This was a gas stop that turned into a coffee stop and happy it worked out this way. They were roasting beans while we were there so the scent dragged us in ... it really didn't but the place smelled lovely. I had the usual iced latte with oat milk and cinnamon. The Cedar Grove Coffee House was a great experience. My husband and I stopped in after church and it did not disappoint. This was my first time to try it. I had the Cedar Grove Club panini and it was delicious. If anyone truly knows me, they know I am very particular about my coffee. I tried the Peppermint Mocha and it was amazing. My husband had the Italian panini and the salted caramel latte, he really enjoyed both. The staff, Kimber, Addie and Kolton were very courteous and inviting. Also a plus was the owners were there roasting coffee, the aroma from the coffee made everything feel so cozy. If you haven't tried Cedar Grove Coffee House, pay them a visit, I promise you won't regret it. read more

This place is a short trip from the interstate and was the perfect quick stop for coffee before a day at the park. Despite being in a shopping strip, they still have a drive thru which is always convenient. We didn't stop in but it from the outside it looks like a cute little place. They offer a wide selection of drinks including lattes, smoothies, and blended drinks. We tried the specialty chestnut praline latte and raspberry mocha, both unique and delicious. Whenever I am traveling I try to support independent retailers and small businesses. Recently I was in the Shepherdsville area and found myself needing a coffee. A quick Yelp search led me to the Cedar Grove Coffee House. What a gem!! Holy service awards Batman, those girls rocked! They were quick to recommend options to accommodate my keto lifestyle and I was super impressed at the number of options. KUDOS, Cedar Grove, you have outshined all the coffee shops I have frequented recently with your keto-friendly options! The coffee was super fresh and delicious and there were fresh cookies, muffins and sandwiches available too. In addition to coffee drinks there were smoothies, hot tea, and hot chocolate. The cozy indoor space includes a wall of interesting local artwork, comfy chairs and the roaster. Bags of their roasted coffee beans are available to buy. There is a small outdoor seating area and a great drive through for those days when you don't feel like going inside! I will definitely visit this business again when in the area. I loved this place for a while! It has gone downhill tremendously. It's always the longest wait in the drive through. My drink either has too much milk, or old espresso. I tried ordering a frappe once, it was the worst I have had from anywhere. The employees always seem annoyed and barely say anything to you. I always crave a good egg salad sandwich, but with bacon? You cannot modify any food items as they are prepped ahead of time. The bagel I ordered one of my last visits was the worst bagel I have had. They use cheap products and pay their employees close to nothing and I believe that is the reason this place is no good. read more

Cozy little Coffee/pastry shop located located off the Shepherdsville expressway exit right before all the commercial buildings. The location has a small inside area with tiny end tables and sofas that you can gather around and eat or drink your orders. They also have some picnic tables outside or if you are on the go they do have a drive thru area in the rear. It is a coffee and pastry shop but they do offer a surprisingly large and diverse sandwich/panini selection. Also for the yelp community if you check in you get a 5 percent coupon. So do not forget to check in!! I made my first visit here this morning and brought my oldest daughter and her best friend. My daughter and me got the ham egg and cheese Sandwich and her fiend for the bacon sandwich. The sandwiches were surprisingly pretty large. They had really good flavor for being a coffee shop sandwich which was a nice surprise. A tad bit on the greasy side but they were honestly much more than I anticipated getting from a place that is primarily a coffee shop. For drinks my daughter and her friend got a strawberry and mango smoothie. They both were huge fans. I got a double chocolate chip blended drink and it was great. Nice flavor and plenty of chocolate and chocolate chips. Almost needed a spoon to drink it because my chips kept jamming up in my straw. Service here was top notch as the girls behind the counter were very helpful in answering questions, polite and worked with a quickness. Overall we enjoyed our visit and I'm sure we will be back. My daughters friend lives in the area and they are already planning a return trip so I'm sure it will become a thing now whenever I'm picking her up or dropping her off from or to sleepovers. The drive thru is a nice touch. I would not expect a local coffee shop to have that. So I'll have to try that out next time especially if on the go. read more

Very cute coffee shop in a very convenient location just off of I-65 in Shepherdsville on the way up to Louisville. We were looking for a locally-owned place to get some coffee and food on our drive up and we found it here. My boyfriend got his usual coffee, which he said he enjoyed. I got a chicken salad sandwich and some chips. I was aiming some something more or less healthy with this. I really did not like this sandwich. I was really hungry and I could not finish it. Looking back I should have just gotten a panini that all these other reviews rave about, as that would've been a better option. They also offer a variety of baked goods that looked pretty tasty! Overall good experience. It's a really cute spot and it's super convenient. Just maybe stay away from the chicken salad. read more

We left Louisville in the morning and on our way back to Nashville, I was looking for a place to stop for coffee and a bite to eat. This place for the bill, right off the highway. I got a panini and a latte. Thank goodness for a shop that has actually good coffee drinks!! The panini was on sourdough, and just perfect. The service was slow, but it's what I expected being a little hole in the wall in the country and they only had 2 staff working. I wish there was a way to give half stars because this place warrants more than three but I don't think they've earned four. The location is convenient to access from I-65 but getting out is a bit of a trick and can be super confusing if you don't know the area. The coffee is decent and reasonably priced, but if you're looking for something to rival Starbucks' venti size, you'll be disappointed. My biggest gripe by far is how they manage their drive-thru. They make *one*drink*at*a*time and also process food and large orders through the drive-thru. There's no such thing as "hey, can you pull in over there and we'll bring your food/order out to you" so that smaller orders can move through faster. And in the two years I've been a patron, only once has my drink been waiting for me at the window. So, you just wait... And wait. And wait. So keep that in mind if you have literally anyplace else to be, because it might be a while. Ask at the speaker if there are food orders ahead of you (you can expect *at least* a 10 min wait if there are). And maybe bring a book. read more

I was going to the restaurant next door and when I got out of my car I was overtaken by the aroma of freshly roasting coffee beans. Curiosity made me come in the front door of Cedar Grove Coffee House. The first few steps inside revealed a very clean tastefully decorated coffee house where people were sipping lattes , conversing and enjoying the comfortable surroundings. I ordered a chocolate hot drink, a sandwich and a brownie. The beautiful, demure barista/cook ( I believe her name is Peg) was polite had excellent customer service skills and make great recommendations. The drink was excellent and the sandwich was delicious! Served hot fresh and in a timely manner. By the front entrance there was an expert hand roasting a variety of hand selected coffee beans from around the world. Overall this is definitely a place I will not only return but will bring friends. read more

Good place for a quick sandwich. We got the turkey and cheese panini and an Italian panini. Both were very large and tasty. Unfortunately they were out of spinach for the turkey sandwich, but it was still good. As it was late in the day for coffee, we decided to try that on our next visit. There is a good selection of coffee drinks and smoothies. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and the dining area and rest rooms are clean. Had a nice lunchtime here. read more

The staff was very friendly but also unable to honor the Yelp 5% check-in discount, despite having Yelp signage in store. I stopped in here this morning for a quick breakfast sandwich. I don't eat breakfast too often so only on rare occasions and I've been wanting to try this place I've heard excellent things. So I went in here about 9 AM check out their menu I was greeted as I walked in the door by a very friendly young lady and I ordered a bacon and egg cheese Panini. My knowledge I've never had a Panini I'm not even sure what it is right now I just know that there's a bacon egg cheese spinach and toast. And it was phenomenal. Everything about the experience was great I ordered one it took about five minutes to make which was excellent because it was hot and perfect. While waiting I walked around the cool shop and saw they had decorations of horses and art coffe pictures. They had books and seats for people to sit and enjoy their coffee. My panini was $6 even with tax included. I took my sandwich to go and ate it down the road. It was so good and cheesy. I am giving my entire experience a five for everything. The food was a fan of the service was a five the atmosphere was at five I will be back and if you have not tried this place you need to go out and try it read more

But you'll be hard pressed to find coffee as good within 20 miles of this location. Come in and enjoy a cup. Tell them Joe sent you. My husband and I use to stop here on little dates when we first started dating. Brings back so many memories. I also did my homework here when I was still in college back in 2015. I didn't get to go inside but they also use to sell the art work on their walls. Very good talent on the walls. There are restrooms. A couch/ reading section. Indoor and Outdoor seating. I didn't get a picture of the menu but they offer bagels, different panini sandwiches, grilled cheese. Wonderful coffee, latte, cappuccino, etc. If you want something delicious and light to eat this is a great stop. Right off of 65 just past the over past. If travelers need a good coffee or you work near by this is your stop. Or maybe you just want something good. The owner is personable and friendly. You can get a frequent customer card where you eventually get a free coffee. I'm glad this place is still around and I hope it continues to be for a long long time! Have tried both a cotton candy and cookie dough blended drink and that are so yummy! Found my new favorite spot in Shepherdsville.

I just recently came back to get coffee when passing though to Alabama close to their closing time. This place is still wonderful as I remembered. I also noticed they got a sign up on the highway which I think is wonderful! Hopefully it will promote good highway traffic! I got an iced Carmel macchiato which I believe is 20oz and only is offered in that size. For being an easy stop that serves great drinks, you can't go wrong! I do wish they paid a little more to the shape of their bathrooms. The shop is beautiful but the bathroom is a little dingy. It wasn't dirty by any means... I just mean that the walls might need to be cleaned or re-painted. Still an amazing place and I can't wait to return again soon! read more
