I came to check out the new back drop/ changes.. I hate going to a bar where the staff is having a better time than me when I'm the one looking for a good time & I'm spending money.. I won't say everyone was doing that but my waitress definitely wasn't focused.. one bar tender was really cool.. he seemed to be ambitious and will probably be a bar tender legend one day.. I got a lemon drop it didn't taste like anything tho honestly.. the Jell-O shot were the highlight because they put pop rocks on it( I grinned and giggled because of the popping) Their menu is very small and very peculiar.. eat before you go pretty much. They feeding ppl hit pockets and baby shower meat balls..I'll give it a second chance because my drink was so cute they will make whatever you think of..and I did fall in love with the first paper doll experience

My first time back since Paperdoll rebranded to POP, and I'm happy to say it still has the same vibe I loved. Even for a Saturday night, it wasn't really busy -- which was actually nice. We sat at the bar (always a good idea in my opinion), and the service was pretty good. The music selections really elevated the night, and the star of the show was the pomegranate martini -- their take on a pornstar martini -- so yummy! I had 5 drinks for about $40, which was wonderful, and they were strong! Definitely planning to return soon

A Taylor Swift pillow but don't expect them to allow you to actually play Taylor.

Paper Doll Pop is a joke. Yeah, the drinks slap, but the service is absolute garbage. I had to sit there waving my damn hand like I was trying to order tater tots in a high school cafeteria just to get the bartender's attention. My server was apparently living in Narnia or hiding in the back room for 20 minutes at a time. And don't get me started on the music. They hype up this app where you get to pick the songs, but then the staff hijacks it to play their own lame playlist while my songs' music videos are still playing on the TVs like some kind of bad lip-sync battle. What's the point? It's messy, it's lazy, and it's unprofessional. Drinks alone don't save a place that runs like a Dollar Tree knockoff nightclub. ON TOP OF THAT I requested a Taylor Swift song they didn't allow to play yet they have Taylor pillows as part of their aesthetic.

The best ambiance in town -- perfect for a girls night, date night, or a casual drink. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgable, the drinks are strong and unique, and the vibe is immaculate. This is definitely an Instagram worthy bar. I also had the pleasure of attending a rose tasting class in their "back room" area. I highly recommend the experience for any large groups, companies, etc.

Paper Doll is one of my favorite bars to come to! I always take my friends/family here when they come into town. Great French 75 and other drinks as well. Going on a week night is more my style because it is much quieter for a first date or just going to relax and get a little drinky drink!

I was here last night to hang out with friends after work. When I walked in, I wasn't immediately greeted and it was not a lot of people inside so that wasn't good. However, once I went to the bar, the bartender did ask if he could get me something. This bar is decorated nicely and has a cool vibe. I'd probably come back.

The White Winter Negroni! (The drink is actually clear but the light is reflecting off the gold decor behind it.)

This nice, upscale bar has yet to disappoint. I like how at certain times you can just walk in and find your own seating. You can either walk to the bar and place your order or if you're seated they'll come to you and like most bars you can leave you tab open. On my last two visits I've ordered Queen's Navy which is a gin cocktail with lemon juice, orgeat, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Very nice and smooth going down and is on the sweet side. I also had the Elder-Bramble last night and it was good too but not something I'd go back too. Overall service is nice and quick. The atmosphere is relaxing with dimmed lights and upscale decor. I've never gone too late when they're busy so it's usually quiet so that you can converse.

The menu is online, but I cannot easily read it. The software does not make it easy to expand the menu to see the contents. We are leaving. It is too frustrating.

Paper Doll is one of the best bars in Birmingham. They serve up creative craft cocktails in a gorgeous atmosphere and the staff is always friendly and on point. I like that they remember me when I come in which is (sadly) not every week. It's a wonderful place for happy hour with friends or for a date. They're not really about the food but they do an amazing charcuterie board which I highly recommend.

This is a pretty cool bar. I'm not sure why I don't come here more often. They have a huge selection of cocktails. I didn't drink but tried some of my friend Adam's drink. Winter something. It was delicious! I'm definitely getting it if I come back here. My friends and I shared their cheese board that also included meats, crackers, olives, and okra. It was a really fun time!

Absolutely fantastic cocktail bar in downtown Birmingham. They have an incredible selection of creative concoctions and if you don't see anything you like, the bartender can whip something up to your specifications. The atmosphere may be upscale, but the prices are very reasonable. Every drink I had was unique as it was delicious. I came on a slow Wednesday night, but there's lots of space to hang out and relax by yourself or with a group of friends. Shout-out to the bartender, Brent, for going above and beyond. Really enjoyed talking to him and he made sure I got home safe after a fair few drinks. Definitely going to the Paper Doll next time I'm in downtown. Cheers!

Tried this new bar after a yelp event the other day and I was not disappointed! The drink selection was awesome. They had an extensive wine and beer list, plus a plethora of interesting cocktails. I had the Provence, which is New Amsterdam Vodka, St Germain, Domaine de Canton, fresh Lemon Juice, Lavender Bitters, Prosecco, and Rose Hips. The cocktail was refreshing and delicious, and I felt fancy AF with the roses floating around in there! There was a decent jazz singer there and we enjoyed the music. The patrons were quiet and the lighting was dim. The decor is upscale and tasteful. All in all, a classy, relaxing place to have a drink. Go check em out!

Cool place for college games. You get a good variety of fans cheering for there teams. Huge screens…read moreto watch the games. They have a great SEC drink menu (recommended by our server) and the food was great with big portions.

2:30pm on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. Walked in and it looked nice, nothing super fancy…read morebut nice. I sat down and maybe the wobbly table should have been my first red flag. The chairs sucked to add to it. I find the bathroom, whoever thought it was such a good idea to put a faucet that high was special because you have to turn the water low enough or push the faucet to the side to prevent from it splashing all over you. My in-laws got there a few mins before us and got everyone waters which that was good. The waitress, it took her forever to come back by to ask for drinks or starters. Granted we were waiting for a few other people but my husband wanted a soda and we were going to go ahead and get an appetizer. I decide to stick with my water because I just felt like I would get a drink if I asked for something different. Which I was right. My husband had to wave the waitress down for his soda. She accidentally brought him diet. She never brought back his drink. I had to get up and ask the hostess about our his drink and that we were wanting to order an appetizer. The hostess apologized and said they were really busy. I know I had to fix my face because I looked around, saw our table, and two other tables, about 6 people at the bar that the bartender handled, and looked back at the hostess like, "wtf?" The rest of our group shows up. Waitress comes back. Still no drink for my husband and gets our appetizer orders along with the remaining drink orders. When the appetizers comes out, it was a guy who brought it to us and we asked him about the soda and he apologizes and gets it for us...finally. Nothing special about the appetizer just chips and dip. We finish it and once again...the waiting game. The rest of our group still had yet to get their drinks. She comes back after another long wait, drink less, and gets our orders. My father in-law mentions the drinks, she apologies, and gets them. The wait it took for our food to come was ridiculous. I hate to imagine how long we would have had to wait if it was actually busy. Maybe it might have been worth my wild if the food was phenomenal but the moment it was sat in front...I knew it was not gonna be good. I got the Alfredo with shrimp. It looked like some soup. The sauce to noodle ratio was not good. The sauce was so runny that I had to lean it and eat the noodle like Naruto eating ramen. 5 measly pieces of shrimp. The sauce was also very gritty. How something that is so runny also be gritty, I don't know but I've had lean cuisine frozen alfredo dinners better than this $29 plate. 3 of us ordered Alfredo, only one got a piece of bread but I'm not asking for bread because I don't want to wait 30 mins to get it. My son looked at me and legit said, "we should have just gone to Olive Garden" knowing good and well I don't care for Olive Garden but also knowing it would have been better than whatever this plate in front of me was called. When walking to my car, I looked at everyone and said, "I'm sorry but this place sucked. I've been curious about it and now that I've experienced it...there is nothing here that would bring me back." So I suggest spend your money elsewhere because there is nothing that makes this place standout enough to have the audacity to have nonexistent service and charge $29 for soupy Alfredo
