    TheIR scrumptious PORK YIRO!!

Let me start with I am a full blooded Greek gal who knows GREAT GREEK FOOD!! I do chat in Greek with the wonderful Greek guys working diligently behind the counter to make our fabulous meals. I absolutely love the Cedar Café.. I have not been able to get back here for a very long time and the moment they saw me they yelled out... "WELCOME AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" Sure makes you feel nice when they reach out to their customers. The YIRO is my favorite.. seasoned with so much flavor and of course their homemade tzatziki brings it all together. A MUST GO AND TRY PLACE for sure. I know I will be a lifelong customer. Great food.. great people ... great service..what else could one ask for. A great big thank you to the entire crew. Love you guys!

WOW!! This place is amazing. To start with, the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. I walked in and everyone was so friendly. I explained I'd never been here and it was like a family dinner, everyone suggested stuff, the owner even let me sample a few things. I ended up with The Santorini and it was killer . It was with zucchini but I wanted to try the falafel and the owner threw some on the side and a side of hummus. Everything was so fresh, delicious, and tasty. The owner asked me if I liked heavy metal music, which was awesome and threw the horns up \m/ saying he loved it. This place feels like a family dinner; full of life, humor, conversation, and wonderful people. I'm here from Los Angeles and wish this place was in my backyard! I will 100% return when I'm back in Boston!

Pork Rice Bowl: original Gyro with rice pilaf, pita, sauté onion and peppers, garlic sauce. Very delicious and filling. I can only eat half!

Great lunch spot. Service was fast, good amount of food for the price. And they are delicious too!

The Authentic with Pork. Easily one of the best things on the menu

There has not been a single time where I have come here and not wanted to cry because of how good the food is. I don't know what they do to it, but it is magical. I don't even think I had food this good when I was in Greece. Everything about this place is just absolutely perfect.

Very happy, but any chance you can add the slivered almonds to the strawberry salad like at Cedar?

Note: They DO NOT take reservations. They have a Waitlist (through YELP) that you can go through. Since we were headed there pretty early (5 pm), there was no waitlist, so we got right in :) The good: A beautiful restaurant conveniently located in the Mashpee Commons shopping area. Parking is easy, too. They also have an outdoor patio. For all you wine lovers like me, Greek wine is one of the best wines. Be sure to check out their wine menu and cocktails. I had one of their Sparkling Rosé (yum) and for dinner a Xinomavro. You may not be able to pronounce it, but trust me, it is amazing. They bring some fresh focaccia with olive oil. Also, the service was fantastic, which is always a plus. The food: So, I have been to Greece before, and nothing replaces the food in Greece. But I kept an open mind while eating here. We started with their Hummus and Pita, which I believe is Homemade and was worth every penny. My Mom had their Special Scallop dish, which was also fantastic. Since I never order the correct thing, LOL, I had their lamb chops and they were good but not great. They were a bit too charred, if you know what I mean, and the seasoning on them was a bit much. I also ordered their Horiatiki Salad, which, if you go to Greece, you will see. It is pretty much a Greek Salad but with no lettuce. I was a bit disappointed since this salad was huge and I could barely eat it. I ended up bringing it home to have leftovers. The feta and olives were amazing since they were on top and easy to get to. This would be a great salad to share. Overall: I did enjoy Estia, but I think next time I need to order something else. Cheers!

This is not a place where a waitress comes to your table to take your order. We are local to the area and I created a list of places that I would like to eat at and this was one of them. I had Mediterranean food once before and that was in North Carolina and this restaurant was way better. The food was hot. The food was fresh. The chicken, lamb beef and I know I'm forgetting one more but the four types of meat I had were very moist and very good. Very flavorful! proportions were great for a hungry lady after 8 1/2 hours of yardwork. I chose to do the spicy hummus and WARNING take WARNING that is very spicy. The pita bread was not stale. The staff was very friendly. I did say to them that I was willing to try anything they recommended. I was up for an adventure, and there was not much that I don't like and that's what she chose for me. The seating area was plenty. It was a little bit busy, which I was surprised to see. I just figured it wasn't going to be that busy, but it was. It seemed very family oriented. It was not loud at all. It also seemed to be clean. The chair is on the other hand they could use an upgrade. They were comfortable, but you can definitely tell by the armrest that they are used. I thought the price was also very reasonable considering

The portion size is variable. I've had it "generous" and I've had it "Whoa - that's a LOT of food". They're not covered with a standard tzatziki sauce - theirs is more feta forward. Super tasty. The fries vary as well. Sometimes a bit crunchier and sometimes, while still crunchy, more toward McD fries style. But it's just the outer surface that crunches. Inside it's smooth and creamy. Top drawer. You'll find that they tuck a few fries into the wrap. A nice touch. The only negative point is speed. I've always been there early - the first for lunch. But it still takes a fair bit of time to get the food. Arrive during the crowded time and you're definitely going to be waiting around. But ... worth it. They have a lot more on the menu and have an interesting alcohol free beer/soda that was new to me and a nice change from actual soda. Definitely worth a visit.
