4.5 stars Celina's is top notch! I love supporting local (in which I don't mind paying a little more for) and have always wanted to stop by, but a facebook post advertising their white chocolate dipped pumpkin biscos sent me in. I went the Friday before Christmas- they were busy, but the shop smelled so good. They had all kinds of little gifts ranging from hot chocolate bombs, coffee, tamales, various mixes, and what they're famous for- biscochitos. The employees were friendly and helped me find what I needed. I ended up with a dozen of the white chocolate pumpkin dipped ($11.95?) and a dozen of the cranberry walnut ($10.95?). It got quite the rave from photos I posted in a "pumpkin" group I belong to. I will be back for sure. 2022 #1

When the lady asked if we wanted a sample? It made my day. Walking in, you smell the aroma of fresh cookies and you see the baker stretching, kneading, and flouring. The display case was very inviting. Wants you to buy everything in sight! Halloween decorated cookies, wedding cookies, etc. Blue corn pinion cookies. Green or red chili cookies. Plain ones. So many choices but little luggge space or consideration of breakage? Smashed to pieces. They sell by dozens and two dozens or bite size. We sample the wedding cookie and it was amazing. The lady was super nice. You know her enthusiasm for New Mexico state cookies: biscochoti ! Who knew each state has its own cookies?

Very tasty traditional cookies. I would have preferred a bit more anise, but my cousin likes them this way.

After visiting Albuquerque, biscochitos are my new favorite cookies. Thanks to Celina's for sending me home with a couple dozen.

I had never been to the Burque Bakehouse until very recently because I was so introverted, didn't…read morelike crowd...and just didn't want to wait in a long line and find parking in such a small space. Until, one day, I stopped by this place early on a weekday out of whim because my appointment got slightly postponed...so I figured a weekday early morning wouldn't be a bad time to check this place out at all..and I was 100% sure I made the right decision! There was just one or two persons in front of me! I really liked how unique the pastries/baked goods at The Burque Bakehouses were! Everything looked so unique and I honestly had a hard time choosing what I wanted. I ended up with a mix of savory and sweet patries...but, to be honest, I thought the savory ones did not compare to the sweet ones at all! So, next time, I would probably lean in more on the sweet pastries (which weren't too sweet at all)! The place could be crowded and the parking spaces seemed a little limited...so weigh your factors on the day/time you wanted to stop by this place. There was no place to get properly seated indoors. You pretty much line up, place your orders, pay and wait for staff to assemble your order...and take your food somewhere to eat. There were a couple stools to sit there..but this place may be best if you just grab items to go!

Given that all the locals also recommended it I had high expectations. I tried the two cookies and sadly they looked like they were going to be soft cookies but they were pretty hard. I think the flavor was alright (one of them reminded me of a Mrs. Fields cookie...) but they were so dry and hard. I then tried the muffin and the inside filling tasted good but the outside (which I think had layers like a croissant) tasted burnt and somewhat dry as well. Overall, given the high price and the experience I had I honestly can't really recommend this place. I feel like it's more hype then actually good.

Their Mission is to support our community members where they are needed, But . . . This Yelp Experience for me was just an introduction to who they are, what they do . . . and their GREAT lattes & baked goods. Added to their Mission, I can tell you this is a wonderful little coffee shop. Professional Friendly Staff. Stop in, have a coffee and talk to the staff about how you can support and contribute to their mission. Be one of the good guys. Thanks Acora & Mia for showing us that this coffee shop is here.

He even joked that they were "out of everything," which got a laugh and set a fun, relaxed tone. The music was rocking when I walked in, which I loved, although it eventually switched to something a little more mellow. Still, the overall atmosphere was inviting and made me want to stick around. I ordered an Iced Americano, and it was solid. You can tell they use quality espresso, but I personally would have liked it just a bit stronger. Next time, I'll probably ask for an extra shot to make it perfect for my taste. The real standout was the cinnamon roll. It had the ideal texture with a gooey, cinnamon-filled center, and they certainly didn't skimp on the cream cheese frosting. There was enough frosting to induce a sugar overdose, in a good way. The shop itself was clean, comfortable, and designed to make you want to stay awhile. They have a huge selection of board games and LEGO sets, so you could easily spend a couple of hours hanging out with friends or family. I also asked about the stage and learned they host karaoke and open mic nights a couple of evenings each week, which adds another fun reason to come back. Between the genuinely friendly staff, quality coffee, incredible cinnamon roll, and welcoming atmosphere, this is a place I'll definitely be visiting again.
