if you're looking for a great meal, a good time, and live music with a step above the rest this is your place to go! We are visiting from San Diego and wanted a nice but also casual and fun place for dinner and we were so satisfied with everything this restaurant has to offer. We can't thank you enough. We were served by a young girl named Paige who was a delight, gave great recommendations and amazing service. we ordered tons of food and loved everything we had to eat, with good drinks!

I had the garden salad with grilled but probably more roasted chicken and a side of tot legs. All good, great stop for lunch, patio was so nice to enjoy in a gorgeous day! Service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry so totally fine! Street parking which was easy to get.

Yes, please. Pretzel and chardonnay cheese

What a cozy spot. For food, I only had an appetizer and took dessert home for later. The appetizer that I chose was the pretzel and chardonnay cheese. I had some Santa Barbara Chardonnay, too. Nostalgia laced for this CA transplant of going on 18 years. Pretzel - sharing size, or eat your feelings size. We listen and we don't judge. Wine cheese- so, I usually love beer cheese, this was a 10, absolutely. Dad and I agreed, the baklava was great, also. Service- thoughtful, intuitive and non-hovering. Just the way I like it!

Food: 2.5 stars Service: 2 stars Ambience: 4 stars Value: 2 stars Drinks: 2 stars Overall, this was unfortunately a disappointment for my family. It started out well with us being seated quickly on the back patio and ordering the pretzel as an appetizer (huge and delicious). Unfortunately it went downhill from there. My mother is dealing with some diet early restrictions, and she inquired about the whitefish. She was told the lemon was on the side, which worked for her. She mentioned some of her restrictions and was told it should be fine by our waitress. When it arrived, the lemon was seasoned on the fish, not on the side, and the fish was COVERED in pepper. My father, who loves pepper and puts it on everything (including, perhaps, things which should/do not need it) said it was too peppery for him to eat. My mother mentioned the discrepancy in the lemon preparation to the waitress, who had no response other than that wasn't what she thought. You would think the staff would be more precise when dealing with medical dietary restrictions, but unfortunately that was not the case here. No effort was made to remedy the issue, in terms of getting her a replacement item or issuing a refund. My husband and father also both attempted to order the meatloaf. Shortly after ordering, a person we assume was the manager came out and apologized, indicating that only one meatloaf was left and that the quantity in their system had been wrong. My father ordered something else and updated his wine order accordingly. Imagine his surprise when our food came out... and he was served meatloaf. Communication between our server and the kitchen seemed to be very lacking that night. We also experienced generally very slow service. The second glass of wine my father ordered (adapting to the change in entree) did not arrive for another 15 minutes after our entrees, which baffled us. Overall, the poor service and less than stellar food means we are unlikely to return, though restaurant options are lacking in the area and we have had better experiences in the past. If you do come here, I would recommend sticking to wine (the cocktails are not very good) and bar food type options - the pretzel was fantastic and the burger I ordered was quite good. No need to order the more expensive items - they seemed to be poor value and poor quality.

Look at the size of this tater tot! ("Tater kegs" with cheese and bacon inside!)

Very good service! Our waiter really knew all the beers and food and was very friendly- and they have a wonderful little patio out back with sun umbrellas to enjoy the weather. Compared to Local however, I'd say their food isn't quite as good and their prices are much higher. We enjoyed the whitefish pate- but it only comes with round crackers, no veg or even a cracker/bread mix. The tater kegs were fun. The quinoa and market salads were good but if you add a protein, they're $20-$25 and they're just not worth that. Same with the side slaw, which is $5 and about an ice cream scoop size. (And we didn't really like it) The burger seemed to be the winner at the table. And the waiter- he was great.

Waitstaff was excellent! Food was so-so, with some of it being obviously reheated and not fresh. Very overpriced and underwhelming.

DRINKING ONLY REVIEW:…read more Yes . Idk if we just got really lucky today but I will come back here time and time again and sit at the bar. Happy hour had great prices and we made it just in time for them to ring it up. We got a wine, beer and rum and coke. Cool atmosphere with TVs , cool bartenders and spacious seating. The bartender comes up to us after a bit and says "hey I made this espresso martini by mistake , do you guys want it ?" UHHH YEAHHHHHH. Haha we loved this . AND THEN! The other bartender went ahead and topped off the martini with some extra mix once we were off way done. So instead of throwing away the drink, they gave it to us and we tipped extra and they get a great review !!! The only reason I docked a star was that my dad said the men's bathroom was really really gross. So I would just say if they could clean that that would be great ! But that doesn't have anything to do with the bartenders who were AWESOME!

The server let us know that multiple menu items were unavailable, Im not sure if this is common or not but just mentioning as it could possibly happen to others. Thankfully the simple items that we wanted the burgers, chicken sandwiches, and mac n cheese were all available. The food and beer were both good, nothing crazy to blow your mind but pretty tasty! Definitely a good option if youre looking for a spot for a large group to grab some quick food and a few beers!

We took advantage of a beautiful sunny day to take a day trip around parts of Northern Michigan…read more After walking through Art in the Park, we decided to try Pearls for Lunch. The ambiance reminds you of a Louisiana Cajun bistro with all the eclectic decor to match. It was busy, with a wait for tables, so we elected to sit at the bar. Our server recognized us, and said he would be with us in a minute, as he was taking care of other patrons and bringing out their meals as well. We appreciate at least being recognized, and understand when an establishment is busy. We chose the Fried Green Tomatoes, which were really tasty. Corn meal fried and served over creole sauce, topped with shaved Parmesan. For our entree we had the Bronzed Cajun Alfredo. You can choose either Chicken Breast or Jumbo Shrimp, we chose the Shrimp. The portions are generous so we split this dish. The Cajun Alfredo sauce was really good, "kind of want to lick the plate tasty" :) The pasta and shrimp were both cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive and friendly. Good experience. Would recommend checking it out if in Elk Rapids.

The restaurant itself was decorated with a New Orleans vibe. Made me feel like I was eating in the Big Easy. As for the food, I can't speak for everyone, but I can speak for my family. I got the étouffée. It was almost all rice. And it tasted a little burnt. I also got a cup of the crawfish chowder. It was very good. The biggest disappointment was what my son ordered, the frog legs. He's 13 & loves frog legs. What he got was something more the size of front frog legs. They were TINY & there were only 3 single legs. Typically, restaurants serve frog legs in pairs. This was particularly disappointing because these cost $15!
