It's hit or miss. The food is usually pretty good but the service is not the best. Slow and it often seems like the employees are new and don't know what they're doing. And the app often shows that they are out of stock on food so you can't order ahead for pick up-very, very frustrating; making it undesirable to order for a quick pick-up dinner. Tonight, I wanted to order ahead so I could run in and grab it quickly, but the app said they were out of all of their pitas and all of their sandwiches (that's their whole menu)... I have frequented Cava for several years, as they originated in the Washington DC area, where I'm from. When Cava came to Colorado, I was so excited! I love Cava! However, today's visit has me rethinking Colorado's Cava connection. The girl serving me was totally apathetic and literally "threw" the items into the bowl (she clearly hates her job...so go find another, everyone is hiring). The roasted vegetables were burnt to a crisp. She gave me the 3 remaining shreds of romaine that were left in the container (instead of refilling the romaine, when it's only 7 o'clock, not closing anytime soon). The lamb for my husbands bowl left a lot to be desired. The whole line was messy and disgusting. And the food looked unappetizing. It's just disappointing. There's certainly a preconceived notion of what to expect, and this cava is pathetic compared to the ones back east. As far as I know, Cava is not a franchise, so it has to be poor management. Anyway, the experience was less than thrilling and makes me rethink visiting Cava again. read more

Came here looking for a healthy alternative for an on-the-go lunch. Ordered a grain and greens bowl. The food was definitely good and much more wholesome than anything you'd typically find for a quick meal. Plenty of grains and greens. Sadly, they skimp out on virtually everything else. You get to choose 3 dips and some additional toppings on your bowl. For instance, Hummus. BUT they only give you a teaspoon-ish measured sized serving of each dip and topping. A teaspoon of hummus for an entire bowl? Come on. Add additional toppings and it'll cost you $.75 each. A truly hardy meal here adds up quite quickly. read more
