I came here for a picture op to be honest. We don't try the food and if you want to sit by the decor and decked out areas, you have to buy an entree per person. So we took our pics which the staff were nice about and then we sat at the bar for a couple drinks and fries for my daughter. My daughter loved the fries and still talks about the restaurant. Parking on site. Would return.

I struggle with this review because if we are judging on food only then the masses are correct, it's underwhelming for the high price point they are asking for. To be more fair and food aside, the staff were great and quick to seat us. Our server was so sweet and our drinks and apps came out pretty quick. Our entrees were very delayed and tables were being served left and right before our entrees came out. I can't really blame her for that. It could have been a kitchen problem. The rooms are very beautifully decorated through the entire restaurant. The place is so big and you can't really walk around to see everything but you can tell they put a lot of details into each room. From a marketing standpoint, I gotta give them credit for creating an experience that has attracted people from all over to come and see for themselves. We drove an hour to check it out. Their marketing was successful and you gotta give credit where credit is due.

Ok, now I'm on board with everyone else lol Food quality has really gone downhill. And the servers don't care if you like your food or not. I got charged $10 for a mocktail that tasted like seltzer (not even sprite) and grenadine. I had a fresh muddled strawberry mocktail at Capital Grille the prior day for only $6. The food comes out too fast since they want to rush you out. You are allotted 90 minutes for a table for 2, however in spite of asking to not have our food rushed, our entrees came out on the heels of our salads, and only 23 minutes after we sat down. So I kept that bland uneaten bowl of bolognese in front of me for another 67 minutes and revenge lingered for the full 90 minute allotment. $125 for lunch without alcohol, and the decorations aren't even as good as they used to be. I'll skip it going forward,

Hate to agree with everyone, but this place is a definite must try for one thing and one thing only. The decorations. If only the food was good here, this would be the only place to go for special occasions. I brought my baby girl here for Valentine's Day and we were just not wowed. The Wicked theme from last year is still up and was the area we dined in. Even the decorations to me fell flat, almost tired. It's just not worth the price. Like everything the food was just for looks too. Flavor was lacking. I spent a pretty penny on the ribeye and it came out barely cooked and tasted old. The cheese plate was ok! Overall, we're disappointed for sure.

First time here and wow -- the decorations were absolutely out of this world. Every room had a different theme, and it's honestly crazy how much effort and creativity the restaurant and staff put into decorating. The food was really good, the service was quick, and the whole experience was fun and memorable. Definitely worth checking out.

Heard about this restaurant and it's definitely popular for the decor! We visited when it was jungle theme and it was amazing, extravagant, and decorated far beyond expectations. We visited on a weekend evening and it was pretty empty. Our waitress was so friendly and even offered to take our photo in front of the decor! We were welcome to walk around outside and inside the restaurant to look at the displays. The food was good, and a bit pricey, but I feel the price is due the decor and experience. It's a great place for a special occasion. The garlic bread was the star of the show - highly recommend.

Came here to celebrate my friends birthday and it was a good time! Honestly, we didn't know what to expect since the reviews were so low, but we walked out happy and very surprised! We made reservations for a Saturday at 6pm and it was definitely busy. Mostly all tables were filled. We definitely recommend making a reservation. There are a bunch of different dining areas all with different decorations. As we came in the beginning of March they had a beauty and the beast theme and valentine's day room. So so beautiful! I would definitely do another celebration here or a date night. The food wasn't the best, but it was bad at all! Not fresh pasta, but everything still tasted good. I got the chicken marsala and thought it was tasty, loved the mashed potatoes. My friends also liked their dishes. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but it's expected for the dining experience. You have to get the cheese bread as it is what they are famous for! The service we received was great! Very attentive, didn't feel rushed, and didn't have to wait too long for food or to order. Note: they charge for birthday dessert. Huge parking lot!

I'm honestly so impressed with this place especially because I've read some of the reviews before going and was actually shocked by how much better I thought it was gonna be So if you're like me, and you read a lot of reviews, you probably saw that a lot of people were doing thumbs down on the food at this restaurant, but I personally thought this food was really really good. I got the half roasted duck, and I was really pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was it was cooked really well and had this really yummy glaze on top of it and it came with a stir fried vegetables, which was Sweet potato corn, and kale, and it was just really perfect to side along with it And I'm not the biggest foodie when it comes to food and exactly what specific ingredients just pair with what but I will say that I enjoyed my meal and I would not give it a super low score Secondly, a lot of people at the table that I was sitting with also enjoyed their meals and we got a very big variety of what the menu offered The service was pretty good. I will say that the ambience of the restaurant is definitely what pulls people in. I mean they do an amazing job at the decor and really making it feel like immersive experience. My whole table we said it felt like we were in Disney World or like universal or something. Our service was very friendly, but our waitress a bit interesting because there was one portion of the evening where she was kind of yelling at a bus boy and that was just a little weird But other than that, I had a great time and I don't think I would come back because I already saw all the decor, but it was very fun if you're obsessed with wicked

I recently had the pleasure of going on a date here, and we had a great time!! We had reservations, and were seated immediately..our waiter Greg was very attentive and friendly. We had the Mango Calamari for an app, Rigatoni with Vodka sauce and Chicken Parm with Spaghetti, for our meals. We both enjoyed our food and the portions were huge. We didn't have dessert, but, they had some yummy choices. It was pricey, but, worth it for the amazing decor. We would definitely go back if a cool theme sparked our attention. The unpaved parking lot we had to use was a bit of a walk, and muddy from the rain, so that, and it being a bit warm inside were our only negatives. Thank you Greg and staff for a lovely evening.

This is the best holiday decorated restaurant in Ct. The service was great and drinks were good. The cheesy garlic bread was good. The only negative is that the entrees were luke warm. I was told that the manager decorates the place and he does an excellent job at it. Had the food been hot I would have given 5 stars

Not that much to say about this place... We went here for my friends birthday, a group of 8. Normally, at a restaurant, you can either sit right away or you have to wait until a certain number of people in your party have arrived, but here, it's all 8 people. So we sat a bit late (not the restaurants fault, and they did have a designated waiting area which was thoughtful, but small.) I was planning on ordering appetizers and splitting with friends, but then my friend informed me that in the reservation every person is REQUIRED to order an entree, and as someone who's a vegetarian/loves to split smaller plates, I thought this was absurd. So we ordered the entrees, and then our waiter told us if we got a salad it NEEDED a protein... weird. Also, pasta without protein was $28. Already. One thing that was great was the service! Our waiter Isiah was very personable and kind. 10/10 service. Total was 253 for only entrees for 8 people. Rooftop was pretty but nothing memorable.

First time coming here and it was absolutely amazing! Food was hot , fresh and very tasty. chicken parmigiana, surf and turf that consisted of lobster raviolis and Filet mignon ! Can't forget the fresh white wine sangria. For dessert I enjoyed chocolate peanut-butter cake. The atmosphere here is amazing! We enjoyed the winter extravaganza .It was the perfect date night. Definitely will be back in the future!

Are Christmas decorations still up?

They are up until March

Can you walk around the whole restaurant to see the decorations?

You can if you want too but you can tell the servers get pissy about it. Very rude waitstaff.

Is there a kids menu?

Yes but it's verbal. Our server had to say it out loud since it wasn't on the menu. He sped through it and was mad at us for asking to repeat it again.

Does Cava have a happy hour?

There is NOTHING happy about Cava. Save your time and monies. It's the worst dining experience in CT. Noisy, cramped, rude, dirty dishes, warm half drink pours in plastic cups, and not to mention the smokers they allow at dinner tables. There's a… Read more

Fork and Fire has an upscale Gastropub sort of vibe and offers an eclectic menu. My family and I visited on a Sunday around lunch time. Fork and Fire only offered their Brunch Menu at the time, which I didn't know. I was in more of a lunch mood, but they let me order the Black and Burger off the later menu, which was very nice. Not all cheeseburgers feature melty slices. The Black and Blue Burger featured Crumbled Blue Cheese, Pickled Red Onions, Smoked Bacon and Chipotle Aioli, on Toasted Brioche. The burger was huge and well cooked. So juicy it dripped. A flavor bomb. I also ordered the famous Kitchen Sink wings for the table, along with a side of Blue Cheese AND Ranch. The wings were super juicy. Top Tier Juicy. But the outer texture was still appropriately crisp. The sauce was sweet and savory, with a little bit of heat. Great wings. And the side sauces were terrific too. Service was very good. The atmosphere was terrific. Everyone enjoyed their orders. 4.5 Stars

The textured walls are gorgeous and give the space a style it was definitely missing before. As usual, the happy hour menu never disappoints. The Pomjito is a personal favorite.. refreshing, light, and not too sweet. We also got the oysters and mussels, both solid. The mussel sauce was unique compared to a typical tomato base, which we really appreciated. For my entrée, though, I was disappointed to see that the tuna salad I always order had completely changed. It used to be an arugula salad with Asian flavors and the tuna served on top. Now it It's a Niçoise salad, and the tuna is awkwardly placed on the side. Nothing about the tuna tasted like it did before. I'm usually a sucker for ahi tuna, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing ahi dishes I've ever had. It felt totally incohesive with the salad next to it. I really wish they didn't change the menu so frequently. Once I finally find an entrée I genuinely look forward to, it disappears. That said, we'll still be back for the great happy hour food and solid drinks. Now it's just a matter of finding a menu item I like... and hoping they keep it.
