Tried Cava for the first time when they catered my work. It was so good i had to come check out the store a week later. Food is delicious and healthy, but ordering in person was kinda confusing as a first timer. I wish the staffs explained things better instead of just pointing at the instructions on the glass. Wow! Chipotle who?!! My first bite I was in heaven. I got the Chicken & Rice bowl with basmati rice instead of brown. And although the boring name, this dish packs so much flavor and yumminess!!!! So much fresh ingredients from the veggies to the proteins and the hummus and dressing was 10/10. Don't forget the complimentary pita bread, they didn't give me any so I had to ask. I had an uncomfortable experience during my visit to this location. While I was checking out, the cashier accidentally rang up my meal with the order of the customer ahead of me. Mistakes happen, and he was polite and calm as he tried to get help correcting it. Unfortunately, the way the manager handled the situation was disappointing. She came out visibly annoyed, mumbled something under her breath to the cashier, and allowed the previous customer to speak down to him without stepping in. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, she reprimanded him rudely in front of us instead of correcting the mistake and addressing any concerns privately. From what I could see, the cashier appeared to be struggling with an eye issue -- he even mentioned having trouble seeing. It looked like he may have had a burst blood vessel or something similar. Instead of showing concern or empathy, the manager dismissed it entirely. As someone who works in the food industry myself, I believe this could have been handled with much more professionalism. A quick apology, a calm resolution, and a private conversation later would've been far more appropriate. No customer or team member should be made to feel that kind of discomfort at the register. First visit to the newly opened Copperfield location. Few guests ahead of me in line when I ordered the Harissa Avocado bowl AND the chicken & rice bowl. The first order was started by employee #1 adding the rice then slid it over to employee #2. She proceeded to introduce me to each protein in that section. Then said the Harissa chicken would be an extra $1.25. I said why is that extra...isn't that what's included in the bowl? She quickly apologized for error. Completed the bowl and passed to the employee #3 at the register. He asks is there anything else. I said I ordered 2 bowls. At that moment, I glance over to see Employee #1 pass a bowl down which was for the next customer who happened to be an employee in line behind me. "So confused", I walk around him to next customer and ask if they'd ordered. They said no. So I see employee #1 with another bowl and ask if it's my 2nd bowl in my order. She informs me no she's working on another order. If this seems like ping pong machine, then imagine how I felt!‍ So there were 4 employees listening to me say my 2nd bowl wasn't made. NO ONE intervened to make my 2nd order! This is a missed opportunity at customer service. I gave up and paid for single order. I won't return. read more

I ordered online after a 12 hour shift at the hospital and the food was ready when I arrived to pick it up. I've been to this location a few times and it is always nice and clean. The lady at the register was very nice, she greeted me, looked me in the eye and smiled. Love her! I'm not sure who made my grains and rice bowl, but I want to hug them! It was beautiful! Aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, smelled amazing, there was an excellent balance of ingredients. I loved how the ingredients were spread throughout the bowl. Now to mention the taste, amazing is not the proper word for what my taste buds experienced. I've visited Cava about five times since they opened , and each time has been an amazing experience. Their cashier, Abigail, is always so friendly and kind. She goes above and beyond with her customer service, making every visit feel special. Her respect and positive attitude are a big reason I keep coming back! Besides that, the food is absolutely fantastic. The flavor, portions, and quality are consistently excellent. I recently tried their cucumber mint juice, and it is amazing--so refreshing! Ronin is very well mannered and informed me on the different items I was unfamiliar with. The food itself is a 5/5.

We went in to pickup some bowls on a Saturday night. They were out of steak and told us that it would take about 20 minutes to be ready. We decided to wait because we love the steak. It took a little longer than what they told us but Ronin and his team went above and beyond and gave us some free drinks while we waited and some desserts as well to make up for the wait. I thought I was crazy for believing the male managers were treating me different from the rest of the crew. I took it upon myself to illicit this reaction knowing that he'd respond this way. The managers here are constantly high, they rush the dish pit, yet want us to be detail oriented at the same time. I was sent home early one night for scrubbing chicken grease of the pans and being told I was moving slow bc of it. Would not recommend this location to vegans considering their lack of cleanliness. Drake is also horrible as he doesn't respond to any of the team members which results in him being called out in the group chat then proceeding to get upset that we tried to reach out. I visited this location when it first opened and it was good the first two times however my third experience with delivery order was underwhelming to say the least... portions were suddenly smaller and my bowl tasted sour so I ended up tossing it. My niece who recently quit, also confirmed that the location doesn't check the labels and would serve customers bad greens or expired dairy. She also told me the managements continued discrimination towards their team members that led to them quitting. I like cava just not this location do better read more
