Grains Bowl

Cava is honestly my favorite place to order from currently. The food is amazingly fresh and SO yummy. I never leave any of it and even after I finish my bowl I always want more. The service I'm sure goes hand in hand and is amazing. I haven't been to a Cava, however I'm sure the vibes are on point also. 100/100 would recommend! I always love eating Cava!!

I've been to this CAVA location a few times now and I've had several good experiences. Great seating layout inside and out with many options to choose from. The food has always been consistent in quality and taste. Customer service is just ok. I'll definitely keep returning though!

Cava again??!! Yes yes indeed, I love it that much.... lol today it's chicken shawarma !!! It's solid not as flavorful as the lamb but the sauces and other additions really bring it all together. I'm not sure when my cava addiction will die down but maybe you could help me? Have a nice day folks :)

CAVA is a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant. Think chipotle but better. It's a super quick grab and go meal but this location has plenty of seating if you'd prefer to stay. I'm just usually popping in for something quick. The process is like any build your own venue. You choose a base, grain, protein, dips (i.e hummus), toppings (so many options here) and sauces (again so many options). The food is consistently fresh, the service is usually very friendly and I've never had any issues. It's my understanding they have a few locations in the area but I have appointments near this spot so it's usually my go-to. Worth the try if you're looking for something fast, casual and honestly (in my opinion) super affordable for the quality and size of the meal. I snagged two bowls to go so I could have the extra one for lunch tomorrow.

Bowls, friends, good times

After a great run, my friends and I decided to refuel at Cava, and it was the perfect choice. Their bowls are not only delicious but packed with fresh ingredients that really hit the spot. The flavors were amazing, and it felt good to have such a healthy, satisfying meal after our workout. The ambiance was lively, and the music made the experience even better--lots of groovy tunes that set an upbeat vibe. A special shoutout to Jade, who made our visit memorable too, she was very attentive and gave great recommendations for next time we come:)

Super delicious fresh food, great service and amazing lemonades. My favorite lemonade is a mix of Bluberry Lavender/ Cucucmber Mint/ Classic lemonade -- just sooo good and not too sweet. Great locations, seats available inside and outside. The best place to eat super delicious bowl with fresh ingredients of your choice. Plenty of meat and veggies options both for meat lovers and vegetarians.

For a 1st timer, CAVA will be overwhelming with all the varities and options. However, this review is for my 2nd time going to CAVA, different location and totally different vibe because it was in downtown Tampa. This place is excellent for anyone with dietary restrictions or needs. They serve HUGE portions which means LEFTOVERS! It even tasted better the next day. The food is definitely fresh and I am a huge fan of the cucumber mint lime drink! Delicious!

I came in a few month ago with my BF and I was so overwhelmed by the options I just let him order/eat and I missed out!! A friend suggested it this week and I looked at the website; holy grail of Cava information!!! The build your own bowl choice gives in depth descriptions of every single item and how best to compile your bowl. After about 45 min I finally made all my choices and the website made it easy to order for grab and go pick up (although now I can also order in person!). The food was SO fresh, healthy and the chicken had quite the kick! I felt full? Energized and ready for the afternoon which is not usually the case after eating a bowl! Already can't wait to try another bowl and love that each one comes with a little complimentary side of pita! Great place and easy location for pick up!

Honey harissa chicken bowl with balsamic date dressing (make your own)

Cava is my obsession at the moment. I go here atleast once a week for a fresh, healthy delicious meal. They are the new "Mediterranean chipotle", you can go down the line and pick anything you like. Ambiance is nice, bright, and open. Lots of windows so the dining area gets a lot of sunlight which is nice. The honey harissa chicken is my favorite with the balsamic date dressing. It is spicy with a little bit of sweetness. I love to mix the lemonade and blueberry lavender drinks to have a blueberry lemonade. The service here is great, especially the manager (he is a sweetheart), but I do have to say be careful about coming late at night because they do run out of things a lot. Go park by Bulla for free parking and walk over. Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite places in tampa to grab a quick meal!!

First time getting a pita wrap at Cava! Typically a huge bowl girl, but was feeling like switching it up this time. The wrap was delicious, but SO MESSY! I ended up having to eat it with a fork and knife! However, the pita was nice and soft, and I loved everything I put in the wrap - just a messy meal. Will probably stick to bowls for the most part, but I liked being able to try something new!

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. In the spirit of expanding our culinary pallet, we ordered two apps that were new to us. The Kebbeh was very good - i'd say similar to a meat hush puppy? Krispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The Baba Ganju was different than what I was expecting and not something I personally liked (not any fault to the dish, I'm just a texture person). The chicken shawarma and gyro platter (it's a platter at dinner) were FANTASTIC! Seriously, so much flavor, fresh, the meat was not overly cooked. Everything tasted very fresh and we seriously had no complaints!! We also ordered a side of Batata, which are sort of crispy potato cubes with chili flakes + garlic - so good! I will say when we got there, there was a mishap and we waited over 20 minutes to be greeted and introduced to our server after we sat down. Once our server realized we were in her section, the rest of our service was amazing! I think that was just a one off fluke, and I would not let it negatively impact my experience.

I got the chicken shawarma and it's served deconstructed (as in you get the meat, veggies, and hummus all separate with pita to make it yourself) and the chicken was really lacking flavor. My brother got the chicken kebab and also thought the chicken was bland. My girlfriend got the gyro (also served deconstructed) and we both thought it was the best dish but also nothing special. In terms of parking, there is no parking lot. There is some free street parking but it is limited.

I first came here with some friends after a Lightning game a few weeks ago at around 11 PM and was…read moreleft feeling meh about it. I ordered a whiskey sour that was just okay - no froth of any kind on the top, which was kinda disappointing. I really enjoyed the feel of the place on the inside, though. It was very warm and cozy - I think everyone feels the same way. They've done a phenomenal job with the design choices inside. That first experience did not turn me off from trying them out again due to the ambiance and the solid experience with our server, who handled our large group well. I returned yesterday prior to another Lightning game with my dad. It admittedly was not my first choice, but after seeing how ridiculously packed Yard House was and seeing that another bar of choice was not open, we landed on Predalina. It was booming in there prior to the game, with a mix of other fans and also better-dressed-than-I patrons who were obviously there specifically for Predalina and not just getting pregame cocktails. There were a few single chairs available at the bar - no two seats open next to each other - meaning one person in our party of two had to stand. No big deal and to be expected, given the time of day and the influx of people downtown for the game. We were greeted by our bartender, Jada, and boy, were we lucky to have her! I started with another whiskey sour - specifically requesting egg white this time and choosing Michter's as my liquor of choice. My dad got their in-menu Old Fashioned. His drink was out quite quickly and was great, with the flavors being slightly reminiscent of chocolate milk - in a good way. Mine took a bit longer, with her having the extra step of needing to add the egg, but it was worth the wait! It was very smooth and easy to sip on, not too sweet and not too sour. After we finished those, we ordered the zucchini chips (picture poorly taken by yours truly) and made a bit of a request of Jada. We asked if there were any drinks she had been working on or that she enjoyed making, adding that we were fine with any liquor other than vodka - something from bourbon to gin or mezcal - and left it all up to her. She ended up making us a mezcal sour (I think, also pictured). I am not the biggest mezcal fan myself, unlike my dad, but I always love trying what the bartender likes to make, and this cocktail definitely improved the mezcal experience for me. It made it much smoother, getting rid of the slight bitterness that you can get with mezcal sometimes and making the smokiness more bearable. My dad then requested she make one more of that same drink, but with Laphroaig instead, to see how that interacted with the other flavors of the cocktail. It had a similar effect, neutralizing a bit of the smokiness that, to me, is too much with Laphroaig on its own. Hats off to Jada for making some kick*** cocktails and, seemingly, having fun doing it - that's a big part of the experience, seeing the bartender enjoying their art. This is a great place for a night out with friends, a date night, or pregaming hockey games - or any other reason you may have to go somewhere and enjoy solid food and great cocktails - at least as long as you get Jada as your bartender. I can't speak for the other bartenders... yet.

There was never a reason to go back when you can instead walk an extra 30 seconds and go to Boulon. I ran into a guy that told me he loved going to Predalina Happy Hour. The happy hour is every day from 3-5pm. I had never been for happy hour, and this guy raved about how good the burger was so I thought I'd make my first appearance here since it opened. What really caught my eye though was, "Room Service." You get two dirty martinis, Predalina Caesar, kalamata aioli, crispy fries all for $35. I have recently got into dirty martinis so I really enjoyed both of mine. Now for the food, I would skip the Caesar salad and the fries. You are literally served like an entire 5 pound bag of fries. The fries tasted fine, but I felt like it was enough fries for a family of 4. The salad was pretty bland and blah. I asked if next time substitute all of the food and trade it for a 3rd dirty martini. They said no. What a gip. There's no point of this "deal" when the food is barely eatable. I still really wanted to try the burger even after 5 pounds of fries. So I did end up getting the $16 Predalina Burger. The burger was totally worth it. Way better than Room Service. I thought the burger was on par with Boulon. I also tried an $18 Monkey Business. Not nearly a strong enough mezcal taste for me. The drink fell flat. I still don't see why anyone would come here over Boulon. I just don't get it. Now when you are inside it's like you're eating in the dark. Open the curtains. Let some light in. What in the world is management here thinking? You have to use the flashlight on your phone to find your way around at all. I might try this spot one more time, but I've never been impressed when coming here. There are just too many better options on Water St.

We waited about 15 minutes just to get our check, and other tables around us waited close to 30 minutes to check out, not including the actual payment process. The menu isn't very typical, but the offerings themselves were interesting. We ordered the chicken, which was genuinely amazing and definitely the highlight of the meal. We also got the hummus. The hummus itself was good, but the portion was extremely large, and the pita bread that came with it was very thin and tasted a little stale. The French fries were really good. One thing they could improve on is the food presentation. Our plate had all the chicken piled on the bottom, fries on top, and the pita bread laid over everything, which felt a bit odd visually. The restaurant has a lot of potential, but the menu could benefit from being expanded a bit. There's also a mixed meat option on the menu priced at $200, which feels very high for the area. That said, the outside patio is really cute. If you do decide to come and try this place, I'd definitely recommend sitting outside. Overall, good food with room for improvement in service, presentation, and menu variety.

Pro-tip: additional parking is located just down the street (look for the blue building with signage). I got to enjoy brunch on the outdoor patio (covered, breezy, and dog-friendly) recently and was blown away. The spanakopita was the perfect, flakey, savory intro and then paired perfectly with the sweet baklava coffee cake and croissant cinnamon roll. All three were exceptional and next time I'll go next door to their market and buy some to take home. From there we dug into breakfast dishes. I shared the Strapatsada (vegetarian, but you can add meat options), which is a Greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette; along with the Med Morning Yogurt Bowl (v, gf) featuring fresh berries, house granola, mint, greek thyme honey. The granola was clearly house-made and I would also opt to purchase it at the market if they sell it! Both dishes were satisfying and hit the savory/sweet combo I was searching for.
