I liked cava. Miss zoey's who was owner by the same corporation. This is fresh with a Chipotle feel. I had the spice bowl which was thank god not to spicy, but I think next time I will create my own. Ordered online - waited 40 minutes inside past 6:30pm on 6/19/2024 when my meal was said to be due. I waited right beside and watched them prepare meals before mine and asked about it and the guy was working hard but out of order. The manager came over and I asked her and she insisted that it was made in order. I am happy to provide the order number (since it wasn't under my name) to discuss further. This is our second time getting a pick up order from this location and we were disappointed again. The chicken was overcooked, the sauces were not up to standard, and the portions weren't on point. I got a small amount of rice in my greens and grains bowl. It's disappointing that this location is not up to the standard of other Cava's we have been to. I love Cava but never go to this location, but, I will now make this my go to. Momma Lynda was so pleasant, helpful and patient! The entire staff actually looked happy to help customers, which is a very welcomed surprise these days. I went with my friends and was greeted and treated like family from when we walked in the door. We had a great experience with the people and the food. Best bang for your buck in Clt by far. This Cava restaurant at Concord Mills, NC, gets a high 5 in service, food, and ambience. The lady which greeted us to begin our order was excellent. Couldn't read her name right, but believe it was Lahini? (Apologies if this is not correct).We did not feel rushed, and she explained all options taking care that we were served right. The food was excellent. No complaints. Everything was fresh, and plenty of food was served. To complete the great dining experience, we were met by Bella at the cashier. Place was dirty from the door to the kitchen. Tables not bussed, behind the counter serving stations looked like they had not been cleaned all day. Employees standing seemingly oblivious to the mess and not willing to at least sweep the floor, and how about sweet potatoes were undercooked? $35 total bill and I get raw food. It wasn't very clean either which can be expected with a dinner rush, but it should still be addressed. They were also out of a few items on the line.
