I love this place! The food is great. However, the customer service here is just atrocious. For example, I went in the other day and the young girl at the front counter was so rude. She has absolutely no sense of customer service. I walked in to get my order and she yelled "WHAT DID YOU GET". Then I grab my order and she yells the price in the rudest tone. Thought she was having a bad day but I have had many other people talk about this same issue and I am writing for all of them too. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and no other employees in the back were phased by the way she spoke to the customers coming in. I've been meaning to write this review for some time. I have been going to Pita Gyros over the summer and have simply fallen in love. The restaurant is always super clean and the staff is awesome. Most importantly, the food is spectacular. Every time that I go, it's delicious and consistent and super fresh. Highly, highly recommend going for lunch or dinner. The Zucchini Fritters were absolutely awful and undercooked!!!! When I brought them home we had to flatten them with a spatula and recook them. Not good when egg is one of their ingredients. My experience was great with the people that worked at this location but the food was nothing to rave about. I ordered a rice plate. The sauce that was on the side was so processed and oily and to thick. The description said it came with special sauce but they forgot to add that as well. I also ordered a side of hummus and falafel. The hummus was not homemade and the falafel was a frozen patty that was heated. Very dry that I had to throw it away. I was there around 5pm and the place was dead. If they have possibly made the hummus and falafel homemade they would have more customers that would appreciate homemade freh food. For many years I used to go to their old location since it was next to my yoga class, when they moved I panicked! But I found them! No one is as picky as I am when it comes to food! This will be my last visit to Cedar Cafe. I have been giving them business for over 10 years. Today, while on the road, I was interested in a salad for lunch. Because my phone was broken, I could not order to take out. I attempted to order in the restaurant and was turned away. I can't figure out why; it's not like there was contactless pick up or anything like that. The man who recognized me as a regular seemed like he would take my order, then the owner I believe turned me away. I asked why? He said you have to order before you come in. I said I'd wait in my car. He said no. I asked why, he turned and walked away. I guess my money is no good there so I will find another place for take out.
