All of their dresses were lovely but they only had what felt like a few simple but lovely elegant to choose from which is what I was looking for When I landed on the dress that I liked the most (out of the ones that I wanted to try on) I suddenly felt very pressured to purchase it by my fitter. In hindsight it was the wrong dress and I should have been at least encouraged to think on it and come back for such a big purchase but was not. I ended up buying the dress and was pushed to buy a veil without being told it was $500! (Until i was handed the bill). It unfortunately continues, as most of those buying a wedding dress, this was my first time. I had tried many things on but only ordered once. I trusted my fitter and she asked if I wanted it "a little" smaller or "a little bigger" I obviously went with a little bigger only to receive a dress that was HUGE. I later found out that most places order to your largest size and don't take into account the style of dress you picked and you just have to trust the stylist to help advise. I have a small chest and waist but wide hips and if I chose a form fitting dress my largest size would be needed but I chose a ballgown. So I took home a dress that could absolutely not be worn and had to be fitted so much that the top hardly resembles what I bought. Looking back the vibe was great and the people were nice but it was missing the guidance and support that I think is needed for wedding dress shopping. You typically only do it once or twice and it is made such a large deal there should be space to think about things and also know what is being organized.

When I went to Elizabeth for a quote, I was instantly at ease with her incredible focus on the customer and her friendly, realness. My dress required a good deal of alteration due to weight loss and she and her team approached it with an amazing attitude and ease. I felt like a princess when I walked out of the shop with my final alterations completed. She also altered both of my daughters' bridesmaid dresses and they looked amazing in them! 0 Stars! I paid $1,185.95 plus a $200 tip for a prom dress for my daughter's senior prom, and the…read morezipper failed on the big night! When I contacted the shop, they showed zero sympathy for how important the evening was and offered no apology or compensation whatsoever. They insisted that if the zipper was going to fail, it would have done so in the store -- "never" outside of it. Their solution was to fix the zipper the following day, which was completely unacceptable since the dress was needed that night. To make matters worse, they wanted me to drive over an hour to University Village at 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter stuck in the broken dress so they could "inspect" the zipper. My daughter was part of a group of 11 seniors headed to professional pictures, dinner, and the prom--time was extremely limited. This lack of understanding and flexibility made a very stressful situation even worse. When I expressed my desire for a refund, I was told it was outside their 30-day window and no refund or exchange would be offered. When we purchased the dress, we were told we had to buy it immediately to have it in time for the dance--essentially protecting them from any responsibility, no matter the circumstances. Adding insult to injury, when my daughter tried contacting the woman for help to get out of the dress, her calls went unanswered and were never returned. We were also wrongly accused of zipping the dress incorrectly and misaligning the zipper teeth. Anyone who has dealt with formal dresses knows it takes more than one person to zip these dresses. None of the teeth were damaged, and the zipper was not misaligned -- my daughter was fully zipped into the dress before it failed. They clearly don't care about your special evening; the money is the only thing that matters. I cannot recommend this shop for formal dresses. There are shops that care far deeper than your pockets. This is not one of them!!!!
