Customer service is amazing! The owner is humble, kind & generous. However I don't want how great their customer service is to impact my review of the food itself! Onto the food, flavors and crunch are there for sure! We got 2 orders of 3 birria tacos, a pork shoulder taco & the beef queso nachos. I'm not exactly sure what's missing or what flavor is stronger in theirs, but I'm not a fan of it, it's very slight so not a dealbreaker! Their waffle fries unfortunately were over fried for a little too long. We needed all the sauces for the birria & the beef queso nachos. Since the fries were over fried, we needed more sauces. It also could use more salt on the fries, felt like salt was missing. Try your food with their green sauce, it's delish and pairs well with anything! My friend enjoyed their horchata, they also have Mexican soda (soda in glass bottles), and if you pay in cash you can avoid the credit card fee! This establishment is a bit harder to find as it's not visible from the main road. You can find it right next to the parking lots off on Main Street. The bold colors and font on the awning also made it easy to find. I would recommend & come again. I'm very happy that an authentic Mexican restaurant opened up here. This is what we have been missing!

Someone chose these very well. The food is excellent. I shared the skirt steak platter with a friend. It was perfect for two. The knife the steak came with was high quality and I was impressed. I had an iced tea to drink that I really liked. For dessert we shared churros and tres leches cake. We preferred the churros. Service was with a smile!!

What really bothered me was the pricing practice. Every item on the menu appears to have a 3% increase built into the price, with only a small note saying there's a "cash discount." In reality, it feels like a hidden credit card surcharge that's baked into the menu price unless you pay cash. That kind of pricing feels misleading since you're given the check with the assumption your payment is a credit card. Overall, decent food, but between the high prices, extra charges for basic sides, and the built-in 3% fee, it didn't feel like a good value.

He seemed very uninterested, in not just us but the people near us as well. For drinks we ordered the La Pasion Margarita and the Hibiscus Margarita. The passion fruit margarita was ok. The hibiscus margarita I had did not taste good at all. We had the Guacamole which was ok, no major complaints but nothing much to praise either. For the meal, I ordered the Carne Asada quesadilla and the hubs had the chicken quesadilla. The prices were not worth the food. Perhaps the bartender set the tone for the rest of the meal but this was one that we didn't really enjoy and likely would not return to try again. There was another bartender that we wished we had because he seemed super nice and attentive to his guests. The restaurant had a rustic vibe and seemed like a good place for group dinners or more of an intimate one. Unfortunately, we will likely not return.

We started with frozen margaritas which were cold, refreshing, and a solid way to kick things off. The ground beef nachos came loaded with queso and guac, and the extra chips on the side made it easy to share. The birria tacos with the dipping sauce were one of the highlights, juicy and full of flavor. The smash burger taco was a fun twist and worked surprisingly well. We also tried a few different tacos including a shrimp steak taco with crispy onions and chimichurri crema, and a blackened shrimp taco with mango pico which added a nice contrast. The taco of the month, a blackened sirloin steak taco with horseradish crema and corn pico de gallo, brought something a little different to the table. We finished with a churro funnel cake topped with cinnamon sauce which was warm and a great dessert to share. Overall, a solid spot for tacos with a lot of variety and creative options. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

While…read morewe usually go to the St. James location, we decided to try this one since we were in the area, and I'm glad we did! From the start, the staff made us feel very welcome. It was noon on the day before Thanksgiving, so the restaurant was pretty quiet, which was nice. We started off with a complimentary basket of chips and salsa, which is always a great way to begin any meal at Del Fuego. My nephew ordered the chicken quesadilla, which came with a side of fries. He loved it and finished every bite! I decided to go with the Santa Fe Caesar wrap with shrimp, and I was honestly impressed by how much flavor it packed. It was loaded with crisp romaine, vibrant corn salsa, creamy Caesar dressing, cotija cheese, crunchy tortilla chips, and just the right touch of honey-chipotle BBQ drizzle. SO tasty. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and added a great twist to the classic Caesar flavors. For drinks, I had a cold Modelo and my nephew enjoyed his apple juice. The service was just attentive enough. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. All in all, we were in and out in about 40 minutes, which was perfect for a casual lunch. Everything felt fresh and well prepared, and both the food and atmosphere lived up to what I've come to expect from Del Fuego locations. This spot is definitely a great option if you're in East Northport and craving Tex-Mex. We'll definitely be back!
