Brace yourself ... I've actually found a Healthy Hamburger !! Their burgers are huge too! Great portion size and a great deal for your money I always get the burger and either a salad or tabouli - both very healthy and filling. It's a tucked away hidden find but well worth it. I order right through the "Gyro Cafe" app and the friendly staff have it ready when I get there. Nice corner store next to Taco Mac and a bunch of other great restaurants. There's outdoor seating and tables too, which is nice when I bring my dogs with me. Extra parking in the back if you need it.

Wow ! So much goodness. I'm a big fan of Mediterranean food so this was a perfect selection for lunch. Haven't had gyros in a long time so I had a mouth ready to be wowed in flavor and they succeeded ! I ordered the lamb gyro with hummus and let's just say it tasted so fresh. Nothing was dry or over cooked - just perfect. If you're in the Alpharetta area or familiar with Fooda at work - take advantage. Gyro cafe did not disappoint. The server was also my cashier and he seemed very nice and humble for my business. Was happy he took his time and listened to what I wanted. Will be visiting them again.

Very clean place and the food was good. Don't usually do reviews but the presentation was nice and they didn't go light on the protein!

We came here for lunch. We ordered chicken gyro salad and lamb kabob plate. The chicken was dry and didn't tasted fresh. Once I started with the salad I noticed some sand. The lamb just tasted like plain lamb meat. No taste of any seasoning. Might give it a try again another time. I'm not sure yet.

Worst gyro (if that's what you want to call this mess) that I've ever had! This went straight into the trash!

I was really craving a chicken gyro tonight. I looked on Yelp, and although the reviews weren't all that, I decided it was close to home and how badly can one really mess up a gyro? The small corner store is in a strip shopping center on the corner of Windward Parkway and Main Street. It was completely empty in there and now I know why. The place was filthy! My food was ready within 5 minutes. I ordered a chicken gyro with Greek fries to go. When I got home and opened the container, I was faced with soggy fries and a gyro that smelled rotten! The meat was dark meat chicken (if that's what it was), and full of fat. It really smelled "off". The chicken chunks were topped with wilted lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and chopped onions. The concoction was drenched in a thin, wet, supposedly Taziki sauce. The wrap was soaked and you couldn't even hold it without it falling apart. I will never EVER step foot in that place again! I'm afraid to know what the health inspector has rated it! I threw everything away. I'm extremely frustrated that dives like this are allowed to serve the public. Shame on you!

Good food and good service. The only thing that was not great was my hummus and pita. Large amount of hummus but only 2 pieces of pita. Bit of a disappointment. I would go back.

Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. You're greeted by the hostess that radiates warmth and geniality. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! For parking they offer a combination of valet services and validated garage parking depending on which location you go. The dress code is business casual. It's a perfect place for any accession, I definitely am planning on coming back to try more dishes. Take my word and come check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!

As a longtime San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I've been spoiled by incredible international food and…read morebold, complex flavors, so I'm always excited when I find a restaurant that delivers that same sense of discovery. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(

Service from Averi was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Came to replenish drinks and clear plates frequently. I will dine here again when visiting town. Give this place a try. The spices in the rice were overpowering and my partner didn't enjoy it as much. The potatoes were extra crunchy and a bit burnt... unsure if it was overdone or on purpose. It smelled like was it cooked in coconut oil. I would say 7 out of 10 overall. The lamb neck was recommended by the waiter. It was really good, slow cooked and the meat was tender. The sauce was unremarkable. The waiter gave us a house made spicy sauce and made this dish significantly better. I would say 9/10 overall. The hummus with the pickled mushroom was amazing. It was topped off with truffle oil and I just couldn't keep my hands off of it. I would say 10/10. I just want to point out the bill had a notice that says "tips are based on check prices after taxes" was confusing and unsure why would company charge tips on top of taxes. Our waiter was amazing so we didn't mind paying the extra but it really made us wonder about the company policy.

I've enjoyed the sliced grilled chicken with taziki (tzatziki) sauce, the Greek salad, baked pita chips with hummus, and the roasted potatoes. I like that the food seems relatively healthy. The chicken strips are tender and flavorful (I like the olive oil and seasoning) and the hummus and taziki [sic] dip are tasty too. I also like the pepperoncini and Kalamata olives in the salad and how good the pita chips taste on their own (they're addictive). The menu description for the hummus is "[a] puree of chickpeas, tahini, touch of cumin, and lemon juice" and for the taziki dip is "Greek yogurt, cucumber, dill, and a hint of lemon." Based on what I tasted, I think these descriptions are accurate. Taziki's is a chain with over 110 locations nationwide. His customer service alone set the tone for this entire experience. I initially reached out regarding a promotion I received via email, and although we discovered that the promotion wasn't currently being honored at the Atlanta or Milton/Alpharetta locations, Joe didn't dismiss me or brush it off. Instead, he took the time to thoroughly explain the situation and went above and beyond to make sure I felt heard, understood, and accommodated. That level of care is rare. I decided to visit the Windward location, and from the moment I walked in, the experience continued to exceed expectations. The staff was genuinely friendly, my to-go order was ready on time, and everything was seamless. Now let's talk about the food this was our first time ordering one of the family feasts, and it completely blew us away. We typically order individual meals, but this family feast was on a whole different level. The portions were generous (truly family-sized, not just labeled that way), everything was fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. The salad was crisp, the food was flavorful, and you could tell it was prepared with care. For context, we're a family of three, and we were able to eat off this meal twice which says a lot about both quality and value. Kudos to Joe, kudos to Taziki's, and kudos to the entire team at the Windward location in Milton. If you're looking for a place that delivers exceptional customer service and real value for your money, this is it. Joe you deserve a raise.
