I was doing some shopping at the mall and stopped by the food court for a quick bite. Decided to give Baba's Halal a try. The staff was friendly and everything appeared clean and in order from my vantage point. I ordered the chicken over rice topped with white sauce only. The portion was just right and the food was delicious. The chicken was cut in nice bite size portions, rice wasn't mushy and the side salad was fresh. They do offer other sauces but I order only the white. Overall good experience and I would recommend.

    Salad was fresh and clean.

Best fresh and tasty food I've ever eaten in a mall, EVER! The place was clean. The woman serving me and on register were both super nice and pleasant. I can't believe this place is in Towson Mall. I will definitely be returning to the mall, even if it's just to eat here. Because it's worth it! If you live near or visit Towson Mall do yourself a favor, go hungry and eat here. Mark my words you will not regret it :)

The wrap is held above a white tray with some fries and leftover wrap pieces. The background shows a takeout container and part of a dining setting. The image emphasizes the ingredients and presentation of the wrap, typical of a fast-casual or takeout meal.

Located in towson mall food court. This place brings quality and good value. The food is fresh and well seasoned. My fried were a bit on the luke warm side but the wrap made up for it. I paid $9 not including tax for the wrap and it automatically comes with fries. Not bad considering lunch in Towson can easy be over $15. But definitely check this place out.

Chicken, rice, salad - Two aluminum takeout containers filled with halal food are placed on a granite countertop. Each container contains rice, chunks of seasoned meat, and a side salad with lettuce, cabbage, and cucumber. A white plastic shopping bag from Baba's Halal, featuring their logo and social media handles, is positioned behind the containers. The image captures a meal ready for pickup or delivery from Baba's Halal restaurant.

I've only had Halal a couple times from food trucks so it was cool to see this restaurant in the Towson Town Center food court. Service was quick and they were pretty cool as I asked a few questions. I was curious whether or not the chicken was spicy because of the color lol. The young lady reassured me it wasn't severely spicy and she was right. The red sauce on the side however, whew! The red sauce is delicious but omg it's spicy; a little goes a long way lol so be careful. The white sauce is so tasty. I really enjoyed it with the chicken, rice, and fresh salad. I didn't try my husband's lamb because it's not my preference but I may try next time just to see if I like the way they prepare it. The food is fresh. The portions are nice. Both platters were about $9; well $12 for my husband's since I added lamb. We'll definitely be back. The food was really good and I'd definitely like to try the gyro!

Lamb/Chicken Rice Platter - The image shows a metal takeout tray containing two main dishes topped with white sauce. One side has chunks of lamb with a dark, cooked appearance, and the other side features pieces of chicken with a reddish sauce. There is shredded purple cabbage and rice visible at the edge of the tray. A black plastic fork is inserted into the lamb portion. The tray is placed on a surface with a white paper liner that has red markings.

Stopped in the food court for some grub and saw this place and wanted to check it out. The gyro is the best I've ever eaten in a long long time! The line was incredibly clean. The food presentation was nice and neat. The cook made my gyro to order and all the ingredients were fresh. The two young ladies that were working the front were super nice! I don't know what is in that spicy red sauce but I would love to take a bottle of that home! I'll be back very soon

Falafel wrap close-up - A falafel wrap features fried falafel balls topped with white sauce, along with fresh lettuce, tomato, and cucumber slices. The wrap is partially covered with aluminum foil, and the ingredients are visible inside a pita bread. The dish is served on a white tray, with some potato wedges visible on the side.

Exceptional food! I ordered a falafel wrap, which came with fries, and my meal did not disappoint. The wrap was filled with cucumbers, onion, lettuce, and white sauce, which greatly complimented the falafel inside. Fries were crispy and the perfect thickness. It was my first time having falafel (and halal food in general), and I'm glad to say that it was even better than expected. However, I did wait for around 10 minutes to get my order, even though I was the second person in line during a non-busy time. I believe they were a little overwhelmed with managing online orders, but overall, I had a great experience and would recommend.

A metal food tray on a wooden table holds a salad with lettuce and tomato, cooked meat topped with shredded cheese, and a creamy white sauce. A black fork is inserted into the food. In the background, there is a Coca-Cola cup and an empty aluminum tray with some sauce residue. The setting appears to be a casual dining area.

I ordered the Koobideh Kebab (ground beef), which was tender, juicy, and large. The rice also was light and flavorful. I only wish the dish came with a few veggies on the side and some tzatziki sauce but you can ask (and probably pay) for it. My friends enjoyed their salmon and lamb kebab. I tried my husbands Fessenjan, a sweet and sour chicken stew. It was sweet and delicious and came in a large portion and with rice. All in all, a fantastic place! They were neatly layered and the condiments used, yielded minimal flavor. These burgers required some doctoring up. 2a) The Bean: Vegetarian chipotle black bean burger w/ cheese & bacon w/ blue cheese, pickles, red onions, caramelized onions, jalapeños, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce. One would think with everything listed here, this would be one juicy veggie burger PACKED w/ flavor. Nope. Not the case. It wasn't a bad burger but it needed a lil more attention. The patty itself was ... DRYYYY *cough cough*. Don't need another black bean burger here. 2b) The Chicken: Crispy (or grilled) w/ cheese, lettuce & tomato. The bestie enjoyed his sandwich. It was a decent size and he enjoyed the flavor profile so... SCORE!!! We also split an other of the Large Tater Tots. It was a generous sizing and did what they needed to do. Nothing bad. Nothing great. Just flavorless tater tots - crispy outside, pillow like inside. They weren't even dusted w/ salt but... I digress. Overall, I can say I've been. I was recently feeling like a late night burger, typically when most burger spots are closing up. With their late hours and short drive, BB made sense. When I've sat down, the service was good and servers were very polite (and kind about my attempts to speak Persian), but man I cannot get over the weird ambiance--it seems like others can't either; takeout orders predominated by at least 5:1 every time.
