We ordered the combo plate, which included falafel that was crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside, served hot from the fryer. The baba ghanoush had that perfect smoky flavor, and the hummus reminded me why homemade is always better than store-bought. The grape leaves on a bed of labneh, warm fresh pita, and the garnish of arugula, pickles, and tomatoes brought everything together beautifully. We also had the manakish -- freshly baked bread with a Syrian cheese blend -- served warm and absolutely delicious. I could have eaten ten. To finish, we shared a lamb burger and fries. The fries were crispy, hot, and perfectly salted. The burger was cooked to perfection and topped with tzatziki, chopped onion, tomato, and jalapeño for just the right hint of spice. We're not talking about some goofy request like "can I have the onion soup but hold the onions", or some high-end chef selecting every component of a dish and you want it with fries and ranch.
