Food is excellent at CAVA always, that is the only reason I'm giving this restaurant more than one star. We placed an online order to be ready at 1900. 1916 comes around, I watched 5-10 people go through the line and order and there was no update on ours. I got in line to speak with a team member, and they were EXCEPTIONALLY rude and said I had to wait still and could not order in the line. The cook then pulled the receipt out and it showed they had completed the order at 1900 but it was never ready. The manager had an attitude, the kitchen staff had an attitude, and the line workers had an attitude. CAVA is good and we love it, but it is not worth having to deal with bad attitudes and cold food. We did not go to Zoe's kitchen for the same attitude reasons, and will not return to this CAVA until we hear that staff has improved. The food is too expensive to have to deal with that as a customer when there are several other restaurants to choose from that have nicer employees. read more

This is my second night going to cava and dissatisfied I was on Friday night they were out of bowls preparing your food on kids tray charging full price out of most product so I walked out went back tonight ordered a falafel bowl they couldn't make it because the fryer was down the items that goes on the bowl they didn't have it's ridiculous it's always something when you go there why open up and advertise when it's always no product ni Friday they said the truck didn't come and they had a list of items they were out they should of closed smh the drinks are good but far as the food never enough items then they don't bag up your food you have to ask for a bag then they pass you your order over all the other guest I don't want my food passed over other guest smh. read more

I have eaten here many times and had no issue. The night time staff was terrible and a completely different experience. A greeting isn't necessary but you can at least acknowledge me standing in front of you so I know you are ready for my order. I order the chicken avocado pita to then be told at the end there is no avocado along with other toppings that come on that item. I order a fountain drink, get charged and then handed a small cup. Never have I had to specify a large cup which is fine but when I ask for a large cup the women at the register starts to argue with me that she already charged me for a small. I brought it to her attention that I didn't even get all the items I ordered so I don't think the small difference between a small and large should really be that big of a deal. I'm given a cup. I go to the drinks to find all of them have bins in front of them I assume to store the drinks for the following day. I ask the employee standing there if I can get some of the drinks. Since I specifically ordered a fountain drink to get the teas since I don't really drink soda. She tells me to go ahead and stares at me. Then tells me to stick my hand with the cup inside the bin to get my drink while it's coming out. I'm pretty sure that's not up to safety standards. I'm pretty sure the other people who eat here don't want me sticking my hand in the bin that stores their drink after I worked 11 hours in the sun and dirt. read more

I'm from Atlanta and love the Cava near Sandy Springs. I'm here in Savannah for school and was excited for one to be opening down here. I went only for at least half of the menu items to be out. Can I give it a 0 star review? Ordered online, a relatively big order (6 items), and I waited for an hour and a half for it to be ready. I get that they were busy but I could have gone through the line 10 times before I got my food. I'm typing this before I've even tried the food. Food is very good, if you receive all your item's ordered. Service is not! Ordered 4 times from them, 3 of the 4 times they left out an item. The last time we ordered, they left out 4 items. We called right away and basically were called liars and we were told that they could not do anything????? Will not order from them again and will not ever recommend them to anyone. I went by this past Tuesday just for some hummus and pita chips, the line was long, but moving quickly. The super nice guy behind the counter informed me my favorite hummus was out, but he quickly went to the back to see if they had more and they did. I've been to this location so many times and the staff is Amazing!!! The managers Tanekia and Letty are very professional and welcoming. Also the ladies on the front was very friendly. Neka, Nakia and Jachema have all waited on me during my times here at CAVA. Nadia Rock as well every question I had she was able to answer them. I don't know who make the juices but they are refreshing and delicious. All the toppings I had on my bowl and pitas where delicious and the flavor was tasty . The food has potential but the service was COMICALLY bad. Alternating between ignoring you, being downright mean/surly, and then pointedly doing the opposite of what was requested. As soon as I put my card in the reader-she turned her back and walked away to talk to a coworker. No receipt, no request for a tip. Nothing. The food would have been better were it not totally drowned and obliterated in dressing (after I explicitly asked for just a little). Will try it again because it's convenient and the ingredients have the makings of a quick, easy, and tasty meal but management needs to sort out the abysmal customer service situation. read more
