Chicken and lamb meatballs on power greens
Jannet C.

I come here all the time--it's one of my go-to spots for a fast, efficient lunch. The setup is super convenient: you walk down the line and customize your bowl or pita with all your favorite toppings. My usual order is the power greens topped with chicken and lamb meatballs, hummus, eggplant dip, tzatziki, tomatoes, and cucumbers, all finished with their lemon tahini dressing. It's always fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. They also have a great selection of fruit drinks--my favorite is the blueberry lavender. Another big plus is their rewards program. You earn points with every visit, and I've already scored free pita chips and drinks. Overall, it's a reliable spot for a quick, healthy, and delicious meal.

11.2.25 I don't go to Cava often, but after a great experience at Mezeh recently, I decided to join my husband and our friends for lunch. I ordered a pita stuffed with grilled chicken, pickled onions, roasted corn, tomato and cucumber, shredded lettuce, pita crisps, plus a generous drizzle of Tzatziki and garlic dressing. It was so good I couldn't stop talking about it! The portion looked huge--I thought I'd only eat half--but it was so tasty I devoured the whole thing. I'm officially obsessed and plan to come back more often. So happy to have found something that's both delicious and healthy.

I visited this location a few times since my last review. It's been a much better experience every time. I typically order ahead on the app, but I've stood in line before and it moves fast. This place is always packed! On my last visit, I got my go to chicken and rice bowl and I tried black lentils and surprisingly liked it. I would try that again.

Greens + Grains Bowl

Tried Cava for the first time about a week ago. Built a Greens & Grain bowl, and it was amazing! Ordered another one today just to make sure it wasn't fluke. It was consistently good. I would eat this any day of the week.

It was my first time at this location. The ambiance was on par with other locations. It appeared clean and there was plenty of available seating. I liked the efficiency of service at this location. The ordering process was relatively fast and accurate. All of the fixings were well-stocked. The pita bread was already at the end of the line, so we didn't have to ask for it at the beginning of the line just to find that it was not in the bag once we arrived at our destination. I also liked that they did not skimp on the portions. The bowl was deliciously flavorful and enough for two meals. For now, I think this is my new preferred location.

Lentil bowl: lentils, grilled chicken, corn, broccoli and feta

I love Cava and have a soft spot for this location because of the staff. They are friendly and welcoming and always greet me with a smile. The food is freshly made in-house; you can see the chef at the grill. I've also observed them making the falafels and the lemonade. Ever wonder why you see fresh pineapples in the refrigerator behind the serving line? Those are used for the different lemonades/teas! The dips and dressings complement the lentil bowl - and you get a pita on the side.

I went in and Jorge helped me. He was very nice. Food is always delicious. Felt very comfortable overall great experience.

We ordered a bunch of different dishes, including cheese pastries, lamb pita, a big platter of five grilled meats, and several desserts. The Dubai pistachio cake was my favorite! The music was a bit loud, which made it difficult to have conversations at times, but overall, it was a great experience and a fun place to celebrate!

We had a reservation, which I'd highly recommend. The place was packed. It shares space with other businesses but everyone was at Cazbar. They had an amazing belly dancer, Crystal! She was really good. She interacted with the crowd. It didn't matter where you sat. She went around to everyone and even provided dessert with a sparkler to anyone celebrating a birthday. Very cool! Speaking of cool. They have iPads as their menu. Fancy! The "Topkapi torch" was really good. A spicy bourbon drink! I got two! I would come back just for this drink. We tried a few apps. The beef pastry was delicious. We also did a sweet potato dish. The beef was my fave! For my entree, I did chop chop, which came with chicken and lamb. I thought it was good but not really worth the price point! Our server was just ok. He seemed a bit distracted and wasn't super personable but it didn't take away from the overall experience. The manager was very engaging and friendly. We would visit again!

We sat outside and were happy that the patio area wasn't very hot and that the nice large umbrellas protected us from the sun and were lit up when it got dark. We started with Saganaki, which included pita. It was flambed table side and delicious, we all loved it. We also had Calamari, I don't eat it but husband and daughter really enjoyed it. For entrees, husband had the special (filet mignon w/crab cake and shrimp on top), that came with mash potatoes and veggies. The steak was good but undercooked, the crab cake was good. Daughter had the pasta, she didn't really love it. I had the lamb shank with orzo. I don't usually like lamb but it was very tender and didn't have the aftertaste that usually comes with lamb. The service was very good, waiter was very attentive, replenished waters often and made good suggestions. Although we liked the restaurant, we felt that as a Greek restaurant there should be more Greek styled pork, chicken dishes. We also felt that some items were overpriced, specialty dish was $75, rib eye was $68, lamb shank was $55, roasted chicken was $39, etc. We will not return for another dinner, but might consider going for lunch to get gyros and Saganaki.

One young woman was behind the register and the other our waitress. My wife and I saw this place by accident while driving to the nearby Ross store. Since I am Gluten sensitive, I know that most kabob foods are safe for me ... but I always ask. The two young women both truly understood "gluten free" and guided me accordingly. Since we wanted a quick lunch and not heavy meals, my wife and I split a Chicken Kabob plate. With 6 large chunks of perfectly prepared chicken, a small salad and a giant helping of very special rice (see below), there was plenty of food for both of us. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. If you are not familiar, it is NOT "HOT" spicy. just delicious. We have a wonderful Moby Dick's in Olney (about 2.5 miles from my home). We enjoy their food all the time. It is claimed to be "Persian." Maiwand claims to be Afghan. To me, the food is very similar in name. BUT, while both are delicious, there are differences. Maiwand's rice appears semi-fried and mixed with a generous helping of raisins and maybe shredded tomato (to be honest, I'm not positive - but whatever it is it blended into the overall flavor of the rice beautifully). Chatting with the two young women, we were happy to learn that there is also a Maiwand Kabob restaurant closer to us in Clarksville MD. We WILL be searching for it soon! They do a Sabzi dish that I want to try, as well as a curry and Jalfarazi daily specials that sound awesome. Overall, a wonderful lunch served with care by two wonderful people. At $16 for one, it is a bit expensive, but for two = very reasonable. I must note that eating out has become outrageously expensive everywhere! Finally, this chain advertises that their food is "Halal," the Muslim equivalent of "Kosher." This is important to many people!
