Ribeye

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Noto Americano and had such a great dining experience! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We started with the arancini, which was perfect, then I had the seafood pasta and he had the ribeye, both generous portions and full of flavor. The space is beautiful with indoor and outdoor dining, and the outdoor area even has its own bar. Definitely a spot I want to come back to!

Service was awesome, even the chef came out of the kitchen to greet our table! The food was good and so were the cocktails

Lemon and capers, chicken with pasta.

This restaurant is very beautiful inside and romantic. It was our first time there and we got there as soon as they opened and sat at a table for two in the bar area. Our server was very nice and very prompt. We started out with their Caprese garlic bread, it was very good. I then ordered the lemon chicken with capers and a lemon sauce over pasta. I found the chicken to be a little dry and they really didn't give a lot of sauce so the noodles were dry as well as overcooked. But the flavor was good. My husband ordered their pork chop with butternut squash and bacon loaded mashed potatoes. He said his was good, but his pork chop was a little overdone, so it was dry.. I would definitely give it another try, but would not order that dish again.

Tried the new Noto Americano in Southington. Parking is a little confusing but we found our way in. It was a little dark inside the restaurant creating a more intimate atmosphere. They also had outdoor dining available and bar seating for different types of vibes throughout the restaurant. I went with 3 friends and we were greeted promptly and I ordered a summer drink called the limoncello spritzer, and it was so refreshing. Made with prosecco and fresh mint leaves. For an appetizer we shared the garlic bread bruschetta and oysters. Both were on point, and the oysters even came with a cute little Tabasco sauce which I thought was a nice aesthetic touch. Dinner was delicious, but I must say a little weird at the same time. I ordered the scallops and risotto with spinach and tomato. The risotto came with diced up carrots which were not mentioned on the menu, and I would have preferred not to have them. For dessert we tried the non alcoholic option of the nitro espresso martini with the tiramisu. I love the fact that they had a mocktail menu. We did wait a while to receive our check but overall enjoyed our dinner and experience.

Accompanied by a friend who is a self proclaimed pasta connoisseur we met in the middle coming from opposite ends of the state for an early dinner. The place was quiet when we arrived. Very nice warm ambiance - great for a date night (can't wait to bring my wife here!) Our waitress Maddie (sp?) was the best!! Super friendly and helpful. While looking through the menu I noticed the Alfredo with Cajun shrimp I saw on someone else's yelp review wasn't listed so I mentioned it to her and she said they can make it for me!! So happy to hear that. She also said there are more off the menu items that you can request any time as well - love that. I requested bread to start and we received some complimentary bread and butter. We tried each other's dishes and they were so flavorful! The house made pasta is so good - even my friend agreed. We shared a bottle of wine and truly enjoyed our time there. Pricing is fair and I look forward to returning. One small thing I need to mention is that the parking lot set up was a little weird - basically a free for all - but it does seem like there's street parking available as well. It was also under construction so maybe it's better now.

Cajun shrimp with side of asparagus

Very nice experience Saturday night. Ordered the Cajun shrimp and Alfredo dish with asparagus and gluten free pasta. It was the best Alfredo sauce I've ever had. Wow. Sometimes Alfredo can be bland but whatever they put in it had excellent flavor. I'm not a fan of blackened style food so not sure why I got the Cajun shrimp bc it was a bit dry but still enjoyed my meal for like I said the Alfredo sauce was incredible. They were so accommodating. For gluten free pasta it was very good (fyi for anyone wondering the waitress said they don't make the gluten free pasta in house). They do make their own regular pasta in house. My friend got the Bolognese and said the fresh pasta was incredible. Decor in here was beautiful and love all the wood and lots of booth seating which is nice. Will be back!

We chose NOTO for our special occasion tonight...our 49th anniversary. The Veal Parmesan and Chicken Cordon Bleu were very good as was the Meatball Appetizer. We've never been disappointed with the food at NOTO. Brianna our waitress, provided amazing service!

Great spot but horrible parking. Beware of this because you are better off parking on the street. You can only get out of the lot on one side and it is TIGhT! But on to the good.. Atmosphere and service was very on point. Food and drinks were amazing! I got a version of a spicy margarita and it was yummy. We decided to share some plates and settled on mussels and bruschetta. The mussels were full of flavor and the bruschetta had artichokes and mushrooms and was fantastic! So happy so tried this place! I'll be back!

Cajun shrimp Alfredo special

We had a great experience at Noto on a busy Friday night. We had reservations and although they had trouble finding it, we were seated promptly. It is a little loud there but there is plenty of seating. Our server was so nice and she was helpful talking through dietary restrictions. That being said, we were happy to see lots of vegetarian and fish options on the menu. We ordered the verdura pizza and the broccolini on top was the best part. My husband ordered the cacio e pepe with shrimp and I had the Cajun shrimp Alfredo pasta special. The prices are on the higher end but the portions are really generous so we had plenty leftover for the next day. Plus the food tastes really good and fresh. Highly recommend making a reservation before coming.

Excellent oysters!

I drove by this place several times and was always intrigued by the vibe as I went by. Got to try it a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it! So much so, that I went back the next week! Definitely one of my favorites now

Good food and service. Nice decor. Plenty of parking. Would be nice if they had cheesecake for desert.

We had planned to go somewhere else but it was late on a Saturday night and that place was busy so…read morewe last minute pivoted to here. Upon arriving we'd realized we'd eaten at this restaurant before (when it was in a different location) and eaten in this building before (when it was a different business). Caesar salad appetizer was excellent. Kids Mac and cheese was maybe one of the best Mac and cheeses we'd ever had, kids or not. And it was great as a pizza topping. My wife and I split a wagyu burger and The Craft Pie. The burger we believe we got someone else's, it was missing the espresso aioli and prosciutto jam. It wasn't until we finished it that we realized it was way different than we expected. The pizza was excellent however. I could have done without the pears but so many other flavors that were excellent, though the real winner was the sour cherries. I'd come back again just for this pizza.

A friend of mine and I went to Craft Kitchen for lunch on this Thursday…read more There was plenty of parking to the right of the restaurant, and the side entrance was right there. As I walked through the front doors, I noticed kegs alongside on the floor. This was kind of a turn off, kind of reminds me of a dive bar. So my mentality kicked in that we were going into a dive bar serving food. I kinda get the sketchy feeling. Once we were seated, and menus placed, we were served iced water A few minutes later, the server came back and took our order. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and some string french fries. I ordered the 1/2 smoked chicken, which came with two sides. I chose the rattlesnake beans and the creamy macaroni and cheese. Also include included was cornbread I originally wanted the street corn, as a side, but it was not available. Our lunches came quick, and my friend only ate half the french fries and cheeseburger, as she wasn't really turned on by them. The smoked chicken was fairly dry, with a very interesting smoked flavor to it that I can't put my finger on. I eat about 1/3 of it. Left the rest on the plate. The creamy macaroni and cheese was out of bounds top-notch. I could've eaten this all day. The rattlesnake rice and beans were just OK. The rice was cooked pretty good, and was seasoned well. The beans had a weird taste. Now thinking of this side dish, I was hoping for raw onions to be on top, but they were nowhere to be found. It'll be nice if there was chopped raw onions to go with this. The cornbread was delicious. I ate about half of it. It was a generous slice. While the server was fairly attentive, as she only checked in to fill the water glasses and ask how lunch was. She didn't ask us if we wanted a desert or coffee. Being old folks this would've been a great up for us, but it didn't happen. I had to ask for the check. I'm not sure if I would come back. I think this might be a one and done. The vibe just didn't hit it for me. Restrooms were clean. The restaurant was clean; the silverware clean. I don't know. It just was like a funky type layout and those beer kegs kinda sent the wrong tone to me as a guest. Lunch for the two of us was $40 and change and I left a $10 tip. We didn't have any cocktails or mock tails, we didn't have coffee or dessert either. From what I understand, the owner was near the exit when we left, not even a smile or a thank you for coming in...
