My go-to spot for authentic Mediterranean food in Baltimore…read more I like to order online and pick up my food to go usually, but I have also dined in. It's a bit dark and outdated inside, and they do not sell alcohol. Their shawarma is great, I love their chicken shawarma wrap with fries. They also have a mint lemonade which is extremely refreshing.

I had the mixed shish grill and truly enjoyed it! I am not typically a steak or lamb person but both the steak and lamb shish kabobs were great! Service was on point and friendly and the ambiance was perfectly casual.

This was Tulip Grill before so I don't know what it looks like now since the hubby picked up our order. Parking is not too bad but be aware that it can get busy due to DD, Lantern Sushi & Roy's are nearby. They notified my hubby that they needed 5 more minutes to get all our order cooked, and put together. Minor comment- though I like the flavor both green and tamarind sauces were a little thin. I like a thicker sauce for dipping. Also the fries though well-seasoned could be crunchier. Still highly recommend trying them out. I have two more meals from my platter.

Everything on the menu is packing a fairly hefty punch of flavor, and the servings are generous. There was a short line when I arrived, but the counter-style service moved pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes counter-style is surly and brusque; not here. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you get all the toppings you might enjoy. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that. The shop itself is small with some seating but nobody was dining in; this was not because it's not popular (see the aforementioned line), I think they're just primarily geared towards takeout. I'll definitely be back, especially if I'm in the neighborhood anyway.

I would say this is more of a 3.5, rather than a 4 star review, continue reading ... The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and out, with blue lights throughout. We loved that! We sat outside and were happy that the patio area wasn't very hot and that the nice large umbrellas protected us from the sun and were lit up when it got dark. We started with Saganaki, which included pita. It was flambed table side and delicious, we all loved it. We also had Calamari, I don't eat it but husband and daughter really enjoyed it. For entrees, husband had the special (filet mignon w/crab cake and shrimp on top), that came with mash potatoes and veggies. The steak was good but undercooked, the crab cake was good. Daughter had the pasta, she didn't really love it. I had the lamb shank with orzo. I don't usually like lamb but it was very tender and didn't have the aftertaste that usually comes with lamb. The service was very good, waiter was very attentive, replenished waters often and made good suggestions. Although we liked the restaurant, we felt that as a Greek restaurant there should be more Greek styled pork, chicken dishes. We also felt that some items were overpriced, specialty dish was $75, rib eye was $68, lamb shank was $55, roasted chicken was $39, etc. We will not return for another dinner, but might consider going for lunch to get gyros and Saganaki.

Food is great with their bowls with rice, lettuce, chicken, couscous, & various other ingredients. Staff is nice enough. But my complaints arise in May & more so in September 2023. December 2022: On my way to seeing my parents for Christmas, I popped in a movie at AMC Owings Mills. I bundled up greatly as Friday, December 23, 2022 was when the Polar Vertex came in, temperatures fell throughout the day. That night after my movie before my dinner at Mezeh, the temperature was down to 10 F, but high winds made feel like the -10's. It was less than ideal timing to be going up for Christmas, but I had to do what I had to do. Food was great as it's been at any Mezeh I've been to. May 2023: After a movie at AMC Owings Mills on Sunday, May 21, I popped in again. Their drink machine was broken. I said I wanted a cup of water, but they at least had a back up plan with bottled water for free, which was good. It's still not good though to have the drink machine broken. September 2023: On Friday, September 1, I had an unusual travel to Owings Mills as I had to pick up a parking pass from my condo company's office. I got a Doubleheader of movies at AMC Owings Mills. Between the 2 movies, I got a quick dinner at Mezeh. And after over 3 months later, their drink machine was still broken! That was completely unacceptable. They should've taken care of that quickly. I couldn't believe it. They did give me the bottled water. It was poor business. I do really like Mezeh, but if I had wanted to boycott for that nonsense, I didn't have time as I was pressed for time between my 2 movies. In conclusion, would I return to this Mezeh? Maybe, staff didn't piss me off. It's just rare I'm at Owings Mills.

I love that this restaurant is its own independent restaurant and not a part of the Atlas Group food chain (I dine at restaurants that are part of the Atlas group, I have no issues with the Atlas group, just nice to see an independent restaurant). Disclaimer (LONG REVIEW) Upon pulling up, I instantly loved the way the wording of the Restaurant sticks out, and that valet parking was available and prices were reasonable ($15.00 of which is added to your bill), because I really dislike finding parking when going to dinner or having to walk from the garage. The valet employees were very professional and pleasant. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, the neutral soft tones colors selected for furniture and decor was very cozy and warm. There was much attention paid to detail throughout the entire restaurant, I literally forgot where I was . The seating is close and intimate but not too close . The interior decor was captivating. From the moment you walk through the entrance, everything draws you in, appealing to every sense of your curiosity. The soft tones and moody atmosphere made it feel like we had stepped into foreign lands, a world of its own, gently planted in the middle of a little big city like Baltimore. It almost feels like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Now to the food, we had hummus with shrimps, I had the "Bronzino", of which was delectable, it came with grilled broccolini. My husband had the " Shish Tawouk" of which was chicken kebab served with grilled veggies & rice . The rice was very flavorful with pomegranate seeds which was a nice added touch, the chicken was tender and flavorful as well. I also had the "Kebbet Karaz" which was like lamb meatballs in a really sweet & savory sauce. Everything we ordered was SCRUMPTIOUS! Now service: (Dianna) was our server and she was so pleasant, attentive, patient and so knowledgeable about the menu, she made our dining experience unforgettable with her amazing smile . (Iman), the manager was going around to tables and interacting with customers to ensure our dining experiences was satisfying and enjoyable. Iman was so amiable, affable, courteous, professional and so pleasant. I look very forward to dining here again. Both Iman and Dianna made our date night a night to remember .

Very bland, served luke warm and even had a hint of it being frozen .... Not sure but it wasn't worth the price. I wanted to sprinkle salt over it. Ate 1/4 . I didn't like any of their cocktails. The desserts were just ok. For the price, I'd say pass. Great service and good coffee. I would recommend stopping in for appetizers and desserts with coffee, maybe.
