We had a really old rain gutter on our second floor replaced. The guys did a great job and we were really impressed by how they got a huge 42-foot rain gutter put up in one piece. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is they didn't do a very good job cleaning up afterwards; they had to take the old rain gutter down in pieces and there was lots of very fine dirt in the gutter that ended up all over our patio. read more

So here is my review for what it's worth; -I tried calling two other gutter guys and no one returned my call. -I called Scott and he actually answered my call. -He came out the next day and gave me a really great quote. -It stated raining for the next 3 days, and when there was a break, his guys showed up and got it done between the storms. I tried for 6 weeks to get Matt Fisher to my home for a new gutter est. Had an appt 4 weeks ago and he never showed up. He apologized, said he forgot about it. Since then, he was available a couple times when I wasn't. 2 weeks ago he left a voicemail, said he would come by in next day or 2. I have called him numerous times since he did not show up, he never bothered to return my calls. Unbelievably unprofessional. Just looking at the work visually it looked good. Scott, who was very nice and cordial installed it himself. While cleaning my gutters, I discover the crappy job he did where he cut the hole in the gutter and attached the elbow to the hole. 1. He was too cheap to use a "drop outlet." 2. He cut the hole too small. 3. He cut the aluminum and attached the elbow where there were exposed openings thus causing leaks. I actually had to take a plier and straighten out one piece he cut and the back piece I had to bend to fit inside the elbow not the outside. If you look at the three photos, you will see the sloppy job he did. I had Fishers Raingutters (Scott) out in May to install some Rain Gutter on my home. When he was finished many of the shingles laying on the edge of the roof were lifted and look pretty crappy, he had also bent up the flashing to were it looked damaged. I was having some painting at the time as well and my friend who is a painter, suggested NOT TO pay Scott until he hammers down the shingles. So before payment Scott comes out and I tell him what my Painter had suggested, Scott reply is that the shingles will lay flat in the summer when the heat hits them. I said my friend the Painter said that will not happen . Scott said Im the Rain Gutter contractor listen to me and NOT THE PAINTER. SO here we are early September, BLAZING HOT SUMMER, shingles have not laid down. I tried to get a hold of Scott several timesand he has NOT REPLIED ONCE. Scott didn't return phone calls and kept us on the hook, promising to come at a certain time, but he didn't show or even call! My husband waited home all day on the promised day, finally reached Scott and got a promise of later in the day, but again a no-show and a no call. What a wasted, wasted day! We finally called around and got a reliable man to do our rain gutter. He had a competitive price and came when he promised, which is what we wanted. We have a terrible leak in a brand new gutter in front of our house. Water drains right onto our office roof. We have called a handful of times with no call back whatsoever. Fisher Raingutter did a job for my neighbor and she was pleased so I had them come out and do mine. I requested seamless gutters and when they got here I was told our area was too long and they would need to put in a seam. I went along because I thought this information was correct but come to find out when they did the same model down the street they did seamless. Now I have a leak at the seam and I have called them four times and no one will call me back. I am contacting all my neighbors to be sure he never works in here again as well as the BBB. IMMEDIATELY AFTER an expensive installation years ago, Fisher Raingutter did not respond regarding my concerns about a faulty installation. I called the office more than one time, sent a letter and sent a certified letter. Improperly installed gutters allowed water to flow behind the gutters. Fisher Raingutter simply did not reply. We have been careful to watch/care for our woodwork, but what we did not know back then is that corner beams were taking water from the top, which we could not see from down below. See the photo. We have two beams in this condition now, which we must repair. We know this damage did not exist before Fisher Raingutter's work because of inspection, construction and painting. We learned about it when, after years have passed, it was time to paint the house again. I see from other reviews that Fisher's poor quality and lack of sufficient response is common. read more

Flaked. Scott came out to bid the job, I showed him an area where a tree limb had caused two sections to separate slightly. I said that I wanted it repaired. I also ordered a lot of new gutters. His crew came out to do the work but Scott did not accompany them. The new gutter work was mostly good. The downspout openings are too close to the foundation, but most other work was OK. Months later, I was on the roof and looked at the area of separation. It had not been repaired. I called Scott, who said he was out of town but would call back. He didn't. Weeks later, I sent an email about the issue. He ignored that, too. Next stop is State Contractor's License Board, I guess. Too bad. read more

In our experience we found this company to be stellar in terms of their responsiveness, cost, work, clean-up, follow through and attention to detail. They installed both copper and aluminum plus a rain chain. A couple months after the installation we noticed a few copper rivets were missing and they came right out when they said they would and took care of it. I bought my home "as is" from the bank. Banks are not very good at home maintenance and so the house needed some work. This included replacing the improperly installed, leaky, 4" Home Depot bargain rain gutters. Since it doesn't rain much in SCAL, this was not urgent but it we did need to get this fixed eventually. My wife and I contacted several installers for estimates. We ended up going with Fisher for 90' of 5" seamless aluminum rain gutters. Their prices were competitive, especially since we did this in the summer. My wife would have been comfortable if Scott did the install when I was not here (she asked that I include this in the review since it was an important factor for her). We arranged to have the gutters installed on a Saturday. Scott began installation in the morning and finished around noon. I had the exact opposite experience from the others posting here. I hired Fisher Raingutter to install raingutters on my home. The resulting installation and product quality was very poor. Every corner and seam leaked and the gutters were all hung improperly. I called back a few times and after escalating met with Scott himself. He told me that he did not agree with me. ? Anyways, as a result of spending money on a terrible product with a terrible installation I proudly tore off the gutters and brought them to the landfill. Very disappointed in the quality of their work. Gutters were installed and at the first hard rain I called Fisher back to fix a big portion of the gutter that was installed way too low. The rain poured off the roof like a river and missed the entire gutter. After the call back, someone came over without coordinating with me so that I would be home. The gutter was NOT raised but, instead, a piece of metal was placed at the bottom of the roof. This quick & easy fix did not work. So much for their warranty work. Fisher installed the rain gutters on our home nine years ago. There was a problem with one area that developed after the last rain and when I called he came out, found the problem right away and even cleaned out part of one of the gutters and repaired a corner that had come loose after time.
