Place is a little small, so you may struggle to find seating but that is the only issue. The people working there are on the ball, only thing that matters with this type of food service. They work well as a team so everything is streamlined well. The food itself is delicious and super fresh! I did a create your own bowl and it was so worth it! Very healthy, flavorful and worth the price.
This was only my second time trying CAVA, and I'm already a big fan!!!! The first time I came, my partner brought me because he had been there before and really wanted me to try it. I was excited to see what all the hype was about, and it definitely lived up to it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and so YUMMY. I came back again... the next day lol, with my partner and my mom because I wanted her to try it too. We thought it was really cool to have a fast-casual Mediterranean option like this. It's not something we see everywhere, and it was fun getting to share the experience together. The service was great both times. Everyone was friendly, my orders were made quickly, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The pita chips were also really good! They have a new limited one that's sour cream and onion which is super yummy! I love having this location in Monrovia because it's so convenient, and I can definitely see myself coming back often. My only small complaint is that the dining area feels a little small and there aren't a lot of seats if you want to eat inside. Even so, it doesn't take away from how much I enjoyed the food and overall experience. I've already been back twice in less than a week, which says a lot. Looking forward to coming back!!!!!
So delicious I dug into the bowl and forgot to snap a pic until mid bite. I got the steak bowl with rice, romaine lettuce, corn, cucumber, tomatoes, garlic sauce, hummus and tzatzikis and it was so freshly and tasty. The steak is an extra almost $4 more which is a bummer thought. Their new bbq pita chips are fantastic and very seasoned. I wish they were more generous with their portions but overall the freshness and taste keeps me coming back!
We stopped by for dinner and had the build your own bowls. The place was quite busy, however the staff were moving the line fast. I love the concept of build your own, generous portion and selection of sauces, proteins, toppings, greens, and grains. The food is flavorful and fresh. Their diet Mexican cola was so good, no aftertaste or fake sugar taste. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunny and cool evening. The fried pitas were the best, perfectly seasoned and crispy. I'm so glad we have a nearby CAVA.
New place in town. Smells good and looks good ,everything fresh. You walk up to a counter and you can create your bowl or pick a bowl created. Tip: best create your own bowl comes out less expensive. They have this small bag of Pits chips 10/10 You do get a small piece of soft pita with your bowl. I order the Harissa Avocado Bowl, all ingredients sounded delicious together. It read Honey Chicken (thinking it was little sweet) well it wasn't I found the bowl spicy and couldn't eat it. Not sure exactly what part of my bowl was spicy I believe it was the Honey chicken ,wish they would have said it somewhere on the menu board. Sad cause I was hungry. Service was okay not the best considering it can see overwhelming for your first time ordering .
If I could give 10 stars I would!! EXCELLENT Service! They opened yesterday 4/2 and I came in today and everything was stellar!! The staff super kind and friendly!! The food fresh and delicious! Finally open in my neighborhood!! Great energy and food! Parking was easy and store was clean, spacious and welcoming!! Kudos Cava!! I will return again and again! Your staff really rocked today! What an AWESOME crew you have!
Came to a soft opening for cava today through event brite. All the staff new and seasoned were polite and conversational to keep time going and not seemed like we were there for about an hr to order. Line moved fast once inside. Chose braised lamb because some of the options had ran out when we arrived at our time to order. But they were refilled quickly so timing for that was good. First time in a Cava. Was bright and clean nice lighting and ambiance. Was a flavorful bowl. Added roasted corn, spicy broccoli, and chose harissa sauce and a SKHUG sauce so cilantro and spices.I chose mixed greens and brown rice for my base and came with a warmed pita slice. They have very different drinks but I chose to do half blueberry lavender with some lemonade and a splash of their blueberry soda. Not overpowering at all and tasted good to me.
A favorite spot of my daughter and I, when we want something healthy, delicious, and fast. We always get the create your own bowl, with your choice of base ( spinach and lentils are my go to), sauces, protein, and toppings. Love the cleanliness of this location, patio option, and the patient and friendly service as I sometimes can't decide definitely the perfect stop.
I just had CAVA for the first time and wanted to give a shout out to their amazing staff! They were extremely helpful & knowledgeable as they guided me through the ordering process. The food was also delicious!! I will certainly be back again!
On a Saturday morning at 10:30am in Late May for lunch. My sister and I arrived at 10:30am and it wasn't open yet. We waited extra 5 min to go inside. There are 2 booths and 4 of tables and soda machine. The server was nice and helped on my order-I ordered basmati rice, spinach, chicken, half of pita bread, corn, feta, cucumbers and dressing. It was filling as lunch. More people came inside as we were eating lunch. Nice ambiance inside and clean too.
Fly on my fooood!!!!! Yesterday, I found a fly in my food after opening my meal. I was so hungry that I started eating right away, which made it even more upsetting. This was especially frustrating because my previous order from the same location was also wrong. I had ordered my meal without meat, but there was chicken in it, so I had to drive back to have it remade. Mistakes happen, but finding a fly in my food is a serious hygiene concern. I really hope management takes this seriously.
Great new location! This morning I saw an all women crew. The place was spotless and they served very well. Will def come back, the ambience was super clean and muted colors on brand.
I'm so glad this place opened up closer to me. We go here every week. Portions are generous and they give you plenty of protein. I have the app so I order from there and it's ready pretty fast. It is in a busy plaza so parking can be hard.
Cava I choose you over Chipotle! Ever since I had my first bowl of Cava, it's been my new latest craving. Craving something healthy? Cava! Craving something good but you're just too picky? Cava! You can order in person or via their app. Start collecting points with every order. I've got their famous pita chips for free a couple times. So worth and super addictive. My go to bowl is a half grain with veggie and chicken. Plus stack on the toppings! Did you know you could get double corn or triple pickles?!? They are so generous and I can get my daily filling of veggies. You can dine in or take it to go. This Monrovia location can get pretty busy. Worth the wait and crafting the perfect bowl. Highly recommend this place! Eating a healthier option just got easier. read more
I was deciding on a place to eat, and I clicked on "healthy food." This place came up. It was excellent. It's a chain of fast, casual Mediterranean restaurants. Right now they are in Southern California and they are looking at expanding into northern California. I hope they do. The set up is like a chipotle. You can either build your own bowl, or choose a premade bowl I decided to have the strawberry sesame salmon. Lots of goodies! . Glazed salmon, tzatziki, red pepper hummus, cucumber, feta, tomato + onion, sumac slaw, brown rice, spinach, and strawberry sesame dressing. The thing was decent sized, and it was delicious. It was a grilled salmon that was tender, all of the veggies were fresh, and none of the sauces fought with each other. Everything in the bowl got along very well. It was a fantastic meal. On the side, I decided to try their harissa barbecue pita chips. I asked if they were very spicy, and the lady said no. The pita chips were crispy on the outside, but the soft on the inside, I liked the barbecue flavor. It was like a barbecue potato chip on steroids! And, the harissa was not overly spicy It made my tongue tingle just a little bit. It was an excellent meal. The prices are a bit on the higher end, but for the quality of food, well worth it. . I like this place. I really do hope they expand into northern California. Thanks. read more

The new Salmon Bowl intrigued me, so I made a visit with my wife to this new location. There was a short line, but it seemed to go by fast. This location seems smaller than the Pasadena location but did have a nice patio to dine al fresco. read more

This is definitely a busy place. They're still working out the kinks behind the counter where you're all the employees are putting items on. Your bowl is dirty. There's sauces mixed with end with each each other. Your bowl if you don't pay attention, may go to the next person, one in front of you were behind. And don't get me started that this is the bowl how you like it they insist on doing what they wanted to manager, said I could not put lettuce on the side it had to be on the top. Thank goodness at least the ingredients of the bowl is the same as always. I will not be coming back to this location. I will drive to the one in Azusa off of Alosta. At least tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's not worth an aggravation. read more

My husband introduced me to Cava a couple months ago and I've been hooked from the first bite!! I've recommended CAVA to almost everyone who crosses my path and as a hairstylist, that's a lot of people. Not one single person has come back disappointed!! Take it to go or eat in. read more

I just had an awesome experience. While I didn't get their names, I was attended by two very awesome people wearing glasses, guy with a hat and glasses and girl with an awesome smile and glasses. It was my first time and they guided me so kindly and even showed some love and comped by bowl. This is exactly what I'm talking about. I love yall and thank you so much. read more

This is my 1st time trying CAVA. My son has mentioned it to me as he has one near him down south. Pasadena just a little out-of-the-way for my convenience. So when I saw this was coming in, I was excited and couldn't wait. I actually didn't go the very first week or so after it opened because the lines were out the door. I was running some errands today and stopped in around 11 and it was perfect. One person ahead of me. Indra, who was the initial server was really sweet. I told her it was my first time and I wasn't sure what to do so she helped me a little. I ended up getting the chicken and grain bowl which apparently they don't have anymore as it's seasonal. I got it with Romain because I don't like arugula. It came with the brown rice, which was fine. It's actually very good. And then I added some great toppings, the olives, feta cheese, pickled onions, tomato, and onion mixture and cucumbers. I opted for the hummus and tzatziki scoops. I got the Greek vinaigrette and garlic (something) dressings. Also got a crazy feta scoop. The cashier today was Peyton and she was so nice. It was a very good size bowl, a lot of food and absolutely delicious. I forgot to grab the sour cream and onion sumac chips, which I wanted for the crazy feta. But I dipped my free pita piece in the crazy feta and oh my gosh, I was blown away by the flavor. I took my order to go, but because it was early there was plenty of seats/tables. I will definitely be back. And will of course go when it's not busy because this was perfect. I paid $14 for the bowl- a little pricey but justified by the amount of food in the bowl. I wish you could get bigger scoops of the crazy feta dip, though. I wasn't charged for it by the way. read more

Got there around 7:45pm and there was a long line which went by fairly quickly. They had a great assembly line and the gals were holding down the fort. They were very friendly and super sweet! The food looks amazing, they have a new drink called orange allepo, will try it next time! Great location for gym goers and shoppers, ambiance is always nice! read more

The food was surprisingly good and had a very authentic flavor. We ordered the Steak Harissa Bowl and the Harissa Avocado Bowl. The steak was tender, the seasoning was bold without being overwhelming, and the avocado bowl had a great balance of creaminess and spice. Definitely worth trying. read more

OVERPRICED!!! Please look at the hummus container. They charged me $3.55 for a tiny side of hummus. Two extra rolled pita bread. They charged me $5.50. I attached the receipt. I am too tired to complain and I don't want to create a scene. The food is great. Note: I know they just open this location. But no excuse when it comes to cleanliness. They need to power wash the outside dining area floor. It's dirty. read more
