I left a message and also sent a text message with pictures of how this work was done. The extension is a hazard and is in the way of the sprinkler. My husband is a veteran, and has been diagnosed with Huntington's disease I'm a senior citizen, and they want me to remove that gutter piece. Kyle the sales guy said that it's easily removed. It Just pulls out. No, that is not true. It screwed on. Then Kyle said he's really busy right now, he'll put me on the calendar once he has an available slot. They seem to be a very local business, and I love to see their success. I had a fairly decent size rain gutter installation project at my house and gave them a call to get a quote. No response. I then tried 2 more times and left messages without a response. I then gave up. About 2 weeks later, I received a call back and the man left me a message. He told me that he was just "too busy" to take on any more projects and recommended a fellow in the area to give me a customized quote. I called his recommendation and a man came out to give me a price. The guy was very nice, but way too customized, makes everything by hand, and not in the ballpark at all for pricing. His prices were about 2 time more than any other quote I had received. Unfortunately this ended up being a waste of my time. It would have been great to have the job done by a local company, but I ended up using a nice guy located in West Covina. Seems like Crescenta Rain gutters has a good problem of too much work, and not enough staff. On one hand, that is good, but the recommendation was pretty poor.

However, I received no updates unless I specifically requested them, and my questions often went unanswered until I contacted the company directly. At the time of final payment, I felt the owner's tone was unnecessarily confrontational when he said I had not submitted payment quickly enough. I did not appreciate how the situation was handled. He also stated that providing customers with photos was not something the company normally does, even though I had specifically been promised regular photo updates. Based on the lack of communication and my overall customer-service experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this vendor.

Didnt get some of the "sales" type vibes from the others that came out who call back offering to lower the price. I dont like that tactic so Art passed that test. I felt as Art said he who started in the roofing business and working for others and decided to do his own company, he knew what worked and what didnt. My research aligned with what he told me and he uses the highest grade products for the job as standard. The crew started when I needed and did a great job on the demo... cleaning really well afterwards. They covered my landscaping where needed and my pool just to make sure nothing fell in which I appreciated. They also put painters plastic in my garage since we work in there to cover things as well as our family room with the pitched ceiling. As you do get some light dust/debris coming thru since no attic space in these areas. The job went right on schedule and Art coordinated with Culver City building department for permit and approvals. It all passed smoothly. I made some special requests for adjustments to venting which Art happily did without any extra costs. He add more vents than I had originally and gave good advice on the process. My roof had a fair amount of angles and valleys and Art pointed out he could make them more effective at draining water properly. I chose to go with the visible valleys as I liked the idea of seeing them and all the things he got were pre painted and matched really well. Communication was very good with him. His job foreman spoke English which was important as things do come up as the work progresses but all handled really well. It all went very smoothly and you could tell the team are experts at roofing. I decided to replace my gutters as well and the price seemed reasonable for that too. They did a great job on it all and it looks fantastic and now I wait for the big super El Niño coming this winter with a lot more confidence that I will weather the storms. Art said he would come back quickly if any issues and I believe that would be true. A new roof is a huge amount of money and there are sooo many places to choose from. While many may be great im sure others not so much and the prices can vary quite a bit. I trusted Art would follow through on quality... and they did which is very important these days. I have had lots of home improvement projects that did not go well. This is one that gets a gold star.

So many people are taking advantage of insurance companies demanding major repairs that may or may not be needed and there are a lot of roofing companies that are overcharging for work.
