I never had a reason to go to Cell Geeks until yesterday, November 4, 2024. My 10-year-old has an iPhone. It wasn't my choice. It was given to her several years ago behind my back by her dad, my ex-husband. This kid is a phone dropper. It's a wonder how she hasn't cracked a screen until recently. The guys who work here were welcoming and assistive as soon as we walked in. In less than 10 minutes, her screen was repaired. The price was a bit steep at $138.87 charged to plastic, but I'm relieved it's replaced and there were no issues. Plus there was a 7-day warranty if any issues did arise. They sell tons of other items... screen protectors, phone cases for a variety of brands & generations, perfumes, colognes, toys, jewelry & more. Free parking in a plaza across from the Home Depot. My phone was working very well, even with my cracked screen. Then I went inside of cell geeks to get my iPhone 15 screen fixed. Did not put the screen back on correctly, lots of lifting. With this new screen, it started to go very dark, and my face ID does not work with my apps. When taking photos, you can physically see the screen when taking a selfie. Now my phone completely shut off and won't turn back on. Will not be going back to Cell Geeks. Paid $200 for my phone to have more issues. I am not satisfied. Will never go back to Cell Geeks. My screen also lost some receptors to touch because when my phone would turn on, it would take a couple presses on the screen to get it to work. Android phone should be good but never take newer iPhone models to Cell Geeks. They will not install the screen right and leave you with an even bigger problem than scratches. read more

iPhone completely smashed! They fixed the front and back glass- same day! They have repair, cases, jewelry, nice watches and if you need cell phone repair, and can't wait for a week for Apple to repair, I think this is the only place in Hobbs that can get it done fast- even on Sunday. read more

Don't recommend. I had my iPhone 8 screen repaired here, thinking they offered a fair price. They replaced my screen and now it jumps all over the place when I touch it. It makes it very difficuly to use my touch screen when I touch it on the left and it punches things in on the right. Just go to the apple store back home. Definitely subpar work. read more

I was referred to this business for a "deal" on a phone case by my wireless carrier. Because I had an expensive phone, he didn't give me much of a deal. I picked out a phone case and a wireless charger. The charger did not work properly and I attempted to return it. The owner could not get it to work properly at first, either, then changed cords and because it lit up, he pronounced it "working." He would not give me my money back. It still does not work at least 50% of the time. The phone case wasn't much better. The magnetic closure on the wallet case would not stay closed, so if I dropped my phone, it fell face down on the glass screen protector. When I tried to remove my phone from the case, the adhesive backing stuck to my phone so badly I could not remove the adhesive. A waste of $75. Do not recommend! read more

Alright, so these guys maybe good and fast at cell phone repairs, but they will rip you off on all the other overpriced junk they sell. I had walked into their store to see what cool tech stuff they might have. A watch caught my eye and I had asked how much the watch was since there were not any prices on the watch. The worker said that watch is $150 dollars and i turned it down. I browsed the store and didn't see anything interested in. The worker said how about $125 and I still wasn't interested. Then he asked me what I am willing to pay and that he wants to make sure everyone that leaves from the store walks out with a purchase. So I offered $100. He replied I guess just to get your business. I bought the watch and went back to work. That afternoon I was thinking I bet i overpaid. I look online and of course the watches go for about 30 to 40 dollars. I said shame on me I'll just return it. I go back to the store the very next day and asked to return the watch. The worker said why do you want to return it. I told him that it is way overpriced and it is not right to treat your customers like that. The worker then called "the boss". They replied saying they have a do not return policy. I said where does it say that and the person selling it did not say all sales are final or anything about a no return policy. The worker then said the policy is right here and pointed underneath the counter and off to the side. The policy says a lot about the warranty about services, repairs and parts for phones and there is one sentence that says they do not accept returns. I told the worker that he pretty much does not deny selling things far overpriced and that the customer can not return the item if they are dissatisfied with the item. This was also the very next day that I could not return the item. The worker asked if I still had a problem that I could come back and talked to the owner. I returned and talked to the owner about how poor this policy is and he is not denying that he is overpricing items for sale. The only thing he was willing to offer was $25 store credit. I was not interested. So I make my peace with the situation but feel obligated to share my experience with everyone. A BIG THUMBS DOWN! read more
