Horrible assistance for very simple request…read more I have a Boost phone for myself and a second one for my wife. Boost apparantly records these as two accounts. I have both lines on autopay using a single bank card, but with different payment dates for the two lines. When The expiration came up for the card, I was notified by Boost that they needed an update for the card's expiration date. I provided the new date, but kept getting notices that my card had expired. A month later I called Boost customer service to try to take care of it. Having two phones on one credit card apparantly baffled the agent, who had to transfer me to another department who went through a series of questions that just kept going on and on and on and on. Did I have a car of one of these model years - 6 date ranges?and heaven forbid if interrupt to say "I had that one", because that triggered the tech to stop and read a second lengthy script regarding the care that Boost takes to insure the integrity of any information provided by their customer. Then starting over with the same six questions I had just answered. Next, "have I owned a car of a certain color, with a list of six model year of a given date range". (Mine turned out to be a 10 year old 1995 Ford). I think I had five or six similar questions for the each original phone. Finally I got through the grilling for the first account and tried to insure they understood that the same card was used for two different accounts. They never did understand the concept of just looking up the expiration date of the second card without the 20 questions and another 20 - 30 minutes. After going through another lengthy script regarding the care they provide, but they have to do one account at a time, I was switched to a different agent who repeats much of the same scripts and winds up confirming that the card linked to this account had the updated expiration date, and thanks for calling in. It has taken more than 1/2 hour to confirm the first account was done before starting. After waiting again, I went through the same process but with the added frustration of the agent challanging me that the credit card number I was calling about was already updated, thanks for calling. I insisted she listen to my request - check the expiration date associated with the single card that I had used to pay the two separate accounts for several years prior. There was a couple of disconnect and call back, with associated lenthy wait on hold, to take care of the situation (I hope). I'm certain the total time was well over one hour...which I thought should take a minute or two. BEWARE.
