You'll notice right away the clean white bricks on the outside. Ample, free parking is available. As soon as you walk in, there is an old-fashioned coin-operated kiddie ride horse. It's adorable. Then there's the polished wood floor. The high ceilings. The uber organized sections for men, women, and children. Multiple dressing rooms. My favorite area is probably hats. There is an attendant specially for that section to get your new hat fitted, shaped, and on your way to the upcoming fair & rodeo in Lea County. I was greeted at the store, but was slightly disappointed at the lack of customer service thereafter. Nonetheless, I will be back for some new jeans. They also sell jewelry, belts, cowboy wallets, coolers, tumblers, and more. Roy Rogers sang, "Let me ride through the wild open country that I love / Don't fence me in." Do it in style too... They had their grand opening on August 23, 2024. I finally popped in while my kiddo was at karate class on January 7, 2025. Owned and operated by the family and creators of Martin Boot Co., the beautiful, clean shop is solely for men and women with quite an array of sizes. They offer workout clothes, yoga outfits, and golf attire. I was impressed with the quality of their materials and designs. The prices were not exceedingly high, but don't expect Walmart budgets to go far here. Additionally, they sell shoes and some accessories such as candles, sunglasses, tumblers, lip balms, and skincare supplies. There are no kids' clothing here and that will likely remain, according to the owner with whom I spoke personally - she's lovely!

Our first visit here in June was lackluster. The store itself is okay for the most part, but a bit disheveled and disorganized in other areas. I like that we didn't have to flag down an attendant to open up a dressing room. Our second visit on July 3, 2024 was a little better. My oldest picked out some birthday clothes. One article of clothing was missing a price tag. Our checkout attendant had another employee grab another skirt just like it. She took forever! Then she came back with a skirt that was the complete opposite... "Will it accept it at this price?" "Sure," I exasperated. I won't be rushing back any time soon, but it is an option for clothes, home decor, and gift ideas.

The lady I spoke to on the early afternoon of September 18, 2025 replied that they closed at 5:30. My oldest daughter and I returned a few minutes after 5 PM only to try a locked door. No note on the door. Such a bummer because I was hoping to get both of my girls new Eagles shirts before the traditional black and gold Friday. They had a ton of T-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, hats, and more when I went in earlier today. They all seemed mostly affordable. Hopefully updating this review soon.

I was a bit perturbed at not being welcomed when I came in today (October 17, 2025) and another I walked by who made eye contact with me said nothing, but shortly thereafter, three other employees came up to me, smiling asking if I needed assistance. I like most of their clothes, but I simply didn't see anything I was dying to have. At one point, I grabbed a boot jack which I desperately need, especially as I get older. Lol. A young staff member walked up to me and said, "Just to let you know, that's actually $29.99 not $19.99." She was re-labeling them as we spoke. That's precisely why I knocked off a star.

My brother and his girlfriend bought me my first pair of Hey Dude shoes for my birthday from Shoe…read moreDept. They were a size too big. I brought them in to see if I could exchange them on 6/21/2023. The young lady I dealt with was amicable, but a bit strange. Nonetheless she guided me in the area where the Hey Dude section was. It seemed like a large section, but it turned out they didn't have the same shoes so I settled for some Wendy glitter in baby pink ones. Apparently that day these were on sale due to "National Pink Day" (not kidding) because even though they were the same price as what my brother bought on his receipt, I ended up with some cash back. The exchange was a quick, painless process. It's a newer Shoe Dept in Hobbs, NM, next to one of the fire stations. I only knocked off a star because you have to ask for panty hose liner from the front registers if you're not wearing socks. Plus some of their aisles were in a bit of disarray. Loyalty program is available. They do have the Brannock foot measuring devices here! Haven't seen those in forever it seems. Can't wait to see if they have any in my daughter's size because she has been dying for a pair.
