Our First time and we were impressed. The wait staff was so friendly and right away got our drink order. Shortly after we ordered our food. I ordered the carnitas tacos and the other half ordered the crispy shrimp tacos with a side of rice and beans. We were surprised as to how fast our order came out and such a nice presentation. The taste...Chefs kiss!!! Everything was fresh and delicious!!!

What a disappointment after years of going here and raving about the staff and food. The staff is still awesome. However, we make it a point to stay local when we can and even though we had other spots we could have gone to for cinco de mayo we stay true to our locals and went here for I dont know, 4-5 years now. Usually we ride our bikes and the dj is pumping Mexican songs outside, but this year with the rain we drove and entered a quiet restaurant with American 80's tunes?!?! Figured it was 3pm so maybe they were starting late this year. Staff put on corona cowboy hats and I figured it would start... nope. Girl showed up for free tequila tasting... five minutes later she left?!,!,! ??? Tables are filling hours are passing. Where are the mini sombreros we get every year? "Not until later" owner says. By the time we left we had mellow 70's band finishing their first set, zero Mexican vibes and. Our food was not prepared correctly. What happened to this fun vibe we looked forward to joining each year? Owners words " I'm not getting a mariachi band for 2 people. ". Well, maybe so, however the chit chat around the place was wondering what I was willing to say. So sad. Always supported local especially here. Love the wait staff. Even the bartender admitted there was no cinco de mayo here. It's a shame. Because g disappoint as I said tot he owner who laughed at me. He got my money for the last time.

Being that my husband's favorite food is Mexican, this is one of our local go tos. The owner and staff are extremely welcoming, kind, and attentive. They just recently expanded this restaurant and I couldn't be happier for them. The food has never let us down. Never! They start you off with complimentary nachos and salsa. For apps, we ordered the Creamy Gorgonzola Jalapeño Mussels - ufff, this sauce though?! Obsessed! We almost asked for more bread for dipping lol We also tried their Pupusa (Revuelta) for the first time and loved it! I'm part Salvi so I'm picky with where I order pupusas from but, I wasn't disappointed at all. Their Molcajete Mixto is my fave, however, this most recent visit, I tried their Molcajete Marinero, as it was a weekly special & our waiter highly recommended it. It was delish! My husband had the Enchiladas Mixtos, instead of his usual fave, Enchiladas Suizas, and didn't leave a crumb on his plate. For drinks, I had a cosmo - yummy yummy (ended up having 2 ) & my husband had a Coors. For dessert, I had their weekly special, Coconut Flan & my husband, his usual Tres Leches. My husband doesn't even like flan & he enjoyed some bites of mine hehe They had live music going on when we went. We were a little confused though - it wasn't Mexican music! Haha Parking can be annoying. We find that we don't even bother with the parking lot and just look for street parking and walk. Cebollines, nos vemos pronto!

3.5 : This is a really pretty restaurant. Service was very kind and attentive but I guess my dish wasn't what I was looking for. I hate when you're undecided and choose wrong. I chose the chicken tacos which weren't really flavorful and simply topped with cheese and corn. One taco I couldn't hold bc the soft shell disintegrated, forcing me to just eat it with a fork. No sides are added like beans or rice which is fine but just a mental note. Their sangria is excellent so that was a big plus. My dinner date had their quesadillas and tostones which were given a plus. I'd like to go back and give them another shot because I'm pretty sure they can do better than what I had.

Authentic Mexican cuisine ! Small establishment in a strip mall in Lindenhurst but tablecloths, flowers and candles on each table . Friendly and attentive service .

It's pretty hidden in the shopping center of Montauk but well worth the visit. The location is small but they do take reservations. The service was good and there is plenty of parking. The guac is a must try. A server carts its up to you table and it is made fresh. Very delicious. I tried the skirt steak which had no reason to be as good as it was. I couldn't stop talking about it. The prices are reasonable for the quality and I will Be back.

Where's the leche in this dry cake?

My fiancé and I had a delicious dinner at cebollines and had a wonderful server Mayra. My fiancé had the enchiladas mixtos and I had the grilled skirt steak. Both were delicious!! We thought we had found our neighborhood Mexican spot but it turns out not. We ordered the tres leche dessert and it was terrible!! A little sliver with NO leche. Dry. Seemed like it was old. It was bad. We had each a spoonful and didn't finish it. This little sliver was $8.32. It wasn't even worth $2. Ridiculously overpriced and worse than subpar. Now this review has nothing to do with our server Mayra or our delicious meal (excluding the tres leche). Our server called over who seemed to be the manager to rectify the issue. The manager did nothing about it. We found the server to be a little shocked as well, she then spoke to him and again, he did nothing about it. While We wish We could go back for the food, unfortunately we won't. Management is important and it was clearly lacking here.

The location might seem small, but it's jammed packed with traditional flavors that are being executed to perfection. Can't believe I waited this long living in the neighborhood (2+yrs) to finally stroll in and experience what some might say is 'Pura Vida' or !Magnífico¡ Upon first visit, I had to try one of their margaritas and at least one 'Street food' menu item, so opted for their Pear Margarita and Birria Empanadas. Let's say Bravo, Brava and Encore to explore more of their menu. The cocktail was totally on point without being overpowering in any way, very balanced and brightly refreshing. The empanadas were deliciously crispy without being greasy, stuffed and sealed perfectly. Then opted to try their Mashed Potatoes Fries and requested a side of their advertised Shishito slaw seen topping another menu item. I loved the way they created and presented both. The fries were a perfect balance of soft but crisped with the creme drizzle and pickled onions. :* The Shishito slaw was a summery, crunch lightly dressed which has me wanting and requesting more the next visit. They should definitely add that as one of their regular listed sides. My husband had a burger with regular slaw and an old fashioned styled cocktail which he mentioned to be exceptional as well. Can't wait to dive deeper into their menu and would highly recommend to others.

We had fried cheese which was described as "Crispy, Halloumi-Style Queso Freir, Topped with Tomato, Jalapeños, & Hot Agave." It was good, but not "blow me away" good. It came with 4 pieces, so not really enough to share with a large group. For my tacos I had the crispy pumpkin, sesame chicken and spicy pork. Out of the 3, the crispy pumpkin was my favorite. The sesame chicken and spicy pork were "basic" speciality tacos and nothing about them really set them apart from other establishments offering the same. The crispy pumpkin though...so unique and had great flavor. My fiancé had Ruby's signature bowl and added chorizo. He enjoyed it and it was a very generous portion. Service was decent.

Also the deco is raw, edgy and yet still welcoming. Surly a place you could chill for hours. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, and specialty drinks. And the food.. The food is of 5star quality. The shredded beef taco was seriously one of the best tacos I have ever had the pleasure of eating and the fried pickled jalapeños were surprisingly amazing. We were greeted by our waitress & seated immediately. Our waitress was quite attentive. She was a pleasure to have around, I forget her name but she's a petite woman with long black hair. There were only two other tables occupied at that time and a few ppl at the bar. First impression, a nice cozy restaurant full of bold colorful decor, nice sized bar, maybe 5-6 sections in total. Drinks: the passion fruit margarita was amazing! I love that they used fresh fruit in the drink. My father enjoyed a coconut drink and sister had a spicy margarita. All delicious My nephews did not enjoy the lemonade (not sweet) or sweet tea (also not sweet). Also, there is only one choice for the kids' menu so we ordered chicken fingers and fries for my 5 y/o nephew. FYI per the waitress every dish is cooked to order so be prepared to wait Appetizers: I wanted the cod fish fritters but was informed they were no longer available and will be removed from the menu. We ordered the trio of empanadas which consisted of 1 cheese, 1 chicken, & 1 beef. My hungry teenager devoured the meat ones and I split the cheese one with my nephew. All tasty, no complaints. Dinner: I ordered the passion fruit (wild caught) salmon served over shredded collard greens & yucca mash (small portion but full of flavor sorry forgot to take photo). Every one else ordered a beef meal and were pleased. FYI: gratuity was included on the bill, she deserved every $$. The owners did not come over to greet us but the waitress did an amazing job checking on us non stop and making sure drinks were refilled and plates were removed in a timely manner.

The iron skillets came with tortillas on the side so you can make your own soft tacos and my kids said that they enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything phenomenal. We asked them to remove the chorizo, but both of the iron skillet came out with chorizo. They did immediately take them back and deliver them promptly, leads me to believe they just simply removed the chorizo and sent it back out. Overall, it was a good experience, if I ever am craving Mexican food I would visit. The only reason I took one star away is the guacamole was $16 and it was a really small amount for that price. Also, because I told the waiter several times that we do not eat any pork and specified that we do not want the chorizo. The ambience of the restaurant is nice, it is on the smaller side, small and intimate.
