I regret having to write this review, but at this point this has been a terrible experience. 1. Contracted for vinyl plank flooring, which started in the first week of June. 2. All was going well until they determined that the sales rep had undermeasured the space, leaving a 6' x 8' unfinished space. 3. Additional flooring was ordered, only to find that it was not the same as had been used for the rest of the floor. 4. Process was repeated, only to find again that the new flooring did not fit. 5. Found that manufacturer had changed, and that the new lots of flooring would not fit. At this point, it is nearly 3 months beyond the finish date, and I am no closer to a solution. The only proposed solution to this point is they want to tear up my master bath, use that flooring to finish, and then re-floor the master bath. When I finally agreed to this "Josh" has yet to give me a completion date, and each time I am promised a date for update it is not delivered. This has been pathetic, and I will never use this company again. If there were any justice in the world they would have to re-do the whole job with the correct measurements. Let me first start by saying that the day that I was to have my carpet replaced they cancelled and said that the carpet that I had chose was not in stock and they had to order it. So the day that they came out to install I was not at home on the day of the installment, but my husband was and the carpet that was put in looks nothing like the carpet that I had chose. I reached out to the sales man and asked if he could come by and show me the carpet that I had chose, because what they installed was not what I chose. Also the carpet quality is not what I expected to see. Also the installers did not move any of the furnishing, My husband and family did that. The worst installation and service ever seen in 30 yrs of real estate! I've retained an attorney and plan to sue this so called family business which isn't really. They destroyed a 6 yr old home, replace all floors w them they left 1/2" of grout & dust in every inch of my home, there a huge valleys & dips in every room. They didn't level sub floor nor removed any old grout and tile, they said they did. But they didn't. We have a textile professional inspection that will shut them down. Pictures of their management coming into my home and trying to intimidate me and then shock on their faces when I showed the. Our secondary bathroom tub. 1/2 filled with demo materials! I removed furniture clothes etc to garage as planned and where did the use as there work room my garage!!!! Not kool Then the workers don't speak English at all, the salesman was told to leave the new carpet that sellers installed prior to purchasing as I would use in my garage. I told office, i told the useless manager JOSH and the one guy who supposedly spoke ENGLISH who was in my home. All said sure NP, I was left w a mess, paid $12k CASH, I am in a mission to take this poorly run store down, I guarantee this will cost them WAY MORE then my $12k My attorney is confident as he has spoken w 2 other families in town and more are coming forward Bye bye CC read more

I have been waiting for this project (floor tile and shower tile) to be finished for an additional month over the promised completion date. In addition to this, they do not do a good job and install the tile incorrectly, install damaged pieces of tile, and have the gall to tell me that I'm the one in the wrong. I am paying way too much for poor workmanship and no communication. I have given these guys too many chances and they never get any better. I contracted with CC Carpet to have vinyl plank flooring installed at my home. The flooring was as I expected.  However there were some issues that I noticed after the work was completed. First, there was no attempt to protect my property from the dust from the installers prepping the floor for the install.  All of my kitchen appliances and countertops had dust all over them. Also, dust got on my furniture and the installers only did a surface cleaning to remove the dust so there was still a good amount of dust left on my property when the installers left. Second, I noticed the moulding finishes did not appear to have been  done correctly. Lastly, I requested and paid extra for the flooring to be undercut around my fireplace so moulding didn't have to be used and this was not done properly either.  I contacted CC Carpet the first time when I noticed my pocket door was off track. They sent someone out promptly to fix my door. The repairer was very professional. I reached out to CC Carpet again regarding the moulding finishes and the fireplace issue. Again they had someone come out to do repairs. The repairer had to basically redo all of the moulding. Additionally, they also ended up having to do moulding around the fireplace as they were unable to correct the initial install problem of the undercutting.   I contacted CC Carpet once again to request reimbursement of the extra monies paid for the undercutting of the fireplace since it wasn't done.  I was contacted by CC Carpet and told I would receive a partial reimbursement as they deducted for the moulding they ended up having to put around the fireplace in lieu of being able to correct the undercutting. I requested clarification as I did not understand how I was not receiving a full reimbursement in light of the fact I did not receive the service I had contracted. I was contacted by the sales representative, Erick, who I had worked with when I contracted the job.   Erick advised he had been unaware of my prior issues.  He informed me that when undercutting could not be done that moulding has to be used. I was not made aware of this fact even though I had already been charged but he still felt that I should be charged for the material because I "wasn't out any money." I disagree with Erick's final conclusion and feel this is a customer service issue. I had to contact their office numerous times to have repairs done. After contacting them so many times to correct their mistakes charging me for the materials for the repair is unacceptable in my opinion. read more

I hired CC Carpet to place laminate flooring in my bedrooms. I clearly explained to installer which direction to place my boards. The first bedroom was done correctly. He moved to the second bedroom and for reasons still not clear to me, he placed the boards in the opposite direction. They did come out and correct their mistake but, it meant more time off from work from me and more damage to my baseboards and my walls. CC Carpet has seen the last of me and my money! read more

I would give NEGATIVE stars if possible. These are the worst people ever to do what they do. SO MANY PROBLEMS. 1. I called and scheduled an appointment to which they screwed that up and put me on their schedule the day after they told me I was scheduled. 2. The guy who came out to measure and show me samples had 1 tile and one hardwood sample and a couple of things for carpet to choose from. *I am looking for bathroom tile, bedroom carpet, entire 1st floor hardwood and kitchen flooring. This is not a small job. I told them 2 times what I thought I wanted to see. So he shows up with 1 tile for my bathroom and it was kind of what I liked, but no other options and he didn't know the price of the tile. Then he brought in 1 sample of hardwood close to the color I wanted but gave me no other options. AGAIN DIDN'T KNOW THE PRICE. (seeing a trend here???) We picked a carpet, that's not a big deal but he wouldn't give me the price IF he knew it. Lastly for my kitchen, on their website they have tiny square pictures of tile of which I told the lady exactly which one I wanted to see, but was assured he would bring options. Guess what, not only did he not bring 1 option for my kitchen, he didn't have the one I requested or know the price when I showed him on their website. NEXT he proceeds to email me a quote with no breakdown of pricing. Just literally, here is your total. I NEVER PICKED ANYTHING DIFINITIVELY because I was given no options except for carpeting. I emailed him requesting a breakdown and received no response. I called back and was told a supervisor would get with me, guess what?? It's almost a full month later and NOBODY CONTACTED ME. I just called back and got rudely explained to by Linda that they basically don't give a shit about my business. They won't give me a breakdown (Sq ft, pricing per flooring, etc.). She literally argued with me that what I was requesting apparently is not normal I guess. I have never in my life seen a business run this way. I would never call these people again if they were the only flooring place on the planet. I would rather have concrete flooring than have to deal with the incompetence, lying and rudeness that was shown to me, a possible customer with a $14,000 quote. I stopped in yesterday afternoon, looking to buy some carpet for my house. The woman working in the store came right over and asked what I wanted. I told her that I'd like to see some of their wool, wall-to-wall carpet samples. She told me she would show me the samples but she couldn't talk about pricing. Huh? Can you tell me how much they cost, either by the square foot or square yard? No. Ok. I can't make a decision without knowing the price. On March 15, 2021 I decided to give them a second chance because previously they had always done good work except for the mistake of the sales rep (Otilio) last year.  On Saturday Laura the coordinator left me a message stating that they decided not to take on a job because I previously cancelled the job which was all because of the sales rep (Otilio) she claimed that the sales rep did not want to take on the job because he and the company lost money by me cancelling the job. She stated they took a hit on all the product which was only going to be sold to someone else. They are not the only one that lost money because they deducted money from the refund that I received. I had used CC Carpet before, so when I saw their commercial that they were offering 'Half Off Granite', I thought I would give them a call. Their quote came back almost $2K more than a competitor. When I asked the salesman if that was with the half off promotion, he said it was. When I told him about the other quote I had received and questioned how his could be that much more with half off, he responded that the sale only included 3 granite colors, and that was not what I picked...Umm, I thought he said his price was with the half off??? At any rate, I have seem the commercial several times since, and have paused it to read the fine print. Nowhere does it say the promotion was only on select colors. False advertising. Scam artists. Horrible customer service. They came out and gave me one price and when I went to the show room I received a different price from the owner.. an $800 difference. They just tried to cover it up with the financing and said we have other extra costs..The sales man Zackery told me the night before that was the final cost. The quality of the product is good but the service stinks, and it's clear they don't care about their customers. I have never written a review bashing a company, but my experience with them was so bad, I felt the need to share. I teach services marketing at a college, and I can tell you that this place puts the "D" in dysfunctional! Here are four problems that I had: Problem #1: The promotion that wasn't? Sales rep said I could win free flooring if a Rangers pitcher struck out seven batters in a row and he signed me up when we agreed to go with them an put half down now, half when the work was done. Too bad a service rep from the company called me the next day and said that we had to pay the full amount up front to enter the promotion and booted me out when I didn't agree to do so. Problem #2: One day of work became one week of work. The work was supposed to be done in one day but the workers showed up late and just so happened to run out of flooring and baseboard with only about a couple feet left. 3 days later they come back to finish, but run out of baseboard though we had more than the requested amount available at the time, and on top of that, had a miscommunication that really upset my wife. So, when they come back 2 days later, I have to be there and finally...the work gets done. By the way, between each of these visits, I have to make a run to Home Depot to get more baseboard. Problem #3: Charged my account early, which I am sure is illegal In between the first and second visit, someone from inside the company signs off on the work being done, and my account gets charged for the remaining balance. The service rep as well as the manager acknowledge to me that this should not happen, so you think they would try to make things right...but this is not a customer-oriented company, which leads me to Problem #4: Make a weak offer and don't even follow through on that I tell the manager that with all the issues some compensation is warranted. I feel like I'm a fair guy, so I say that $50-$100 would be a nice gesture considering all the problems we'd had. The entire purchase was over $2,000. She calls back the next day and says no money will be refunded but she will give me (wait for it)...a complimentary cleaning kit! Called @CC_Carpet for the "Huge" sale, they came out and measured rooms. I signed up for them to install carpet and last minute @CC_Carpet "claimed" that they did not include the biggest room in my house in the cost and it will now be $500 more. How do you not include the largest room in the house when measuring!? That is pure crap! I had a gut feeling I was dealing with shady people and @CC_Carpet confirmed my gut feeling! If you want to waste your time and money then call @CC_Carpet, but if you are like most people that want honest service and a fair price then go somewhere else and stay away from the Crooks @CC_Carpet. read more

I have used CC Carpet 3 times in the past and have been pleased every time but this time was different. I was planning to put my house on the market and I needed one room re-carpeted (they had already replaced all of the other carpet 2 years earlier). I called, Ron came out, I picked out carpet to match the existing carpet and he scheduled the service for 12/5/11. The carpet was replaced while I was at work and when I came home I inspected it and saw it was the wrong color. My carpet everywhere else in the house is tan/taupe and the new carpet was white. I called the same day to tell them about it and had to leave a message for Ron after the receptionist told me I was mistaken about the color and there was no way it was wrong. She actually said there was no way they could make a mistake, ever. Ron called the next day and said he'd be out the next morning to look at the carpet. He didn't show so I called again. He told me he'd see when he was going to be in my area again and he'd come then. That was the last time I heard from Ron. I have called 1-2 times a week since 12/11/11 and leave messages for him, but he doesn't return my calls. I called a final time today and still no return call. He even left his carpet samples here and didn't even come back to get them. I have my house up for sale and people see the white carpet butted up against tan carpet and it has a negative impact on their opinion of my house. It's a tough enough housing market as it is without the added issue of mismatched carpet. I understand that carpet from different dye lots might vary slightly, but this is wildly different. I hate that this happened because I'd had such a long consumer history with them but I won't use them again and I will never recommend them again either. read more

I wish I could give them a zero. I dealt with the Dallas office and I ordered carpeting for my stairs and upper landing which came to $844. That was fine. I had my home on the market and I wanted to replace the old carpet that was worn and faded. I was scheduled for installation the end of the following week. During that time a potential buyer came to see the property. They fell in love with it and made an offer. Our realtor had informed them that we would be replacing the carpet that upcoming week, but they asked if they could receive a carpet allowance to pick out the color they wanted. I then called CC Carpet to cancel my order. I was informed that I would be charged a 25% restocking fee. Since the carpet was $844, I was told I would be charged $211 for absolutely nothing. These people are arrogant once they get your money. My sales rep. was a guy named Otilio. He never once mentioned anything about their refund policy, and I forgot to ask him, because he was so charming and telling us stories of his personal life, but nonchalant and rude when I said I needed to cancel. If he had said, there was no window to cancel without being charged a 25% cancellation fee, I would not have ordered from them. He didn't tell me what mattered, but what didn't matter, like his personal life story. I have ordered from other carpet places in the past and for whatever reason, I had to cancel, there was no fees included. What are you restocking? I never received anything. These people are crooks and I am going to fight this with my credit card company. I question the reviews on their site because I put up a negative review and it was not there. They are selective about what reviews goes up and I am sure they are not all legit. This one is. If you are not sure that you will not be cancelling your order, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. There is no window to cancel period and I'm not even sure if that's legal. Will be looking into that as well. They just lost potential customers because I was going to leave all the contact information for the new buyers who was looking to replace the carpet as well, but I will let them as well as everyone I come in contact with, know that these people are corrupt, swindling, cheating, and double-dealing. read more

After shopping around and researching many of the Dallas area floor companies, we decided to use CC Carpet for our engineered hardwood floor installation. A salesman came to our home with some of the popular samples that are stocked by the company. We chose an expresso colored hickory. Our floor was installed less than a week later after our initial visit with the sales rep. The installers were very friendly, paid attention to detail, and did not cut corners. We moved into a new house in 10/2014 and used CC Carpet for carpet replacement in the hallway and bedrooms. We worked with Morgan Fitzgerald and Greg (sales rep ) and had a great experience. Greg came out to our home and was friendly, professional and very knowledgable. We were were planning on bidding out the job to a few other companies but after our great experience with Greg- we decided to just go ahead and use CC Carpet. He was so honest and really had our best interests at heart and didnt try to upsell us or sell us something we didnt need. The installation process was just a great. CC Carpet free estimate is a crap. The estimator came to my house and gave me a price for the whole job. Few days before the job started he increased the price by over 30%. In other words, the salesperson wants just to lock you in with attractive price, then he is adding more fees and labor. When I went to the actual store, nobody could tell me what are the prices for each tile. They are basically making up the prices for each tile based on profiling you. Based on what he told me they can start the job in few days. I am remodeling my bath and working with 3 professionals. CC Carpet cannot commit to their schedule and keep pushing my installation data. Now, I am stuck with uninstall bath and looking for a new floor installer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This is very unprofessional. read more

We went to CC Carpet to look for wood flooring. We found a sample we liked and we asked what the price was. We were quoted $8.65 a square foot. I asked if it was a sale price and was told that the owner just did his re-pricing and that the price would probably be the same until spring of next year(2018). The sales guy even mentioned that we maybe able to get a lower price based on the amount of square footage we were having done. So, we called and scheduled an appointment for today. It was suppose to be with the salesman from Richardson we spoke with. However, a salesman from Mesquite called and said he was coming but did not have the sample. Not that big of a deal since we only liked the one. When he arrived he actually tried to talk us out of having the flooring done in two of the rooms. When it got to quote time he informed us that it would be $12.35 a square foot!!!!!! Almost a $4 dollar difference per square foot! When my husband asked him about the difference he was surprised and said the woman at the office told him the price and did not know why we were told $8.65. My husband asked for a copy of the estimate and the guy told him that they don't give copies and that the estimates were just for them. My husband called the company back later to get a price quote and was told that they don't give prices over the phone. When he told the woman what happened she transferred him to the guy who came out. He told my husband that the original sales guy from Richardson told him that he never gave us that price quote for the specific flooring we wanted. We are pretty disappointed. We had read the reviews but since we had used them twice before without issue we decided to go with them again. Now it will be NEVER AGAIN and hope that future customers will read the reviews and NOT give them their business knowing that they operate in a questionable way. read more

I had CC carpet replace all of my carpet with hardwood and new carpet. There were a few problems but in all the whole process went very well. The sales rep was not pushy.The installers were courteous and friendly. I got several quotes prior to choosing CC and by far their price was best. Juts be sure that you are home during the install and that you pay attention to what the installers are doing. But that should be the case with any work! Ask questions! That way the installers know that you are paying attention. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! CC Carpet installed carpet in our living room 7 weeks ago, 8/8. I immediately notified them of damage to my sectional couch. They agreed to have it fixed and have strung us along for 7 weeks. They sent out 2 different companies and we were fine with either one of them fixing our couch. Yesterday they told me that they were just going to replace the whole piece. Today they called and have decided they just want to offer us a $200 cash settlement. Our sectional is only a year old and was not cheap. I have all email and voice messages from them saying they would fix but now they are refusing. read more

We paid nearly $3,000 for flooring to be done with these folks and they did a horrible job, took over 16 hours to do a mall foyer, kitchen and bathroom and it was a disaster!!!! They have been to our home three times already and still have not fixed our issues that they created. They destroyed our base boards, got tile grout everywhere, failed to apply a sealer to the grout so we constantly have white spots in the grout, damaged our cabinets in the bathroom and cut the tile crooked before installing it. This is truly the worst craftsmanship I have ever seen and the worst customer service experience I have ever had. read more

CC Carpet gave me a qoute, signed a contract, cashed my deposit then cancelled the contract. What kind of business are they running, their corporate failed to communicate it to their San antonio branch that the contract was cancelled. Here it is almost a month after we signed the contract, they failed to tell me that the contract was cancelled? I waited patiently for them, and they kept giving me the run around.
