Not one employee was friendly, no one spoke other than before I placed my order, I was told everything they were out of, serving area dirty, and the girl wiping the counters, just pushed all the food on to the floor. When we got there, there were only two workers there. One was working in the kitchen and one at the front taking and making orders. There was only two people ahead of me and the worker asked me to place a digital order instead o just ordering with her. a they then placed a sign on the door saying they are only taking digital orders. Multiple people ended up leaving instead of placing orders. I felt bad for the workers who definitely needed assistance!! We waited about 15 minutes for our order and took it to go. The ladies were sweet and friendly just feel bad for them not having enough help. They looked low on supplies too. CAVA management needs to do better ASAP! I'm so glad that Cava at this location. Heard our complaints and fixed them quickly. I think they may under new management and it shows.. you can now show up with less time to wait on your to go orders and even if you do have a few minutes to wait at least you get to enjoy a courtesy drink while you wait. I forced my husband to come here because I had a really good experience in John's Creek. He on the other hand had a terrible experience in Sandy Springs, where the location was filthy!! This Cava location has gone downhill since I first tried them. I went several months ago, and went to their restroom. I opened the door only to find it filthier than a dirty gas station bathroom. Because of that, I did not go back to this location for some time. Then, I had a jonesin' one day for one of their salads. So, I decided to try again. I checked out the bathroom first. Bathroom looked okay, so I went ahead and ordered my food. They did not have any plastic lids for the bowls, they were wrapping the bowls with plastic wrap. Wow. Food tasted okay, certainly not as good as it has in the past or as good as other locations. Low and behold not long after eating I experienced a touch of food poisoning. What this area needed was a good Mediterranean place. Clean, flavorful, reasonably priced food that is also filling due to the portions and the amount of vegetables. Cava is a build your own style restaurant with a lot of choices, allowing a big degree of experimentation. In addition, they have chef curated items if you don't feel like choosing yourself. The service is pretty quick, even when it's busy since they have many hands and can move it along pretty quickly. I suggest harissa hot honey chicken and the harissa dip. The unlimited toppings are vegetable based and very tasty, and considering they are vegetables it adds to the meal being filling. This area is inundated with fast food and generally subpar offerings for Mediterranean, so having this as an option so close is great. With all of the possibilities, I will definitely continue patronizing regularly. I recommend it to anyone looking to try something new and also expand their possible list of regular takeout places. read more

DO NOT order online here unless you want to wait for a very long time to get your food. This is the 3rd time I have ordered online here only to end up waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Today was the last straw! Ordered for myself and a couple of colleagues at 12:02pm and set for a 12:30pm pick up. Arrived at the restaurant at 12:25pm. By 1:15pm my order was still not complete and at least 6 other customers who had also been waiting a long time for their food were getting upset. It's not Zoe's Kitchen! First impression: DIRTY It was 5 pm before the dinner crowd. No one else in there. 3 Employees we're visible. No reason for a restaurant to be this dirty when no one is in it, food on the counter at the cash register, the drink area was gross. The salad would have been good if the ingredients were fresher the amounts better balanced. For 28.00 for two salads and a tea, you would think you got a full bowl of salad. No...There was little lettuce and lots of dressing. Had to pick though the arugula to get the yellow pieces out. The interior atmosphere is a complete let down, especially compared to Zoe's. The food we ordered was good, however they were incredibly slow and out of numerous options, which there was no indication of prior to waiting in the long, SLOW line....so therefore everyone had to change their order on the fly. They were out of pita (kind of a big deal for a Mediterranean place with half of the menu items involving a pita!), avocado, a few sauce toppings, and even ice in the machine. They were still simultaneously taking online orders despite this, and we witnessed numerous customers returning to complain that their items were incorrect, thus holding up the line once again as they remade their items. They were also understaffed and the ceiling AC was dripping all over about 50% of the tables in the dining area. Although I enjoy the place, I doubt this location will stay in business long. read more

I used to love CAVA. I used to think their salads were so good, until today. I stopped at this location for lunch today, and while ordering at the counter, I saw a huge roach walking on the wall right next to the food/counter. I mentioned it to the person helping me, and she didn't seem surprised. She just smiled awkwardly and kept asking me what kind of things I wanted in my salad. I am utterly disgusted by roaches and kept looking at the one on the wall. To my horror, the nasty thing started FLYING toward me, toward my face! I ran in a different direction and screamed, afraid the roach would land on me. Everybody at the restaurant was surprised by my scream, and when they heard it was a roach, they seemed disgusted. Someone told me they would've screamed louder than me if it had happened to him. A guy that seemed to be a manager came out and killed the huge roach with his hand, using a paper towel. But that's not it: Just as I got back in line, a lady told me there was another roach right by my feet. The manager came back and stomped on it and crushed it. Just what I needed to see before eating, right? Yay? I only stayed in there because my cousin had been in the bathroom when the roaches came out, and she was hungry. They didn't charge us for the food and asked us to please come back again. I couldn't eat and was very nauseous for at least an hour. I was afraid the roaches may have reached the food at the counter, and that I could maybe find one in my salad. It wouldn't be impossible since I had just seen that one huge roach on the wall and the other one right by the bottom of the counter. Disgusting and unsanitary. My cousin almost threw up in the parking lot when I told her that maybe she shouldn't eat and explained the whole incident to her. I used to love CAVA, but today was the last day I even thought of it. Somebody that worked at the restaurant told me their door had an opening somewhere, and that that's how the roaches were getting in. Why wasn't management proactive to get this resolved? Placed a pickup order at 1:40 through the Cava App with a 2pm pickup time, only to arrive and the order was not ready. They served over 10 patrons as I sat there and waited 20 minutes and watched my order sitting to the side only half made. Customer service is horrible. After finally receiving my order and arrived at home, my order was incorrect. I called the store and was told to contact Cava support. She said "I don't know how to contact them, you'll have to look it up." I asked what I should do about the incorrect order and she said "What would you like me to do about it?" No honey chicken, out of the meatballs and they don't have falafel. In fact they do not have the flour for the falafel.
