I've been wanting to try this place for a good while. Walking in, there's plenty of places to sit and it has a nice cozy coffee shop feel to it. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I let her know it was my first time visiting, so she made some suggestions. I ordered one chocolate chip cookie and a bag of the Peanut Butter Cream Pie cookies. (Contains 4). She got it all together and even gave me an extra cookie for being a newbie and said, "you'll definitely want another!" The customer service was above and beyond! OMG!!! The original chocolate chip cookie was perfection. The perfect combination of crispy and chewy and a browned butter taste with just the right consistency of chocolate chip in every bite. Y'all I love desserts! We were driving down the River Road with no destination in mind really... We had gotten toward what seemed like the end and I pulled into this shopping center parking lot to check maps and make a plan with my friend of where to go from here.... THATS when I saw it! A sign declaring that this business had the best chocolate chip cookie in KY! Well... with a declaration like that I knew I needed to try one. The sun was shining BRIGHT and it was hard to tell if the business was open. I took a chance and the door opened... to a beautiful cafe style vibe with cake plates and desserts on the counter, a nice seating area and a few friendly faces behind the counter. After browsing a bit I decided on a chocolate chip cookie - of course- and a peanut butter sandwich type cookie. It was tough choice between the peanut butter and an oatmeal sandwich (while writing this I def wish I had gotten BOTH!). As soon as I got into the car I dug right in. WOW! Super bummed!! I had been looking forward to these. The cookies I got were under baked. Also, they are usually warm and these were not. And where is the sprinkle of salt on top? Last time I got them they were so good. If I'm paying $20 for 6 cookies, they should always be consistent. read more

OMG! This was a spur of the moment stop and so glad we made it. It was almost closing time but snuck in to grab a treat...or two. Either way, what a great decision. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing as well as the "derby" bar cookie! Have some peanut butter cream pie cookies to take home as well and they are so tasty. The "derby" was so soft and creamy but thoroughly cooked and wished I had bought more!!! The counter persons were friendly and helpful! The cookies and brownies are amazing. However, when I'm being served by someone behind the counter, I don't want to see their bare midriff , and I don't want to see their armpit hair. And I definitely do not want to see their rear end in their really small shorts. I thought there had to be health codes the way people dress there, but I was wrong. I think if a person is going to pay $18 for six cookies, the staff should be dressed more appropriately. One of the only local small-town coffee shops in Prospect. The inside is a vibe with the jukebox ~ you can't be in a bad mood here. Things you should know: I. So glad this place opened up! It's the closest P&TY to me. It's also still open even though COVID-19! Parking is easy to find. I had a little trouble finding it since it's in a strip off of 42. It's just past Kroger and Gustavo's. You couldn't walk in, but they had a table set up at the doorway where you can order. Had to get cookies and matcha with oat. Fantastic! I love Please and Thank You! Prior to this location opening, the closest one to me was on Frankfort Ave. I was very excited about this new location, because not only is it closer to me, but it also has plenty of parking. It's located in a shopping plaza, so you don't have to worry about finding street parking. Please and Thank You has such a cozy, warm vibe to it. The environment is very chill, there's music playing, it's not awkwardly quiet but it's also not overly loud. It's a great place to grab coffee with friends or to get some work done on your own. They also have a nice outdoor patio. The employees are always so kind and helpful. I love coffee, but my favorite drink to get here is the Mexican hot chocolate. It's delicious! And you can't come to Please and Thank You without getting one of their famous chocolate chip cookies. It's everything you could ask for in a cookie. Cooked perfectly, slight crisp around the edges but soft and gooey inside, and chunks of melty chocolate. I'm so glad this new location opened and I will coming here often! read more

We usually patronize the Nulu shop and I also have coffee and cookies delivered from the Frankfort shop as a pick me up to my daughter who is a teacher. Always a regular... until now. It was just me in the cafe and nobody else. I was attempting to catch up on work and would have liked silence. I asked a cashier to turn down the music slightly. He said "No, that's the deal" and pointed to a sign that read, "Loud music, no decaf." Well, that particular day I had opted for a decaf tea, so clearly there are limitations to the sign. I always thought it was just for the aesthetic. Considering the amount of money I've spent at this place, and given I was the only one in the store to even experience the ambience, I thought the customer service would have been better and the volume turned down just a tinge. Other customers I've talked to also find it abrasive. After his response, I drove to Heine Brothers and did my work there. The drinks are better, the service, and the enviroment. The barista was incredibly rude. Did not know what a flat white was. Insisted a latte was the same thing and was unwilling to make a flat white. Then when I was sitting down she back talked me to other coworkers saying I wouldn't have known the difference anyway. I've never experienced such an obnoxious person before in prospect. The restaurant is very cozy inside and the concept is totally there. The staff must improve their customer service or just decent manners. The baristas must be trained on how to make basic orders, like knowing the difference between a flat white and a latte. Would love to return when better training is implemented.
