WOW - I was so excited for this place to open up & I am not disappointed. I did a pickup order and ordered a salad. I did 1/2 falafel and 1/2 roasted vegetables on a bed of romaine and super greens. One of the reasons for a 4-star review is the bowl was missing my falafel, but it was still SO dang good! I hardly minded. The roasted vegetables exceeded my expectations (cauliflower, brussel sprouts, carrots) and the flavor of the roasted red pepper hummus was so delicious and spicy I didn't even end up using my salad dressing. I love how you can customize a bowl/salad/pita exactly how you like it! I am sure the falafel was just missed because they are new and were very busy at lunchtime. My only negative feedback is the manager (or who I believe is the manager) was not very friendly or helpful. I asked how I could add an extra side of protein to my pickup order and she stated I can do it on the app and they'll just put it in the bag with my pickup order and then I said, on the app/website it doesn't allow you to select a side of protein and she said, she didn't know how to work the website. That was it - that was all the help she offered me. I could tell she was very busy and she seemed very overwhelmed, so I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt. But I highly suggest she prioritize customer service and familiarizes herself with her store's website/app so she can better serve customers. I am excited to eat here again and try more things! Came here to pickup dinner for myself and everything was great! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped. The people working were very sweet and were pleasant while I placed my order. I had to wait for them to make fresh pita chips, which I didn't mind, but the gentleman in the front offered me a free drink because I had to wait. I know it's hard to get people to work for companies right now BUT everyone at this current location should be considered for termination. The staff was so rude, unfriendly, and incompetent. I'm shocked. I got charged 17 dollars for a chicken bowl. They barely put anything in it. When I asked about pricing they said their stickers with pricing needed to be updated... that's ridiculous hat they wouldn't honor the pricing that's on their signs. In addition when I asked for rice I read saffron basmati rice which is what I said. Then the lady started to give me brown rice I just kindly asked for the saffron basmati rice again she looked at me made a face then said this is basmati as she was giving me their brown rice option. I said I'm sorry I'm looking for the saffron white rice option. They don't even know their own products. The place was pretty empty. Overall I'm really disappointed with the experience. Downgrading a star from my other review. The service here is so mind-boggling and consistently bad. Just ordered via Uber Eats (Feb. 22, 2022) during a business meeting. My meal, which would've been $11-ish in person, cost $25 and it took nearly two hours to get here. My work is one block away. And the food was cold. That's on top of consistently poor in-line logistics, sometimes unknowledgeable staff (one didn't know what feta was), rude staff about 50% of the time, and unreasonably slow lines. The food is quite good, as noted in my other review. But this is just a badly run restaurant in every way, despite its solid concept. read more

All the ingredients are delicious!!! I got two build a bowls and got them to go. I'll definitely be back to order more of these Mediterranean bowls as they get their store more in order and things start to settle. It looks like a lot of the ingredients and bowls are out by early end of day since they are so popular. People swear by them in DC so I think the hype is real and what I've tasted from the bowls I tried, they are correct. I was excited to try CAVA! It's new to Sandy Springs and based on the video I saw on Tik Tok it was delicious. Location: It's in a shopping strip mall near the Goodwill store, next to Vitamin World. Parking is good and the restaurant is pretty assessable and they have outside seating. Options: You can get curated bowls or select your own. I would recommend selecting the curated bowls because adding avocado is $2....yes $2!!! They have a variety of meat which vary by location because based on their site I could order braised lamb however this location only had lamb meatballs. Additionally they have chicken and other proteins options. What I ordered: A lamb meatball grain bowl with a splash of rice, olives, avocado, and sauce. I was really underwhelmed and for $15 I expected more. The lamb had a pretty good flavor but it wasn't as euphoric as I imagined. Staff: Everyone was nice, but they need to get a little bit organized. Their setup is unilateral to Chipotle but they don't move nearly as seamless. One young lady took my order and just left me standing there, another came & added the grains and meatballs and left and went to the register to check someone out...I stood there with my bowl in front of me not being serviced for about 2 minutes. That's an area of opportunity for them...the customer experience needs to be more seamless. Overall: CAVA didn't impress me. My boyfriend and I just came in for the MILLIONTH time since they opened (we are big fans) - this place is too good y'all. I'll get to the food later, but I wanted to mention the customer service we received today - this place is always packed. As it should be, the food is amazing! However, this can lead to backups, and people get frustrated. We often come and hear people talking very rudely to the workers, and we've always tried hard to be kind because of this. Well, it was slow for the first time ever today, and the manager was incredibly sweet. She helped us out incredibly, and we appreciated it so much! Now, for the food always fresh, I've never gotten a bad bowl. The harissa chicken is literally in my dreams at night. There are so many dressing options, it feels endless.
