I just received a call from someone in the office asking if I was ready to reschedule my appointment. I get it, dentist appointments are important but the amount of pressure I feel I have received from the office within the last year with frequent calls and follow up texts, not to mention appointments scheduled without my authorization is enough for me to not want to come back here. I have canceled appointments and will say "I will call to reschedule" and I will get follow up texts like the picture I attached when I have already canceled. I don't know if it's lack of communication in the office or someone keeps dropping the ball, but it's a shame because I did enjoy coming here without the added pressure.

We're also surprised and grateful that Dr. Yen, treated us like family, constantly trying to save us money, he tirelessly and patiently explaining to my husband, twice I think, how and why treating three different areas in one visit, saving at least $2,300 than what my husband's brother suggested better to split into three or more different visits. Dr. Yen called and checked on me @ 7:00 pm tonight, after he saw more patients after he extracted, cleaned, and bone grafted my #30 tooth, and cleaned #31 all done by 4:00 PM (in less than an hour), I am so impressed, he kept me informed of the different types of surgery procedures all throughout the surgery, I only felt very minimal pain from the local anesthesia needle, no pain, no swelling, no bleeding as far as I could tell, how's it possible? The lengthy instructions clearly stated to use ice packs, 10 mins on 10 mins off for first 24 hrs (3 packs were provided), then warm heat packs for next 24 hrs to break up swelling and minimize bruising, I tried for less than 30 mins while driving home post surgery, then stopped, since there's no need, no swelling, no bleeding, and no bruising at all. I am so thankful for Dr. Yen's incredible expertise, and Dr. Yen is so humble, he asked me how do I know he's done such an amazing job? I think it's quite self explanatory, when those possible bad/worse/worst scenarios are not happening to me, Dr. Yen has done a fantastic job! Right?

My teeth are really healthy so I don't see the main dentist often but the couple of interactions I've had with her have been very kind. But my absolute most favorite person to talk to and get my cleanings done with is Huang. She's so down to earth and easy to talk to. She's careful and wont wet you and poke you on accident. She explains everything she does. And the whole cleaning experience feels like a spa! They even give you a hot towel to clean your chin/mouth area up when you're done. There's snacks in there and drinks. Everything is clean and the outside area is adorable. I don't have trouble parking and I don't have to wait. Just walk in and they are ready for my appointment! I saw a video online recently that said it's actually very difficult to find good dentists to do cleanings because many are shady and will only have their dental assistants polish your teeth. I do not have that experience here. The technology is modern and advanced, even some of my old dental places didn't have what they have here. Note: I am a cash paying customer. I do not go through insurance. It's a little expensive compared to other places but you get what you pay for. The experience is much much much better here. And for anyone worried about dealing with people who have accents from their home country, that's also not the case here. They speak fluent English with no accent. Which I know is a weird comment but I think some people care about that. So don't worry about it. It's also super cool that the dentist and hygienist are sisters lol. How they don't drive each other crazy is so cute. You're the best Huang!

As someone who has had bad experiences with dentists in the past and suffered from anxiety--especially when it came to dental visits--I remember thinking, right before deciding to go, "Here we go again." But that feeling became a thing of the past after my very first visit. All Day Smile / Dr. Pham and the entire team go out of their way to ensure you're comfortable and clearly explain everything you need to know. The team is extremely professional and consistently go above and beyond to provide exceptional dental care. Once you enter, Rocio will be there with a smile to ensure you're welcomed and get everything situated! The staff is always friendly, and it truly feels like a family inside. They are never pushy when recommending products that would help and always respect my decisions about which treatments I'm able to do at the moment. The environment itself is extremely well-maintained and decorated so nicely. You can feel the love and care they put into the space. Not to mention, they stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology. I cannot recommend All Day Smile enough. You're never just a number when you walk in--which is often how I've felt at other clinics. Here, you matter, and you're genuinely cared for. All Day Smile is truly one of a kind. I can't stress this enough. -Omar

He was treating me with an Invisalign plan and paused the plan when I was feeling some gum discomfort he advised me to hold off on final adjustments and investigate that tooth and we will continue Invisalign treatment afterwards. That was last may 2025. I ended up with a tooth extraction and tooth implant and he advised me to continue wearing my last tray as a retainer and he would continue Invisalign treatment after I completed the healing process. Fast forward to February 2026 as I go for my routine cleaning I am informed that he has retired in November 2025. I'm totally shocked that his patients were not informed and that dr. Kwok has taken over the practice. This is what this is review is mostly about. When she came in to check my mouth after my routine cleaning there was no introduction of who she was and I had no idea that she was the new dentist. She quickly looked at me and left the room. That was my first encounter in February. I asked about my Invisalign treatment continuation and was informed she would have to speak with Dr Chen about it. Mind you I have paid in full for this. I continued my implant process and was ready for the crown placement in April and was informed that she's going on maternity leave. I decided to find a new dentist recommended by the implant specialist. After completing that work, I scheduled an appointment with dr kwok to complete the Invisalign treatment as promised. Once in the office again she was very cold and once she found out why I was there walked out of the room and had the office manager talk to me. Once agreed that she would provide the retainer my experience with her is very cold, no consideration for patients who were previously dr Chen's patients. When she was removing my Invisalign buttons she was very impersonal as I didn't even know she was the dentist. It's very sad bc I may have considered continuing with this office but if this is how I was treated I am done. I took my retainers and left the office. Sorry for the long review but I had to get this off my chest.

Has anyone ever broken their molar while eating food and then accidentally swallowed their tooth?…read moreThat's what happened to me I have never had this happen. But I was eating dinner and it broke and so I had to make an appointment with my dentist. They are absolutely wonderful here, everyone here is so sweet and caring. They truly care about their patients and their teeth. I had to get a root canal done on my broken molar. I have had my share of dental trauma while pregnant for 7 months straight, so it's scary for me to go to the dentist now but you gotta do what you gotta do. I had a panic attack cause I was so nervous. They tried to give me laughing gas but it made me even more anxious so just did it without, ended up getting through a 3 1/2 procedure. They turned on a movie for me and gave me a blanket and even a massage chair with heat. They are wonderful at making you feel comfortable and cared for! I highly recommend this dentist office for dental work. My friend actually referred me here and I am so grateful he did. Thank you guys for everything for working with me and helping me calm down during this visit. So sorry I was so nervous but it's been a journey for me all around. I appreciate you guys. I will be back so I can finish everything but I am happy it is fixed for now! Thank you again so much for your caring hearts and for taking care of my broken Molar for me today. Dr. Lewis and his team are my favorite team of dentists I have ever been to before, and I have been to a lot of dentists. Thank you guys for everything! Time to rest my face now cause I'm talking sideways and numb at the moment. Lol Have the most beautiful day :) Aloha

Dr. Kim is, without a doubt, one of the best out there. He was incredibly patient, took the time to explain everything, and made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire procedure. What I appreciated most was his honest, straightforward approach. He makes you feel like you're in good hands, never rushed, and genuinely cared for. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my dental specialty needs. Honestly, I wish Dr. Kim could be my primary dentist! As soon as I reached out and explained what was going on, he took my concerns seriously and immediately arranged for me to be seen by a colleague who specializes in root canals. The entire process was seamless. When I arrived at the office he referred me to, they were already expecting me and had all of my information because Dr. Doshi had sent everything over ahead of time. I was able to get the treatment I needed right away, and the relief afterward was incredible. What I appreciated most was that Dr. Doshi didn't just send me somewhere and leave it at that. He followed up with me afterward, reviewed my X-rays, and has continued managing my care. He is now working on getting my crowns completed so we can finish the restorative process. I'm expected to make a full recovery, and I truly believe that is thanks in large part to Dr. Doshi listening to me and acting quickly when I told him something wasn't right. Two cracked fillings turned into an $18,000 bill. Get a second opinion before you let him touch…read moreyour teeth. In my experience, Dr. Doshi cared more about his pockets than my dental health. A second dentist confirmed much of the work he did on me was unnecessary. I came in to fix two cracked fillings, one on each side. On my left side, he put an inlay, a new and more expensive material, on the cracked tooth. Then he said he needed to replace the healthy fillings on the teeth below it to match. My second dentist said that wasn't necessary. The cracked tooth should simply have been filled to match the material already there. On my right side, he replaced fillings without ever telling me. When I asked why he'd replaced fillings that had no symptoms, he said he saw an air bubble. He never mentioned that before he started drilling. After replacing the healthy fillings on my left, he told me there was a 50/50 chance I'd need a root canal because the filling was very close to the nerve. That's when I stopped everything. When I said I wanted a second opinion, he pushed back. When I wouldn't budge, he told me to remember that he never suggested a root canal. Getting my own x-rays was a fight. He refused to give me digital copies and made me photograph them on my phone. My new dentist needed the digital files for diagnosis, and he still refused, saying his practice never gives out digital x-rays. Only after I showed him that HIPAA gives patients the right to their records, and told him I'd report him to the Dental Board, did he release them. Even then, the pre-treatment x-ray of the healthy fillings he replaced without my consent never arrived. He emailed me saying he had sent it. My new dentist says they still don't have it. I was so shaken by all of this that I didn't want to set foot in his office again. He still had several inlays I'd paid for, so I asked him to mail them to my new dentist by a specific date, well before my appointment there, or let me pick them up. After a lot of back and forth, he emailed me that he was "cooperating" with my new dentist. I took that to mean they were on their way. But when I showed up for my appointment the following week, they had nothing. My new dentist showed me Dr. Doshi's email refusing to release the inlays and saying he'd process a refund instead. A week later, the only refund I've received is for an implant he never did, which my new dentist also said was largely unnecessary. Now I'm paying $5,000 to have new ones made, and that's still far less than what Dr. Doshi was charging. The pattern was everywhere. He planned an inlay for one small filling that my new dentist said only needed a simple composite filling. He told me I needed an implant and Invisalign, and my new dentist didn't see a real need for either. Two repairs turned into about eight. From the look of it, it was an ongoing money grab. The quality wasn't good either. After he cemented the first set of fillings, I had a lot of sensitivity and pain. He adjusted them over and over and never fixed it. On my first visit, my new dentist properly adjusted them and the sensitivity dropped a lot. I still have sensitivity, and I chew harder foods with my front teeth. Your teeth are with you for life. I feel personally violated that he damaged mine through unnecessary work. In my experience, he was dishonest, unprofessional, and put his profits ahead of my health. I will be reporting this to the Dental Board of California. My honest advice: go elsewhere. If you do see him, get every procedure explained before he starts, ask for an itemized treatment plan in writing, and be wary of treatment he suggests that you didn't come in for.
