The project included a new large kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, a laundry room, replacement windows and living space remodel. We were not the easiest of clients - Aaron and foreman Mark were great. They are professional and experienced. I would recommend ACB. We talked to multiple contractors - all of which were pricey - it is construction and California afterall. ACB was our pick and we are happy with their work.

I asked Mark who was the primary contact on the remodel if he could have his cabinet man come over and do the work for us when he was at their house. Instead Mark came over himself and did the work and refused to take any money for it. I think that what Mark did speaks highly of the company and am writing this review. I am again stating that Mark never asked for reimbursement for what he did and refused any which I offered twice.

I had a horrible experience with Jarek and Jim. Not only did they misrepresent their work history,…read morethey also told us a series of lies throughout the project. First, he used his father's customers as his references. He does not have employees in his business; instead he uses tradespeople who come ins and out. For example, he told us he had painters on payroll, the carpenter did the painting. He did not oversee the contractors whom he hired; when their work was subpar, I had to speak with the contractor (e.g. flooring installers) to demand that they live up to contracted services. A 3-month delay in the project he attributed to the city's permitting process. When I contacted the city directly, it turns out the delay was a couple weeks. He hadn't submitted the proper paperwork and they were waiting on him. All the work was done by 2 contractors, not the 'staff' of painters, electricians, and carpenters he claimed were on his payroll, but were hired for the project. He is basically charging a 30% markup to find contractors for you, but not managing their work. We did not let him finish the job to avoid more subpar work. His team incorrectly installed some of the trim, which cost me $$$ to have redone.

At the end of our project with Dustin, total cost was less than half that figure. Absolutely the best experience we could ask for.

We had an amazing experience working with Avi of GPI Builders. We wanted to do a full gut bathroom…read moreremodel that included moving around plumbing. This was our first remodel job that we have ever done in our first home that we've ever owned. After interviewing a few different contractors, we decided to go with Avi and GPI Builders because I really appreciated his thorough, up-front, and honest approach. He proved to be an excellent choice throughout the project with great communication every step of the way. He advised on aspects of the design, was here whenever we needed him, helped to pick up some parts for the bathroom, and was a very friendly face. We really enjoyed working with him and will be contacting Avi for future remodeling projects. Thank you to Avi and your team for creating this cute bathroom for us!

We met with several different contractors before we decided to do our bathroom remodel. But when we…read moremet with Avi and Dave, we knew that GPI Builders would be the company that we would select for our project. The main reason that we selected them is because they were honest and genuine and there was no pressure selling on their end, as we had experienced with many of the other contractors that we had met with before and after. We made the right choice and were very satisfied with how smoothly the project went from start to finish. Dave was the project manager and was very good at communicating what we should expect each step of the way. He definitely made us feel like our satisfaction was a top priority for him. Dave supplied us with a complete list of what was needed and we only had to pick out the materials we wanted. We also appreciated that they picked the materials up from the supplier and delivered them to our house for us. In addition, we also really liked how Jaime remodeled our bathroom and appreciated how well his team worked together. They were very respectful and cleaned up each day before leaving. I absolutely would hire GPI Builders again for any future remodeling projects and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a total remodeling project.

Honestly, we didn't really have a choice though...it *had* to be done. Global pandemic or not, I'd hire Paul and his team over and over and over again, they are that good. I loved that he was able to map out the littlest of details - down to which shifts of workers would be on the job site - to facilitate contact tracing if needed, and to limit my family/his workers exposure. Although our renovation was absolutely necessary, I'm glad we made the choice to go with Paul and his team. In uncertain times, they gave us peace of mind AND a top notch reno. Thanks Paul!!! We contracted Paul and Acme Builders for my "Man-Cave" project, to tear down my closet, wire my room for all the fun a man can have: play music (walls are wired with input/output for any electronic instrument) through the PA system, or just headsets (ports on the walls), have a sporting event or even dance parties (disco ball, LCD laser projector, fog machine). These guys were professional, on time and on budget in transforming my room. How do you screen people (strangers) roam around in your house and trust them? Certainly not by signing up with the lowest bidder, although many times the lowest bidder may be Acme builders as they have integrity in pricing it as reasonable as possible. Anything cheaper than that, would mean cutting corners (cheaper material, shoddy construction practices, not-so-good laborers). Acme Builders can handle any project of any size/budget. If you need a reference, I am more than happy to put some senses into you about hiring Acme Builders.
