for this check is putting my account back in jeopardy until Comcast DECIDES to replace MY MONEY. Now Y'ALL do the math on just the fees alone. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE FOR BUSINESS, SERVICE, NOTHING...IF I HAD THE OPTION OF NEGATIVE STARS THATS WHAT I WOULD GIVE read more

I don't know why people have such bad things to say about Comcast. I've been a Comcast customer for over 10 years and I think they're great to work with. Their customer service whether in-person or over the phone has always been good. I have no complaints whatsoever about the customer service provided. I particularly appreciate that most of their tech support is local, so you're not calling someone in another country and dealing with a language barrier. Now as far as their services are concerned, I have Internet through Comcast but I no longer have cable TV. For Internet Comcast is the best value around with super fast speeds, decent monthly rates, and good technical support when you need it. But as far as cable TV is concerned I think Dish is a better option. Comcast On Demand never worked in my house or when it did occasionally work I wasn't very impressed. We dropped them for Dish and have been much happier with our TV service. My one issue with Comcast in general are their prices. I've had to constantly fight with them every 6 months to a year to get a better price. Their promotional rates are great but then when it switches to full price it's kind of ridiculous. So I have to call them every so often and negotiate a better rate. It's not a big deal but its kind of a hassle and the games you have to play to get a competitive rate gets old. read more

the worst customer service. not paying for something that has NEVER worked! i ordered an internet modem expecting to be able to plug it into the wall and set it up through my phone. nope. had to be on the phone with a robot for about an hour trying to reach an actual person. come to find out they need to send someone out with a $70 charge to "fix" the problem. keep in mind i haven't been able to use my internet once. i canceled my service right then and there. read more

Ordered HD box (upgrade, of course) a month ago. Returned my old box per instructions and attempted self-setup myself and with the assistance of more than one or two technical support agents. Finally, a technician was to come to my place with a new box since apparently the one that I had was faulty. Technician was a no-show over a week ago. Called today to reschedule home service and agent performed the signal setup and voila!! Took a month of no service and a half dozen specialists to finally receive the channels that I had to pay for. Comcast is helpful and always resolves whatever operating problems I've had, given one has plenty of time to wait. But its' service is expensive and it has recently decided not to carry the major tennis Opens on its regular lineups, but wants us to buy The Tennis Channel. We get hundreds of hours of every other sport in the world, none of which we ever watch and yet the only one that we do enjoy, Comcastwants us to pay extra for! How about giving us a choice to not watch brain-injuries celebrated in horrible sports like boxing and football and see real physical excellence as shown in tennis? read more

I only have their internet so I can't speak for TV or phone. Their actual internet service is ok. If I had a FiOS option I would take it immediately but Comcast is my only choice other than DSL. Which I'm considering due to really bad customer service and arguably the worst technicians I've ever seen. I used to work for another TV provider and understand how to run cable, how to be "the face of the company", deal with customers, and the technical ins and outs. Over the years I had seen what good and bad techs can do and everything in between but what I've experienced has blown my mind. One weekend a Comcast technician came to work on my neighbors house. I was working on my roof. What he did to get them connected was take the line off the pole that was running to my house thru my burial cable and connected it to theirs. Didn't yell up to the roof asking if I had Comcast or anything. Just disconnected me and ran off. So that afternoon when I realized everything that happened I call in to customer service. First person tries to charge me to get a tech to come out. I say no and call back again. Second person says they'll get a tech out as soon as possible. Which was supposedly Tuesday, this happened on Saturday. Tuesday rolls around and no tech. I call back in and they say that the appointment was for Sunday. After talking a bit they say they can move me up to Thursday and escalate the ticket and if a tech can come out sooner they and that they would credit my account $20. Thursday a tech calls says he is on his way and hangs up. I head home to meet him and explain what happened. His fix was to put a splitter on the line at the pole and connect me and my neighbor to that. Everything was left dangling and a mess. They must not have any form of quality assurance in our area cause there were no drip loops or an ounce or care put into the work. He said he would schedule a truck to come out and drop another line at that pole. So two and a half weeks or so since then no truck, no new drop, and to no surprise my bill was not credited. So I get to spend my evening with customer service for the fourth time to see if they can even confirm that the drop at the pole will be fixed and get my 20 dollar credit. I wish Verizon still owned the fios lines in Fort Wayne and that they reached my house. I literally had zero problems with them. I hope this gives a realistic view of what you can expect from Comcast. read more

I have been trying since August 2015 to have late charges removed from my bill. Comcast sent out $5.99 coupons for Movies for the months of July, August, Sept, Oct. I used 2; one in July and 1 in August. I included the coupon when I paid my bill. and sent a letter explaining what was going on. I have spent about 2 hours at this service center, been told that they late fees would be removed from my account. I've sent an additional letter. It is now 12/18/2015 and the charges are still on my bill. If I was not locked into a contract, I wouldn't be able to get them out of my house soon enough. I'm a mature person on a fixed income. Their service stinks big time. read more

First I told them that I wanted an internet package with TV but only if a free professional install was included and I said it was all good and charged me and then a few days later I tried to call The Tech Guys phone number that they gave me and it just led to the main headquarters where they told me that I had a self-install kit ordered and on the way and to expect it. I was told that I would get compensation for this and that if the self-install didn't work they would send free of charge a professional to install it. The self-install didn't work because of a Gateway issue with the signal so I called them back and they told me that they could send a professional for $60 where I promptly demanded compensation and told them my situation about calling before and they told me all they could do is give me $20 off. Then when I call back shortly again to cancel everything they tried to hook me up with a free professional install. These guys are a total joke. In the end I cancel my order and luckily all they had charged me with so far was the deposit but I used my credit card for that instead of putting the money back on my card they're going to ship me a check which will be here in 3 to 6 weeks probably longer. Do not use these people. Their department communication is terrible. They use false advertising methodology and their customer service is Pleasant but the most frustrating thing I've dealt with since Verizon. read more

I have been with Comcast Internet for years. Since March they have turned off my cable without telling me because it was sending a ping?!! They told me they did not work on weekends so I had to have someone at my home during their window - I did. The tech said it was Comcast's fault and fixed it - Not! My service was intermittent and quit working altogether. During this time period from March to May I was told to buy a new router and I needed a new modem. I bought a new router and it worked but not my service. Next they said it was the modem. I was told by 4 different Comcast employees that a modem was being sent -Not! One guy did somehow hook me up to cable and sent me a tv box even though I told him I had Direct TV and JUST needed a modem. Of course, Comcast raised my bill for the new unasked for service. I have talked to over 10 people but no one could help. The billing department did offer a $30 credit even though my service hasn't worked for almost three months @ $60.95 monthly which I continued paying. So - bottom line - I bought a new modem at Best Buy to circumvent the service issue with Comcast, hooked it up, and was just told that it was never my router, nor my modem - so it must be in the line. HELP! It has been 3 months of no service, numerous phone calls, a rate increase on my cell due to data usage, and trips to my mother's so that I can use her Internet to do my job. Unfortunately, there is not another provider where I live! Frustrated beyond belief. This is so unfair that they are not accountable for the time, money, and grief they have caused me. read more

Prices are sky rocketing, service stinks (we'll be there between 8 and noon, or noon and 5 - geez!)! Sadly, I don't see a better alternative though! I know people who have the dish and they are just as upset about poor quality service and ever increasing prices as-well. I used to complain when I first got Comcast back in the early 1990's when I paid $29.00 a month for basic service. When they came out with high speed internet, I got that too back in the mid 1990's - it was as fast as greased lightning!! The two together were around $55.00 a month! Now, I pay a whopping $158.00 per month for basic television service, high speed internet that isn't much faster than dial-up anymore, because apparently Comcast has different speed levels you can PAY for, and I have been put on the slowest without notification, but I can "pay an additional $10.00 per month for faster internet if I choose." I have only three televisions in our home that have HD boxes. Two other TVs with little black boxes that are "free". The same amount of TVs that I had when I signed up twenty years ago. I understand some increases, but to more than triple??? Come-on! Someone please start up a good competition company and keep your fees reasonable so we can all walk away for the Comcast/Xfinity giant and keep some of our money for ourselves!! read more

I phoned Comcast's local office in Fort Wayne, IN on or around May 15th of 2013 advising them of termination of services on 5/31/2013 at my address which was 4537 Craftsbury Circle, Fort Wayne, IN 46818. I was advised at that time to leave the items in the apartment for the next user and that my services would be terminated at that time. I also confirmed with the Comcast representative that I was paid in full up to the point where the services would be terminated. We also looked up the residence which I was moving to in Columbia City and discovered that unfortunately Comcast did not offer services in this area so I would no longer be a customer to Comcast. Upon completion of this call it was my contention that everything I was responsible for at that point and time was complete. Unfortunately the first inclination that something was wrong came on 6/10/2013 when I received an invoice from Comcast in the amount of 37.84. Upon receipt I called the Fort Wayne Comcast office to advise them that I had received a bill that I believed to be in error. The representative advised me at that time that the bill was incorrect and would be readjusted but did show I had outstanding equipment that had not been returned and was the likely culprit in my receiving an additional invoice. I advised him I had left the equipment in the apartment which was requested of me. Again, I thought there was not an issue because as far as I understood Comcast was the preferred provider in the apartments and satellites are not allowed. The end of our conversation did not include you will be charged for the devices or we will be sending you an invoice if we are unable to retrieve the units. A couple days later on or around the 13/14th of June I received a call from a gentleman who represented himself as a Comcast technician asking where I left the devices. I advised they were in the rooms where previously installed with everything remaining neatly packed in location. Again, the end of my conversation did not lead me to believe any concerns existed and the driver advised he would call if he was unable to locate. I heard nothing in return. The real dilemma begins on Tuesday July 8th when I receive my first call to my cell phone from a provider identifying themselves as a bill collector attempting to reach me and seeking a call back from me immediately. I phoned them back on July 9th at which time I discovered the name of the organization was Stellar Recovery Inc, and they were collecting a debt on behalf of Comcast. The representative Ranelle stated that she needed payment in the amount of 787.84 immediately. I asked her to please explain the charges of which she stated I would have to contact Comcast for explanation. I am furious that Comcast has misled me in every call I have placed and every follow up I have provided. I did not even know about this balance that was provided to a bill collection agency until the day they called my phone multiple times leaving messages that last in excess of 1 minute each time. I do not believe that any of the charges are valid. I am the Regional Vice President for a large corporation and I am not an ignorant or lazy person. Had I been advised that the units needed to be returned I would have completed my due diligence to ensure that they were returned. Unfortunately at no time did anyone with Comcast advise me of such. read more
