I've eaten at CAVA locations in DC, NC, TX, NC and probably a few other states. This is definitely not up to the franchise's normal standards. 50+% of the ingredients are out, employees confused about what is out vs not, and generally a sense of confusion. Sad, because I love cava and I wanted to give this place a shot despite the other reviews. Only extra star was for the lady (Faith) who served us who declared that no ingredient is out if she can help it. She did end up finding a few ingredients they thought they were out while other employees just shrugged and said they were out, without checking in the back. TL;DR, employees were overall great, whoever is the owner needs to get their shit together. read more

I love coming to Cava! The staff are very friendly and I've had great experiences for the most part. They do a good job of keeping tables clean which I appreciate. Sometimes the bowls aren't always consistent but it's a similar problem I have when I go to chipotle it depends on who is helping you. The lemonades are delicious and the cookies aren't bad either! We have a love-hate relationship with Cava. We ordered from the Fayetteville location for lunch on our wedding day and everything was fantastic: orders were correctly labeled, all modifications were adhered to, etc. Because we live in Bentonville, we usually order from the Rogers location but after today, it'll probably be the last time. Previous orders have taken four times longer than the quoted time, veggies have been raw, and today our order was missing chips and both our bowls were completely wrong. The last time we tried to call the store to talk to someone about our order, we left a voicemail and never heard back. To find a way to report an issue about an order, I had to Google for Cava support. The inconsistency is wild. Take your chances ordering online/delivery from this location. read more

We went to eat there today. Unluckily for us, we were running late and we just picked up our food. Chicken was over cooked, dry and almost burnt... while on the other hand, rice was barely cooked if not completely raw, super hard and not edible. My wife was only able to eat half of her bowl before her molars started to hurt, and she could not finish her plate. Too bad, the first 2 times we went there was really good, but not today. Good good, but really lacking in overall operation. The work station is always a mess, with ingredients all over the place. Staff is slow to recognize when they are running low on ingredients and do not problem solve or even attempt to check when the next batch may be ready. Overall the franchisee here has not equipped his team to be successful and the customer ends up suffering. read more

I've read the reviews that other people have put on line and I am a little confused. Other than the line because of the way, they serve, I have always had great results at this place. I was sad when the old Mediterranean restaurant didn't make it through Covid, but was happy they replaced it with another. I've gotten multiple bowls and their food is so fresh and delicious. I understand frustrations about being out of product or the restaurant being dirty after the lunch rush. But they always give me awesome portions and the flavor is incredible. Try the crazy feta! Stopped in here as we were visiting Family. The wife and I had eaten at a Cava before and wanted to share it with the family we were visiting. The restaurant looks good, and they were busy but not bad. We had experienced longer waits at a different Cava knowing it's worth it. While we were waiting there was an issue at the pick up window. The two young ladies handled it with poise. One of the young ladies appeared to be a manager. Her name tag said Kelly, and she not only kept the crew focused, she never stopped smiling and making the employees feel more relaxed. And she never raised her voice or got upset, very professional. This is the first review I have ever written. But felt that not only is the food great, but the employees and Manager are top notch. This concept of a DYI dish assumes that either the customer or the server knows what textures and flavors of the many ingredients goes together to form something delicious. Since this was my first visit to Cava, I decided to get the curated Greek salad and taste what (presumably) a chef put together as a cohesive dish. After placing my order, I kept having to say to the server that I just want it the way it's written on the menu. I got a bowl with some micro greens that were far too tender to stand up to the assertive and heavy humus and taziki sauces. I did not enjoy the dish. It had a bitter taste and nothing to balance the acid in the dish. I really missed the satisfying crunch that a salad usually has. Maybe some romaine? I don't mind the DYI concept if I have trained servers to help me through the process. But if I have to choose every ingredient myself and be responsible for making it taste cohesive, I could just stay home and cook. I know I will get a much better result. The other 5 members in my group ordered the DYI bowls, salads and pitas. The teen boys left hungry after eating everything on their plates and the rest of us were just not at all pleased and threw away about half of the food. First time visiting and created my own bowl. LOVED the flavors and I personally liked it a lot better than Chipotle. However, it took me 45 min to get my food. A customer was allowed, during the lunch rush, to order 20'ish bowls from the counter (even though there is an online ordering option). It was too late to back out and leave when I realized what was happening. Cava Management - Please change or create a policy that prevents that from happening in the future so you don't lose customers that are a fan of your food. Off my soap box now.
