Went for New Year's Eve dinner. It's a very small place nothing fancy but quaint, wasn't looking for packed craziness during this time. Family owned business and waitress was also bar maid. So service was kinda slow but the food made up for it plus complementary Sangria Food was delish and priced right. Not overcharged !!! the homemade guacamole to start was delicious but forgot to take a picture. Oh btw at the end of the night they gave us a free pitcher of Sangria to make up for the slow service read more

What a delicious dinner! Started with the amazing table side guac. Also had house margaritas which were authentic and strong! Everything was spectacular. I had the carnitas tacos and my husband had the enchiladas. Both were amazing. Finished with a lava cake! All for under $100 with tip. They have a kids menu too for when we want to go out with them! Will definitely be back soon! read more

Cebollines - Tacos! - Mexican Near Me - Lindenhurst, New York

Disclaimer: All pictures I post were a few bites into the meal! The food was so great. Very flavorful. The table salsa we got at the start of our meal was probably the best salsa we've had. Perfect amount of spicy, very flavorful. The entres were SO GOOD. I got a quesadilla and my date got carne asada. Both of us agreed it's the best in the area. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!! My only complaint is that the drinks could've been stronger. read more

I was here in November and never posted a review. I never even took any pictures really because the food was inhaled. Margaritas, amazing. Chips and guac, amazing. Kids cheese quesadilla (I took a bite of and wanted lol), oh the mussels were OUT OF THIS WORLD, chicken tacos, the churros, tres leche, I don't know but like legit, everything scarfed down. Highly recommend. Small, quaint, very friendly staff. Yep, I gotta go back. I forgot to post a review and was looking for a restaurant to bring my mother on New Years Day & thought of here but they're closed and GOOD FOR THEM. They deserve a relaxing day with family and friends Cheers to 2023. You will be seeing us! read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but step inside and you will be amazed. The food is amazing. The staff is pleasant and friendly. The food is tasty without too much heat or spice and affordable for people on a first date. Perfect for people just learning to enjoy Mexican food. read more

This place, is a hidden GEM in Lindenhurst. Hands down, there is no Latin food that comes close in this town. I am a NYC transplant, and my only complaint over the last 10 years has been the lack of good Latin food in this town. It pains me when I hear locals gloat over other "Latin" places in the area. NYC has the best food from all over the world, hands down, Cebollines holds their own against anyone! read more

Too expensive for what we got, each refill of iced tea was charged for. $58 for fajitas, coconut shrimp appetizer, one glass of sangria and 3 iced teas. The food was nothing fantastic, but the service was good and the people are nice. We won't be back. read more

I love the place. Authentic Mexican food. Their black bean soup is excellent

My husband and I went in for his birthday dinner, but didn't even make it to the entrees. We were sitting eating guacamole, and my husband told me I had something on my arm. I flipped over my wrist and there was a cockroach on me. Thoroughly disgusted but not wanting to cause a scene, we asked for our check and entrees to go. My skin was crawling so badly I had to go sit in the car while my husband paid the bill. I was planning on calling management to remain discreet about the incident, because I work in the food industry and understand these things happen. However, I've tried to call several times and am told there's no manager or owner available each time I call. read more

Got myself a to go burrito. It was how do you say muy bien. Gonna try a dang quesadilla next visit and hopefully it is equally bien

We just order take out The quesadilla was very soggy and no taste without Pico de gallo or sour cream The empanadas are very different came with 3 beans salad out of the can Price are high compared the quality that you are getting Maybe if you eat at place is better ? Maybe I will give them one more chance read more

My boyfriend and I went to Cebollines for dinner last night and we loved it! We sat outside and they were very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable with the heater which was really nice. The service was great, the waitress we had was very friendly and attentive. The food was really good too! My boyfriend got the Mixed Fajitas and I ordered the lobster quesadilla, and they were both delicious! We also ordered margaritas and they did not disappoint. On Thursdays they have a band playing outside the restaurant which we really enjoyed listening to. The prices are not cheap, but its worth it for the service and food. Overall our experience was great I definitely recommend coming here! read more

The free chips are thick, some were soaked in grease and soggy. The house margarita was ok. Service was lacking, no one could break a smile. The menu is overpriced and lacks food descriptions I got chicken enchiladas that came in white sauce, the rice and beans were bland. My boyfriend got a chicken burrito and it was full of beans and rice barely any chicken. Coffee was good. No desert menus, server read from a list so we had to decide in that moment. The menu does not offer any traditional items like nachos, fajitas, chili relleno or even flan. We hoped that this place would be a replacement of Don Ricardos in Babylon but sadly we will not be going back. read more

Wow! This new Mexican restaurant is so amazing! Went during lunch and got margaritas, carne asada tacos, carnitas tacos, guacamole and beef empanadas. Every bite of every plate was perfect. We will be back again and again. read more

Went for dinner tonight for my father in laws birthday. It was me, my husband, my FIL and my 2 year old son. We had a BLAST! The food was delicious and authentic, the drinks were strong and smooth, the wait staff was attentive and welcoming. My husband ordered steak fajitas, I had carne asada and carnitas tacos, my FIL had the chicken enchiladas and my son, of course, the chicken quesadilla. We had a side order of sweet plantains, tostones and guacamole. We had the house margarita, the smoked pineapple jalapeño margarita (I will dream of this delicious marg every day for the rest of my days) and the grey goose lemonade. Everything was super fresh and by the end we were stuffed! This is exactly the place we were hoping it was. It's in the middle of a strip on Montauk Highway so you might miss it if you drive by but it is a GEM! read more

Great new restaurant in Lindenhurst. First time there. We had two main entries - Both were fantastic. The place was shiny, new and sparkling clean. Service was friendly and fast, and the food was excellent! Not listing the meals we had, because want to go back and have two more, before we rate all of them as excellent. We wish the owners much success. read more

Margaritas AMAZING staff is super friendly wasn't a fan of the steak fajitas(steak tasted too salty and too well done) but I'm looking forward to coming back to try something else read more

This was my first visit to this charming little authentic Mexican restaurant. I walked in to a warm greeting and from that moment on the staff couldn't do enough to please me. I needed a catering order for ten people in just a couple of hours. They were very helpful in choosing from the menu and were able to accommodate a couple of my vegan guests. My order consisted of the Fajitas Mixtas, Rice, Beans, Vegetable Burritos, Cheese Quesadillas, Guacamole and sauces. We also had Churros & Ice Cream. All excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. read more

Yummy delicious!!! Everything was solid! Burrito was perfect. The margarita was awesome and the chips and dip were superb.

A small restaurant in Lindenhurst but arguably some of the best spanish food on Long Island. They offer indoor and outdoor dining and the margaritas are awesome. Ask the amazing bartender, Betsy, for one and she'll make it as good, or better, than any margarita you've had in the past. read more

The service here was absolutely terrible. One of the waitresses was incredibly disrespectful and obviously has serious issues. It's very sad that they allowed someone like that to work there. The food wasn't as good as it was when they first opened. I had a terrible experience here. read more

We had a nice lunch at Cebollines to celebrate our niece's birthday. Cebollines has only been open for 3 weeks and the space is freshly renovated. We started with freshly made table-side Guac and it was outstanding. My Carnitas Tacos were so tasty. Everyone else enjoyed their food also. The service was top notch - water glasses never below half full, and the waiter even went out and picked up some candles for the birthday desert! Definitely worth a try. read more

Absolutely delicious! We made reservations for three. Great service, great food, strong drinks. Will definitely return
