We are a party of two. Sharing food is our new thing and Walk On's makes this so easy. We ordered onion rings and a catfish platter with fries. LOTS OF FOOD. Grayson was our server, thank you Man!! Everything was perfect. I left there full! Had to ease out of the to-go back door. Y'all already know, I'll be back!!!

We chose to sit on the patio since the Alabama heat has FINALLY settled down a smidge. The patio was spacious with plenty of tables as well as couches. There are several televisions positioned around the patio, so no matter where you sit, you can still catch the game. While it is definitely a sports restaurant, it also felt very family friendly. There were even a couple of young girls recording a TikTok on the patio, which brought a smile to my face. Our server was McKenna. She was pleasant throughout our visit, and it was obvious that she was making an effort to provide good service. She took our drink orders promptly, and our food came out fairly quickly. I ordered the Ahi Tuna salad and was pleasantly surprised by the size. It was not only plentiful, but beautiful and delicious! My son's food must have been delicious because he finished it in record time. His significant other did not have quite the same experience. She ordered her burger without lettuce, tomato, or mayonnaise, but it arrived with all three. Her fries, which she had been looking forward to, were also very hard. She ended up taking her burger apart to remove the toppings and left nearly all of the fries untouched after trying one. In McKenna's defense, it was a bit loud on the patio, so it is certainly possible she did not hear the request to leave the lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise off the burger. Toward the end of our meal, my remaining salad had been boxed to go and it was clear we were finished. After waiting about 15 minutes, we eventually had to ask for our check. When McKenna brought it, she explained that she had accidentally mixed up our check with the table behind us, who had already left. She was apologetic and explained that their ticket, which she handed to us, was lower than ours and hoped we did not mind. We certainly did not mind paying less, but I did feel bad knowing the other table had apparently paid about $10 more than they should have. As we were leaving, I also noticed quite a few napkins, dishes, and other items scattered around the patio. More frequent attention to clearing and tidying the outdoor area would make an already nice patio space even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an okay first experience, and I would definitely give Walk On's another try because there were several things on the menu that caught my attention. McKenna was kind and pleasant, and I do not want the mistakes during our visit to overshadow that. However, between the incorrect food order, the delay with the check, and the ticket mix up, I do think some additional training and attention to detail would be beneficial. And that Ahi Tuna salad? I'd order it again in a heartbeat!

It's housed in what used to be an old elementary school, now converted into an incredible hangout spot. Inside, there's a full bar with an impressive rotating tap list displayed on a giant chalkboard, each beer listed with a number and description to make choosing easy. Beyond the drinks, there's plenty to do -- a small arcade, a virtual mini golf business in the back, outdoor seating, and yard games like cornhole and giant Connect Four. The vibe is relaxed, social, and full of energy without feeling crowded. I ordered two flights and loved the variety and quality across the board. Between the atmosphere, drinks, and entertainment, this is easily one of the best spots in the Birmingham area. A definite must-visit whether you're a local or just passing through.

On google they close at 11...They just called last call and it's 10:10pm....The chalkboard says "Tracy" tonight and she has no manners. She came at a customer about the hours and about someone writing on the bathroom chalkboard and then said she could close whenever the hell she wanted because she owned that business. The girl hasn't in fact written anything in the bathroom, because she's never been in the bathroom at fermenters. So don't accuse a customer on drama you "think" happened..I'm sorry but if you say you're open until 12 then you should stay open until then, especially on a Friday night. Last time we were here it was just as terrible, they don't answer the phone AT ALL, we called 3 times prior to arriving because they'd been "closing early all week" which was rumored by locals. So we showed up and they were open even though they didn't answer the phone....then at 8:40 they called last call (yet again a 12pm close time online)...with all this said, they need to learn customer service and that if you want to run a business you can't just shut down because the bartender is a sloppy drunk mess (as she always is). You also can't just cuss out customers because they pointed out a flaw in your business. The man who defended "tracy" who came at my friend also needs to learn that the two of you can't keep a business open with attitudes like that.
